Visually check mileage in the truck prior to renting it to another person. I picked up the vehicle with 45929 miles on the odometer. The UHaul app said it was 45629. I tried to dispute, but there was no one at the site. I didn't realize that using the app to take photos would mean that they would not be saved on my phone. Upon return, I disputed but apparently to no avail. UHaul believes that I drove more than 400 miles in less then 4 hours, in a truck. Wow. Live and learn, I guess.Kevin Q.

Took 2 hours with the online to get fixed to get the keys for the U-haul customer service hung up with out finishing to help me. They then canceled my u-haul online and I had to start over. When I did get in the lock box for the keys the keys were for the wrong u-haul that was stated on my paperwork online and had to wait till the shop opened to get the right keys.JAMES A.

I requested the equipment to a closer location weeks in advance. The trailer was sent out the day before on a one way trip and I was not notified until I went to pick up. Took an hour to finally find another trailer and an extra 2 1/2 hours to pick up. The $50 reimbursement fee doesn't come close to the gas and time it took to actually get my hands on the trailer. Not the problem of the location but of U-Haul Corporation. I have been a loyal customer for many years but this is not acceptable.MELANIE B.

They dont have many sizes to choose from. I had reserved a uhaul on a monday to be picked up on a Friday. The day before I got a call saying they dont have the 15ft available. If I wanted that size I would have to go 45 mins to pick it up & be charged the extra miles. So I ended up with a 20ft that I way didnt need that size plus they had a 10 & 15 ft on their lot but said those were for local. Wish I was told that before I reserved my uhaul.Susan B.

The company I picked it up from informed me that they are phasing our uhaul because they are tired of it causing me to have to get a bigger truck and spend more money than I needed to because they just didn't wanna deal with getting option on the lot. So what should have been a 25$ trip maybe 30$ cost me over 50! The back storage door went up so fast itd Rip your arm off and to top it off when it did go up it went so far up that it got stuck and I was 2 hours getting it unstuck! Worst moving company to rent trucks from. If a place is a uhaul affiliate they should honor the company and allow all type of vehicles on the lot so customers are not over paying for what they didn't need in the first place.Justin W.

More training is definitely needed with the 24/7 pickup. This was not a good experience and delayed our moving. The process could not be explained in a definite manner and when we arrived the code we were given for box 1 actually opened box 2. We called support and after trying two more codes they gave us, we still could not unlock the box. We were able to contact Kimberly the staff member at the location, who the entire process went out of her way to help us. She manually opened the box after us waiting for an hour. Definitely not pleased with this experience!John I.

This location did not have the truck i ordered they gave me another truck that was bigger. My supplies were not there and i ordered them ahead of time. They couldnt give me medium boxes or the furniture dolly because they didnt have them. The lady was amazing trying to find what i needed but i am not happy with uhaul overall after my first rental was not available and i had to drive 1.5hrs one way out of my way to get the truck.Michelle B.

After the truck got stuck in our yard, I called the Uhaul number like I was told to do at the time of rental. That person told me that due to this truck being out of warranty protection, WE would have to pay for any tow/winching service. $200 later, I am angry that we were not told this when we rented the truck. I thought that the extra money we paid for a 'safe move' was supposed to take care of 'Problems' that occurred. Why is this the way that you do this. It is very unfair that we were hit with this added expense when we had spent most of our available funds, trying to get into a home for our family. I did appreciate that the roadside assistance folks kept checking on us while we were trying to get through the nightmare.Duane M.

The main problem I had with the whole experience is with the online reservation. There is NO indication that if it will be a one-way rental that the destination zip code is required so that the correct rental amount will be indicated. Mine went from $113 to $247 by not being round trip. Totally uncalled for! It indicated that the zip code was optional!!! When I called about changing to a one way...everything changed...I originally requested 6 days...was given 4 days when changed to one way and was then assigned a drop off point that was almost 3 hours from where my destination point was located. YOUR WEBSITE NEEDS TO BE REVAMPED!!!Elaine O.

My final bill was $60 over the amount that was stated on the information that I signed. The explanation was that that was due to taxes that were added on. If this is indeed the case, I would suggest that you inform your customers that the the amount you give them will NOT be the final amount due. I reserved a 10 foot truck from New Martinsville WV Order reservation number 24492419. When I arrived all that was available was a 15 foot truck. I was charged more for the 15 foot truck that you should have had at that location. I should have been charged the same amount as the 10 foot truck.Joyce A.
The truck that I ended up renting was not the one I reserved. Thankfully the gal called uhaul and they let her give me a larger truck for the same rate. Keep in mind this was after waiting for more than three hours for the truck I was supposed to get first. This was at no fault of uhaul or the dealer so I guess my frustration was intended for the gentleman that did not keep his word and returned the truck whenever.David B.

I called to extend my rental for one day. The receiving office called my cell phone multiple times from various phone numbers stating they needed the truck back. When i drove past their lot, they had multiple trucks sitting including a 15 foot identical to the one i was driving. I dont appreciate harassment nor threats and my move is just as important as anyone else. I appreciate the treatment by that facility. I will not use Uhaul again, too unprofessional, i will use a standard rental company and not have to put up with the bullshit.David P.
