Elizabeth Lthe outside of the trailer was very dirty including the tail lights and reflectors .. those at least should have been clean and clear. Also, the brakes did not seem to be working. Otherwise .. the interior was good and the staff serving us were friendly and making the arrangement went well.

Louie ROverall the service with the trailer (hooking up and returning it) was great and I cannot give anything but praise to the woman who assisted me with the trailer itself. What I take issue with is that there were things added by the rep who took my information for the rental prior to the hookup (another woman) she charged me for things did not select online which were added to my bill as well there as discrepancy on the rates between what the website stated and what i was charged. I was simply told that there was nothing that they could do about it. Personally, that sounds like fraud to me and calls for massive improvements on your part. If you overcharge/charge someone for optional things that they do not need nor want and have no way of remedying it accept for wasting time calling up the 800 # (what they told me I would need to do) that is simply not good enough and while I personally cannot be bothered to sue over this I am sure eventually someone will!! (if there was a class action on the other hand I would certainly opt in)
keith jI didn’t look in the U-Haul before taking it and there were blankets and a dolly inside that I didn’t request and had a hard time making room for to return it.
Florence VOur truck and trailer were still buried in a foot of snow 2 hours after our scheduled pick up time. Unbelievable lack of professionalism from all staff. We were told our only return option was 35km away from our final destination, thankfully we were able to find a dispatch location 8km away instead which ended up saving us another $90 in gas. We were also told by this location that there was the possibility of a partial refund if we returned the equipment early, which turned out to be untrue. I would not recommend anyone to deal with this location.

niccole WI want to speak to a manager. Gas was not full Windshield washer was almost empty then had water in it and froze had to call service. Windows were not clean. We reserved a 20 foot truck u couldn’t give it to us.

linda kYes I have some constructive criticism. I had my husband return the truck but he doesn’t use a phone or have internet access and when I tried to check the truck in from home it wouldn’t let me as it said I was not on location. We were not made aware that both of us should have been there at the return time. . The truck was returned early as it was there the night before it was due, so we had better not have a service charge for not signing it in. It stated it could tell I was not on site by your geo-cache so you can also check that geo-cache and see the truck was returned on Sunday which was well before it was due back. Additionally, I was quoted a cheaper price on the web site so I don’t find it fair that when the young man pulled it all together the price went up. The young man did nothing wrong, he was a pleasure to work with, it was the way your system works. I included extra items in my quote and boxes were cheaper etc on the site but even though I purchased the whole bundle it was higher than the web site. Other than that we appreciated the moving truck. Thank you.
Sandra MThe customer service at the return location in Dryden was impeccable. They were kind and caring. They were informative and said that I might received a rebate because there was more gas in the tank on return than when I received the vehicle. They checked the vehicle with us and thanked us for returning it in such a clean condition. I was asked if there were any issues. I advised them of the concerns and they noted them. Great place to return the U Haul and the easiest return I've ever had.

Victoria EThe previous renter did not return the truck on time which delayed my getting the vehicle for 3 1/2 hours. I should have finished with the truck the same day but had to delay unloading the next day which inconvenienced me and the people I was taking items to.

Cynthia LAfter I loaded up the trailer the leaf spring snapped. We weren't able to look under the trailer when I picked it up because it snowed the night before. The location was closed on the weekend so I couldn't get a new one. I fought for over an hour on the phone trying to tell them it can't be fixed on the side of the road and need a new one. Finally a guy in Winnipeg picked up and helped me within 15 min and found me a new trailer and told me to hook it up and go.
Chris RNot the original location I booked my trailer rental for. Last minute text from uhaul saying I would need to pick up one in another city. Had to drive 280km to do that. Didn't have the number of moving blankets I booked. The experience itself was terrible. Staff at this location though made up for it. They were very nice and trailer provided was in good shape and served its purpose.

Clinton MHad to dig out and hook up car dolly on my own. Truck was covered in snow. Ratchets on dolly where all frozen and covered in ice. Lady at counter said here employees to do u-haul work were both on medical leave it took an hour to get rental truck we had reserved
Denise OOnly location to rent a uhaul. Didn't know there was a larger trailer on their lit to offer to us. Took a long time to process a rental. Had to find someobe, ourselves, to come over to lot, to hook up trailer. Friendly people, but only one person in building is knowledgeble of uhaul information and hookups....when he is not there: no one knows what to do.

Joshua KWe are furious with UHaul (the company). We reserved a 20’ truck for our move on Aug 2nd over six weeks in advance. We just happened to call a few days before to confirm and we’re told the reservation was not in the system. Additionally we were told that even though we make a reservation, there is no guarantee the truck will be there!! How can this be?? So there we were…stuck with a large household to move in 2 days and NO truck. We ended up making 20 trips with our vehicles and a small trailer. It was 200km round trip!! That’s 4000km with the price of gas over 1.80/litre. You do the math! It would have been cheaper to hire a moving company than to rely on UHaul. This is the second bad experience we have had with UHaul. Then…we find out that The exact same thing happened to the people moving into our home!! We will be reporting UHaul to the BBB as their poor, unreliable service is costing consumers thousands of dollars. Your policies need to change and you should be compensating people for the inconvenience of your unreliable service!!!

Michael CI rented in Winnipeg on 06/13/2022 and returned on same date in Dryden, as a curtesy to have the trailer ready for a new customer, I went to the location on 06/14/2022 to make sure all was good, they said all was good as I don't have data on my phone. On 06/15/2022 the Dryden owner contacted me and asked when I would be returning the trailer, I informed him it was already. Then I noticed Dryden location charged an extra $22.60. I went to the location on 06/16/2022 and disputed the charge. The owner was very ignorant and simply said Call U-Haul !! After calling u-haul you did refund and I thank you. This dealer in Dryden is not helping your company.
David FDue to the May long weekend, this trailer had to be rented for 2 days more than it was needed. Accommodations for this type of scenario should have been implemented.

Earle LFlat tire on trailer the next day and U-Haul does not plan their reservations whatsoever. We had to drive 2 hour East of our booked pickup location to pick up our auto transport trailer and 3 hours West to pick up our moving truck. Unfortunately if you want to move yourself and don't own your own equipment you are at their mercy, U-Haul definitely needs some competition in this marketplace.

Bradley BI transported the uhaul from ignace to dryden becuase uhaul couldnt get an employee to do it for them and then they charged me for the fucking gas?! Completly unacceptable!!! I expect to be re paid the 50 dollars worth of gas i spent for a favour i did for the company un real
Brayden HVery accommodating and explained how my $75 deposit would be returned in about 2 weeks. With a large company that's a lot of interest accumulated over 2 weeks. And please don't reply with, Well that's what happens when you pay Cash. I returned the equipment and it was better then when I picked it up.
