Very dirty building and staff , not helpful at all didn’t even come and check made me pull up to very tight area with my diesel truck and van loaded on dolly at front onto sidewalk because she wouldn’t come to back and take a picture once hooked up , straps all tan here’s when I arrived took me 35 mins to untangle , NOT IMPRESSED

The return was okay and quick but the pickup was horrible! I arrived at the location and started to get served and the person went to serve three other clients at the pump and cash before finishing my reservation. The smell of the place was awful. Took 20min to do the pickup. I was unimpressed. And the truck only had a 1/4 tank in it. I don’t know how much fuel i need so I put 100$ in the tank and that brought me above half and i ended the trip at 3/8. So I lost that money in gas. If the truck would be kept at full the problem of putting too much gas would not happen. I was not impressed with that. And don’t get me started on the fact this was supposed to be a one way trip and I had to do a back and fourth. Lose 2h of my move in just to return the truck. And the gas it took to do that…. Very frustrating experience
ALEXIS TBooked truck to find out night before no truck was available. Then they said we can give you a bigger truck for the same price but it was way more on fuel. I booked a one way to find out that they didn't have a one way available so they said they would compensate my mileage but they didn't. Called head office and a manager should get to me in three business days. We will see...
ANDREW BI have to go back and habe them correct an invoice. There is an error with the mileage. They charged 172miles instead of 172KM. Big difference. That should not have happened. One of the trucks was reported by the driver as having the steering wheel shaking all the time. The interior seemed clean however.

JEAN-MARC BTHERE WERE NO SNOW TIRES ON THIS TRUCK! We were ok on the main roads, but when we got got onto our snow covered driveway, the truck got STUCK, and almost ENDED UP IN A DITCH! We had to get PULLED OUT of the driveway BY A TRACTOR! The guy who drives the tractor told us he had had to tow THREE OTHER U-HAUL TRUCKS off of snow covered driveways. The lack of tires on these trucks is DANGEROUS and COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Anick NThis was the worst experience and WITHOUT SOMETHING DRASTIC HAPPENING I will never use UHAUL again. I don't even know where to start. I receive a reminder confirmation but when I showed up the vehicle was not available. The hoops that I had to jump through. After far too long on the phone and needing to reschedule people who had offered to help. WHICH COST ME MONEY. I returned the next day to again not have a vehicle available. They then made me wait over 3 hours on the phone only to finally give me a different truck that you charged me more money for. It was a horrible horrible experience that I still have not been properly or adequently compensated for. And not even an apology was issued. Not impressed at all.

LISE-ANN SHave to load and unload heavy trailers alone. I do all the hookup and they snap a picture. The 6x12 trailer is extremely heavy for me (45 year old female). I'll be looking into other options next time. Full price to do everything myself is not ideal or fair.

Darrell SI got "upgraded" from the 4x8 trailer to the 5x8. It was a nice trailer but it was an air dam. Wouldn't call that an upgrade but oh well.
JOHN KThe staff is useless at this location. Hurt myself lifting the trailer I rented onto the hitch of my vehicle. They offer no help and don't come into the yard at all.

I had already hired a team of helpers, so this caused a lot of inconvenience and cost. As a result, I had to rent a 9x5 trailer, in Hawksbury followed by a 26-foot truck three days later from Ottawa Innes road location When I tried to explain the situation to the customer service agent, I received no support. Instead, I was given a poorly maintained truck that vibrated so much that my coffee spilled everywhere due to the shaking. This was a frustrating experience that I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through. However, I would like to highlight the excellent service I received from Mary at the U-Haul location in Hawksbury Ontario. She was patient, kind, and very helpful when I rented the 9x5 trailer.”
karim bI was wrongly charged a $120 plus tax charge for a missing dolly that I returned. The location has been saying they will credit the charge since last Friday and I have followed up with them on three or four occasions since then. They keep assuring me they will credit me but I have yet to receive an email or a call confirming this was done.
Michel PI was charged for options that I never asked for and they didn’t even have to rent for that matter, the amount I was quoted was not the what I was charged and the attendant was using her fingers to figure out how much money she owed me from the 300$ deposit cash I had left. It’s the worst experience ever and would never recommend or even go there ever again I’m not even sure how they are part of uhaul to be honest? I was supposed to get a 50$ credit for a confusion on my original truck rental I had made I received a call at work on Thursday Aug 29th at 8:20pm saying that they had unfortunately overbooked and there was no truck available for me that day at all any size whatsoever. I was at work and I was moving in 1/1/2 days I was so frustrated to say the least so the next morning Friday before leaving for work I went on the uhaul website to find a truck as I was moving the next day and I was able to book a 20ft truck for 24hrs pick up location 24/7 plaza Hawkesbury Ontario at 6:30pm drop off same location 6:30pm Aug31to Sept1. So I don’t know why my truck had to be cancelled in the 1st place? That’s when I was told I would receive a 50$ discount for the trouble which I never received?

Kim RWhen I arrived on site on time to pick up my trailer the person on premise told me there were no more trailers that they had all been rented out. When I mentioned I had reserved the trailer over a week ago and had confirmation emails from U-Haul he essentially indicated he could do nothing and said I could go walk the lot to see if a trailer was there. To my surprise there was a trailer. When I informed him there was one there he then informed me he couldn’t do anything a he doesn’t do U-Haul rentals. He had to call a manager which took 20 minutes to arrive on site to process the rental. The whole experience was a horrible one

JILL BUHaul location provided faulty information with respect to our leasing term. The location site was not well maintained, and requires investment/renovation/clean up and the professionalism of the staff is below standard.
Francis VLet a person use a credit card of someone on the phone without needing the actual card. My mom was going to pay for the truck but I didn't have her card so I couldn't.
Sherry FLa boîte du camion était pleine d'emballages de carton laissés par le dernier client. Ce camion aurait dû être vérifié avant d'être loué à nouveau. On s'en est rendu compte arrivés au lieu du déménagement. Il nous était impossible de jeter ces emballages n'importe où. On a dû mettre nos meuble par dessus ces emballages sans compter le stress de risquer une amande pour quelque chose fait par le client précédent.

PIERRETTE MEverything went smoothly from the person on the phone who helped me with my initial rental. The lady who help me out in Hawksbury, ON was very nice and gave fast and friendly services. Thr only problem I had was that the U-Haul App crashed twice on me when completing my overnight return at the Ottawa Coventry Road location. But it did end up working out for me.
