This has nothing to do with personnel at the location - they were GREAT! Unfortunately, the failure on the part of the U-Haul app left me stranded for nearly 2 hours with no one present (in person) to assist. In the future, I will only choose a pickup location with people present to de-bug all the glitches in the App. As it was, I tried to decipher directions, web sites, and the App for nearly an hour before dialing the toll-free number and then waiting almost another hour before I was rescued by a skilled and friendly U-Haul employee who got things sorted out.SCOTT M.

The truck I received was old and unsafe. Tire blew out and battery went dead in a very remote location. It does not appear that this truck was inspected before having it rented to me. I brought this up to staff that I noticed dings on the truck and they said that the pictures I took should be sufficient for me not to get the blame for the dings. I feel I was put in an unsafe truck due to negligence and I want a refund. This was a very scary experience. Ways to improve for the next customer, inspect the trucks for safety and do not rent a truck that has bad steering and is damaged. The damage could be more than external and visible but also internal and not visible. U-Haul needs to do their part to make sure trucks are safe.Mary L.

Lori and Corey were very patient, handled my anxiety (scattered brain or senior brain issues) over extending my rental, expenses, etc. Very personal good friendly people. Loved this location! Problem: after hours check-in app said I didn't have enough memory to take pictures, clicked off and I couldn't get back into my order. Customers need to be told they have to have a certain amount of memory to use the app or it won't finish the process. Very frustrating.Lady Rae S.

Person at location was extremely unhelpful at pick up time after was having trouble with app pick up/check in. Told me rudely to call main number and her "system was down"- had to call number on office door as was closed despite being during business hours. Thus I then called main number given and the person there was very helpful and walked thru pick up process. Later when returned truck app unable to verify location (again issue with poorly functioning app)- thus next day charged extra rental, insurance, and "after hours service fees"! I even tried to call at drop off time when returning truck- but wait time at 9pm was estimated around 30min. Needless to say- though have always appreciated uhaul (and people answering help line were great both yesterday at check in and this morning when called to discuss extra charges), but I will NEVER again use this location or recommend to anyone.Robert S.

Honest record keeping of fuel markings. Gave us a paper that was not accurate and let â€œrenter bewareâ€ to catch it or not. Trucks should have a full tank to check in and should be full at check out. Quibbling over a fraction of a mark and charging exorbitant amounts as punishment; not allowing the renter to refuel to correct. We returned the truck with the exact level of fuel (picture to prove) but didn't catch that it was different than paper; off by fractionâ€”charge $9. The check in app doesn't work; after 45 minutes we gave up because it was cutting into our moving time. Pictures of truck and dash gauges not enough. Renter Beware!!! We will try another company next time even if it is higher priced. Might be better to rent a SUV or van from car rental co and make multiple trips.EARNEST W.

The website couldn't find my reservation even though I had a confirmation code and check in link, so I couldn't check in after hours. Thankfully, the store owner called me (after hours) to make sure everything was OK, and was able to put me in contact with a direct uhaul number, instead of the 1-800 number where the wait to speak with a rep was going to be 59 minutes.SARAJ N.

The guy that checked us out was very accommodating and even offered to look for a larger truck if i thought i needed one. From the description of the sizes of trucks, I think this information needs to be changed. I had originally reserved a 26' truck which is for a 4-5 bedroom home. I downsized to a 20-foot truck because I only have one bedroom set, 2 sofas, 1 set of living room furniture and my personal belongings. This truck was not big enough so I now have to make another trip to Fort Worth, hire 2 men to load truck, drive to Houston, hire 2 more men to unload truck plus pay for gas. This move will cost me twice a much since the calculations as to what will fit in each truck is underestimated.AUSTIN A.

I stopped by the office and told him I needed a truck and appliance dolly to move a refrigerator. He was helpful alerting my online order and explaining the after hours process. Except he didn't tell me the truck had NO RAMP and that a refrigerator would NOT FIT in it. I wasted my money!Michael P.
The process worked fine, although checking in on mobile took quite a while. My only real complaint (which I STILL have not heard from customer service) is that I reserved two furniture dollies but they were not in the truck which we realized too late. I'm still seeking a refund for those. Please advise the best way to do this.Barry C.

We returned the truck 3hrs after rental, with the same gas as rented. We did the after hours online return as the office was closed. The truck was marked as returned two days later, with an additional fuel charge. There was nearly $100 more charged to the rental then the original contract.Joe M.

When picking up and dropping off a truck after hours, the parking area is very dark. I also requested one order of furniture quilts and they were not in my truck when I picked it up. The truck also had way more mileage than I thought U-HAULs were even allowed to have. All in all, I was able to get my job done, but I don't know that I'd choose this location again.Douglas W.

Had trouble after i turned in the truck, i couldn't use the u-haul web site, it could not track my location using GPS, i tried using my phone and tried a few times, then i had my daughter try her phone and again it would not work on her phone eitherWarren S.

Not have a cat in the lobby area and have clean pens/ area . Also U-Haul was not clean and extremely dirty and smelled, cleaning U-Haul especially during this COVID times is essential. I would not want to receive a Uhaul from this location again.Chinwendu A.
