There was not an actual employee from U-Haul on the premisis, I spoke to them on the phone. No paperwork was given to me, no one went around and looked at the damages in the truck. But the car dealership people were very nice and helpful. The customer service agent Patrick was very helpful in refunding some money since I had to drive an hour out of my way to pick up the truck. Trucks need air fresheners.

We were told to drop off but they didn’t tell us to go next door to the 35 car sales place next door. Maria Onofre was not helpful at all. Her dog was barking, the guy in the office was eating KFC chicken. She reported the dropped off trailer as having all the issues I listed above to a guy on the phone, he told her to put that trailer “down”. Friday morning we’re trying to find out from her if she found us another trailer. She rented out that one that had all the issues. It should not be on the road let alone transporting a car/truck on it at all. She didn’t even get on the phone to tell us that she didn’t have a trailer for us on Monday 7-17-23. She knew we HAD to have one reserved. Instead that chicken eating guy told my husband on the phone uhaul should call us on Monday to tell us where to pick one up. We’ve never had to deal with such nonsense & people not knowing their job than this place. Horrible. These little neighborhood 3rd party uhaul places don’t know anything.

Personnel did not come outside until I went in and got them to come out and inspect my trailer.
