Pretty sure I was charged twice. As I was billed initially 72.00 for 60 KMs then I was billed again 74.00 for 60 KMs AND a fuel charge when I brought it back with the same amount of gas, I departed with 503 Kms to empty and brought it back with 499 KMS to empty. So why a fuel charge? For 3 KM’s!? Probably will go to another location in the future due to the double charge and fuel charge.

The lady (Ms. Mary) who handled all of our arrangement did a first rate job in being prepared. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I highly recommend the franchise location and Ms. Mary.

You shouldn't allow people to book a truck for 7:00 AM if the rental location doesn't start renting until 8:00 AM. Luckily I had a coffee and bagel to fill my hour long wait.

The people are nice but the place stinks of cigarettes, very hard to stand in there waiting to fill out the forms with the stench of the cigarettes. It just turned my stomach.

Very run down. The staff added the insurance even though I said I didn’t want it. This was later corrected. At drop off the rental wasn’t closed right away, it was done on sticky notes which I’ve never had happen elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst experience. This establishment charged us for 3 days when we only had the truck for 4 hours. Con artists in my option and very hesitant to ever do business with them again. Renting a truck for 4 hours to pick up a swing set for my kids should cost over 400$.

advise about 30 minute window of pickup to cancellation or reservation. have master key to trucks available at locations or a second key given to me for this type of issue. your roadside charge $200 to have someone come unlock the door. way too expensive i called a towing business that did it for 56$ tax in.mhave more people available to answer phones. i could not reach anyone at the Kanata location as well around 300pm. would it be possible to have a reembursement of part of my invoice due to no help to have door unlocked as i looked after it myself due only one key being given at pickup.

Very dirty building and staff , not helpful at all didn’t even come and check made me pull up to very tight area with my diesel truck and van loaded on dolly at front onto sidewalk because she wouldn’t come to back and take a picture once hooked up , straps all tan here’s when I arrived took me 35 mins to untangle , NOT IMPRESSED

The return was okay and quick but the pickup was horrible! I arrived at the location and started to get served and the person went to serve three other clients at the pump and cash before finishing my reservation. The smell of the place was awful. Took 20min to do the pickup. I was unimpressed. And the truck only had a 1/4 tank in it. I don’t know how much fuel i need so I put 100$ in the tank and that brought me above half and i ended the trip at 3/8. So I lost that money in gas. If the truck would be kept at full the problem of putting too much gas would not happen. I was not impressed with that. And don’t get me started on the fact this was supposed to be a one way trip and I had to do a back and fourth. Lose 2h of my move in just to return the truck. And the gas it took to do that…. Very frustrating experience

Booked truck to find out night before no truck was available. Then they said we can give you a bigger truck for the same price but it was way more on fuel. I booked a one way to find out that they didn't have a one way available so they said they would compensate my mileage but they didn't. Called head office and a manager should get to me in three business days. We will see...

I have to go back and habe them correct an invoice. There is an error with the mileage. They charged 172miles instead of 172KM. Big difference. That should not have happened. One of the trucks was reported by the driver as having the steering wheel shaking all the time. The interior seemed clean however.

Undrrstaffed. The worker put in a lot of effort, but was alone. He needs help. Truck pickup took 45 minutes.

The app for pictures would not work on my iPhone, at pick up. The front end has a terrible shake or shimmy. It was a very shaky 600 plus miles.

We told the woman that we were about to drive 170km (she wrote 100 miles since it’s in miles for u-haul), but when we came back to drop the truck, she made us pay again because she said we didn’t told her we were about to do 170km.

The trailer was NOT INSPECTED and the women who rent me the trailer didn't know 1x brake light not working (if the second light when off is a MAJOR at the scale ) 1 side marker 1 side blinker

THERE WERE NO SNOW TIRES ON THIS TRUCK! We were ok on the main roads, but when we got got onto our snow covered driveway, the truck got STUCK, and almost ENDED UP IN A DITCH! We had to get PULLED OUT of the driveway BY A TRACTOR! The guy who drives the tractor told us he had had to tow THREE OTHER U-HAUL TRUCKS off of snow covered driveways. The lack of tires on these trucks is DANGEROUS and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

This was the worst experience and WITHOUT SOMETHING DRASTIC HAPPENING I will never use UHAUL again. I don't even know where to start. I receive a reminder confirmation but when I showed up the vehicle was not available. The hoops that I had to jump through. After far too long on the phone and needing to reschedule people who had offered to help. WHICH COST ME MONEY. I returned the next day to again not have a vehicle available. They then made me wait over 3 hours on the phone only to finally give me a different truck that you charged me more money for. It was a horrible horrible experience that I still have not been properly or adequently compensated for. And not even an apology was issued. Not impressed at all.

I wish there would be a devise to help pin the trailer. The 6x12 trailer is very heavy. Hard on anyone’s back to lift alone.

Replace the suspension system in the truck - driving the truck reminded me of those old wooden roller coasters. Seal up the driver cabin, holes mean it's like driving a windtunnel.

Have to load and unload heavy trailers alone. I do all the hookup and they snap a picture. The 6x12 trailer is extremely heavy for me (45 year old female). I'll be looking into other options next time. Full price to do everything myself is not ideal or fair.

The attendant was very efficient and courteous. The rental went very smoothly and was the relaxing point on a very stressful move, due to time restraints. The truck was clean and easy to drive. 5 stars rating for this U-Haul rental location.

The trailer rented needs maintenance, the rolling door was stiff and hard to open or close. The location is a bit creepy but we the lady is alright.

Shadey operation,, customer should be on alert, make sure to check the contract, all emailed, no copy to read. Filthy truck, reserved, for a time, when I arrived nothing was started. Clueless clerk.
