It was a drop off so didn’t see anyone but had to call 2 days after drop off to have them check in the truck so I could get a final receipt

The place to pick up the U-Haul was a completely abandoned. There was not a single person there to hand me keys I had wait for customer service to answer the phone for over 45 minutes after already waiting over 3 hours to find me a new U-Haul truck because the original one that I was supposed to get was not there. When I was contacted by someone prior to tell them to check and make sure that the truck was there and that someone would be there to give me my keys. They verified that both of those things were going to happen before I drove 45 minutes to get the truck and even though the truck was in fact there, no one was there to help me get my keys and I had to call customer service to figure out how to get into the drop off box.
