I had an awful experience in this location, The people who work there are unprofessional, I spent almost half an hour getting the truck, and the gas wasn't at the point he told me. when I returned it, they asked the customer to take a picture to show them the oil level and the kilometres, after I said no to him, he speak something in their language to me, sounds not like good words. and also, they took another 20 mins to get the paper works done. The truck size I had reserved, at least two weeks in advance, was not available. Had to go with a larger model, which was okay, but it took a while for the licensee to contact U-Haul by phone. Which was frustrating. When that was sorted out, I had to go through the license, credit card stuff, which I had already done online. So much for quick pick-up! I shall be avoiding this U-Haul location in the future. Your product is okay, but the service is not good at this location.Brian S.

Review is not for location but overall experience-Please provide info if previous driver is not returning vehicle. Uhaul/share experience is extremely frustrating. Gave me wrong password and the other time would nit let me proceed online to authenticate. Took me 2 days and 2 cancellations before I could find get a vehicle.ROHIT J.

Our experience was a nightmare. We booked a 20 foot truck and a couple of days before we were to pu we were told we would be getting a 15 foot with a trailer which was unacceptable. We were to pu in Arcona and ended up having to pu in London. We lived in Grand Bend and we're moving to Orangeville. The pu was not smooth the fellow at the pu spot tried to charge us double so we had to call your head office. My husband was not happy and said he would never use your company again or recommend you. The truck had been used for concrete transportation by a very intensive smoker who also likes to eat potato salad in the salon. I am no Sherlock to figure it out. The link I received shortly after the lease had started led me to a page where I was supposed to confirm or dispute the condition of the equipment, but when I actually tried to upload a photo of the salon it gave me an error and page refresh didn't help due to the link expired. I requested to pick up my truck at the Esso Gas station at 769 Southdale Rd E. but missed that my confirmation came from 1101 JALNA BLVD UNIT 5. I picked the Esso Gas station because it is across the street from where I live. I showed up at 9:00 am on the day of my pickup at 769 Southdale and the guy there said he didn't have a truck for me. When I offered to give him my name so he could look it up he was very rude and wouldn't take my name and told me to call U-haul. He was very rude and unhelpful. I called U-haul to find out that the truck was at 1101 Jalna where I drove over and picked it up. The gentlemen I dealt with at this location were very friendly and helpful. The truck had garbage in the back and in the cab which I had to dispose of.JASONA H.
The attendant at Family market whom we delt with to complete the rental agreement immediately prior to obtaining temporary ownership of the uhaul truck on our moving day was rude and extremely difficult to understand an deal with over all. After the unnecessarily long an daunting task of completing the rental agreement.... we recieve the keys and immediately head to the parking lot where the truck is located. The state of the cargo area wasn't poorly maintained, although it hadnt been swept out and blankets were strewn about the overall condition of the interior cab located at the front of the truck where the driver an passenger are seated was left in such a poorly maintained filth ridden condition, that not only were we forced to spend 25min cleaning, whiping, sweeping, an sanitizing the entire interior of the cab before we felt comfortable driving it off the lot, even after removing 13 water bottles, numerous fast food containers, loose papers and other garbage that remaind left behind from the previous individuals who rented the vehicle... the amount of clumps of dirt and mud that painted the entire cabin of the truck from the roof to the floor was simply obserd and we were illiquipt regarding the cleaning supplies required to remove the filth so after taking a short video of the situation at hand we eventually drove the moving truck off the lot bound for the address in which we were now late on arrival for moving day! What a joke the whole experience turned out to be.... theirs so many moving companies that rent trucks at affordable prices i seriously doubt I ever rent from uhaul again.Dustin H.

I booked days in advance but when I arrived they were in the process of renting their only truck to another person. Fortunately the other person was very understanding, however I stood in the crowded store for over an hour because neither employee knew how to complete the paperwork. Both were very rude and unapologetic. Not to mention it clearly stated online that I was never supposed to have to enter in the first place and the keys were to be brought out to me. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!Justin D.

I was assisted by two separate clerks at this location (one for pick up and one for drop off) and both were above and beyond helpful and amazingly friendly! 10/10 customer service, 10/10 for speed of service and 10/10 for ease of service! The truck was immaculately clean in the cab and back, smelled pleasant and drove perfectly, everything was explained to me and I felt very welcome at the store; I read some poor reviews of this location beforehand and those reviews were the complete opposite of my experience. They were so friendly at this store that I honestly might start driving out of my way and past other corner stores just to shop there because their customer service is worth it. This was the worst customer service I have ever received! Found the man to be very rude and just not very helpful at all. We have used uhaul a number of times, and never had an issue. I should have used the mobile checkin. I will Not use this location again.daniel W.

Have depot locations do checks on all incoming/returned vehicles to ensure no mess or damage, as well a secure vehicle. The passenger door was not latched or locked, cans and bottles left in cab and garbage/dirt in back of truck.Wendy S.

The truck cab cup holders were full of cigarette ash. The cab reeked of stale cigarette smoke which is now in our coats which will have to be cleaned. The back of the truck was full of dust and debris left over from the last rental I'm assuming. No blankets or dolly were in the truck. There was only 1/4 tank of gas in the truck, even though I was going all the way to Scarborough. Extremely inconvenient to have to fill the truck twice.lucas V.

The service I received was absolutely horrific! I waited for over 30 minutes picking up the truck....then another 20 dropping it off. The man doing the rental should be fired! Totally incompetent, I was told one price about 20 minutes earlier then charged another price, when I asked about it he just shook his head and said this is the price. Because it is located in a market, it took 1/2 an hour to actually get the van due to the constant interruptions by other customers. We kept having to wait while other customers' purchases were rung through. This ate into our allotted time. The gentleman was very apologetic but perhaps this is something you could address.wendy D.

1. At least sweep the back of the truck before renting. 2. don't lie about the amount of gas in the truck,the customer can easily check the gauge. 3. 2 1/2 hours to register is unacceptable especially when you have a pre-existing account. Understandably some rental offices are convenience stores but should a renter have to stand aside while the clerk puts the rental prosses on hold to tend to everyone else who walks in behind the him/her? That process put me 2 hours behind schedule, witch led me to miss my 2 hour time slot to use a service elevator. A service elevator that couldn't be booked until the next day, next day meaning I had to pay 86.53( more then the invoice for my u-haul rental) to my landlord because i wasn't out within the arranged time. I honestly wouldn't recommend any convenience store rental office to anyone, those kinds of stores have priorities that don't include the u-haul customers. And are, in my opinion a detriment to the u-haul company. Most likely won't be a reoccurring customer.TAYLOR A.
