Choosing where to live is an important step in the moving process. San Jose has a neighborhood to fit everyone’s needs.
- Downtown San Jose – One of the safest cities, San Jose’s downtown is an inviting place for all ages. Families can enjoy the Children’s Discovery Museum and the Tech Museum of Innovation. Are you into an active lifestyle? Downtown San Jose has great wildlife trails along the Guadalupe River.
- Japantown – If you are looking for an authentic and historic neighborhood, you’ll find it in San Jose’s Japantown. The neighborhood has wonderful restaurants, Asian performing arts, and martial arts schools. Stroll through the farmers market on Sunday mornings or visit the Obon Festival in July.

The two-day festival also includes rides, food, and craft booths.
Choose the Right Time to Move in San Jose
San Jose has a beautiful subtropical Mediterranean climate making everyday the perfect day to move. Temperatures range from the low 40’s in the winter months and the high 80’s in the summertime. Check out the weather report on moving day in order to dress accordingly and be prepared.
