Well the saga continues after my last rental I was accused of damaging the box of the truck three hours after returning the truck to the local agg natural location. I returned the truck at the same level of fuel and used the box to move a refrigerator. When I picked up the truck my reservation was lost and I waited in line for 45 minutes during which time the customers in front of me were struggling with getting there reservations taken care of but due to poor communication between U-Haul and agg natural they were experiencing difficulty getting there reservations met one pair got on there personal phone and booked with another pick up locally while the representative at agg natural tried to iron out the details. Then the other two customers were helped also once a discrepancy in the truck being a truck share not a in town only truck do to the wrong labeling on the key itself . Though it was a long process I felt the representative was going above and beyond to help the influx of problems that seemed to be more of uhauls responsibielty not agg natural. He was definitely flustered and hastily gave me the keys to the truck parked in front do the the high trafic and other renters not returning there trucks it was obvious there was some serious short commings in the whole process. I told him upon returning the truck I was going to be taking my lunch from work to return the truck he said it wouldn’t be a problem and I wouldn’t be charged the extra day . Now after using the truck to move my fridge and utility trailer I returned and wanted a full walk around fuel and cleaning check as I’ve had issues in the past with fuel levels the representative upon returning was short and blatantly rude stating the fuel was not where it should be and I was being charged 40 for fuel the extra day rental for being an hour late and a cleaning fee of 30 dollars to clean out the box of the truck . I responded that I would go get fuel and scrub out the box at the local car wash . Whitch I did then returned she did a full walk around checked the box and said her app still showed a 20 dollar fuel charge . Frustrated I asked for a receipt so there wouldn’t be any surprises she furnished me with the receipt stating no damages the extra day charge and 20 dollar fuel charge and dropped the cleaning charge . Here’s where it gets REAL three hours later I receive a reviewed receipt saying I owed 289 dollars on top of the previous bill for damages. I immediately called U-Haul to dispute the charges as I had a receipt showing no damages and safe move insurance U-Haul said I had to get in touch with the general manager at agg natural Justin. So I went to agg natural and asked for Justin he was extremely rude short and confrontational with me stating that there was a long gauge in the roof of the box truck . So I asked to see the damage there was indeed a large totally obvious penetration through the rear of the box . So large there was no way me and the representative that did the walk around earlier could have missed it . Again totally frustrated by U-Haul and down rite disgusted with agg natural I left the store with a feeling that I was being screwed. In the middle of a move I needed U-Haul services again the following weekend so I made reservations at the tire store on south aburn not wanting to deal with the assault I had received from Justin at agg natural. Everything went smoothly on the U-Haul app reservation but when I showed up to pick up the U-Haul I was told they were unable to rent to me because I was on e alert . So I called the 800 number I was giving to resolve after an hour and 18 minutes in the parking lot the representative came out to notify me they were closing in 15 minutes and to schedule a mobile pick up . Which I did but the app wouldn’t allow me to retrieve the key . So back on hold I waited 45 more minutes only to be told to call back during business hours. It gets better keep reading ! So the next day I wait till 10 am because that’s when agg natural opens I went to the location on Idaho Maryland drive in grass valley and began my wait on hold in there parking lot here where it gets good ! I’m walking around the building when I notice a low over hang on the side of the building with hoses and scrub brushes . Obviously where they wash out the trucks and the corner of the building had a serious scar in the stucco and aluminum shavings obviously from a U-Haul truck and big surprise when I got my tape measure out 10foot 11 inch’s . There was also a 55 gallon drum full of water the water was clean and fresh no spider webs or signs it had been there for vary long . 2 plus 2 equals 4 in my book I’m a walks like a duck looks like a duck must be a duck kind of guy . And this made me very suspicious and honestly a little hot under the collar as I was sitting on hold to pay a 280 dollar deductible to a truck I with out a shadow of dought did not damage . But with all other recourse being taken I was stuck paying the deductible so I could finish my move. After clearing it up with the e alert dept and paying the 280 dollars I went inside and rented another truck . Young man at the counter was polite and helpful other then not being able to give me check out receipt do to a slow system he gave me the key and I asked him to walk me out and point out the rite truck . Here is where it gets down rite evil as we pass under the overhang camera still dangling from its broken perch I say . Dam what happened there ? He smiled and laughs and says the owners Gwen’s daughter ran a truck underneath it. I was apauled they were blaming me for damages they clearly did and using my insurance of the the box truck to pay for it . I said nothing though I really wanted too. I finished my move and fueled the truck up again past the check out level and washed the box and cab spotless and headed for agg natural to return as soon as I walked in Justin the general manager walked aggressively towards me and said I read your review and you are never going to rent from U-Haul again I stated I just wanted to check the truck in and get a complete walk around we walked out side and Justin continued to rape me with his young calling me a liar and inspecting the truck with a magnifying glass after two walk around I stated I wanted the fuel level checked and he remarked rudely off course you liar. All because I left a honest review of the account that happened .Justin was unaware of my knowledge of the damaged building stucco in the rip of the box truck and the statement of one of the employees. Everything in the truck passed his scrutiny and I simply stated that I noticed the damage to the building and that his employee told me the cause again he called me a liar and said I would forever be slack balled from renting from U-Haul in the future. I have pictures of the building the truck the stucco in the rip also of the apparent cover up the water barrel and cone . Agg natural gas cameras facing this area but Justin refused to show me video of the time of my trucks return I’m currently seeking legal representation to get access to the video that I’m sure will magically not be available. Renters BEWARE SNAKES ARE EVERYWHERE IN THE FOOTHILLS DONT GET BITEN!

Michael MEverything was totally fine. There was a bit of a wait, busy morning for them, two folks serving multiple people and a trailer to move. My sympathy and thanks to them. As a result pick-up was a little slow, understandable, but if this is common more staff could be hired, but if it was an unusually busy morning I have no complaints.
Galen CWhen I rented the equipment I rented it to pull a utility trailer . I didn’t even use the box truck . When I came in for reservations they had no record waited in line for 45 min for help staff was friendly and apologized for inconvenience. Told the representative that I would bring the truck back at my lunch time on the day of the scheduled return whitch was an hour later then scheduled . Upon return I was hit with an extra day worth of charges and told that the fuel level was off and a 40 dollar fuel charge was being added in addition to a cleaning charge of 30 dollars on top of the extra days rental charge and insurance coverage I declined and stated I didn’t even open the box of the trailer . I decided to take the truck to get more fuel and to the car wash to scrub it out . It was filthy inside mud on the walls and floor I spent 12 dollars at the car wash and put another 20 in gas pushing the needle well past the mark it was at when I rented . I returned for a second time and requested a check in walk around along with my receipt. The needle was touching the half tank line and the representative still argued that they take a picture and use an app to decide were the fuel level was she stated I was still going to receiver a 20 dollar fuel charge but the clean up job was good . She gave me a receipt for the transaction statement saying 0 dollars for missing or damaged equipment 20 dollars for fuel for a total of 247,33 for three days and 69 miles the original quote was for two days and 50 miles 155.13 . Then the next day I received an email saying they were charging me an additional 280 dollars for damages to the truck after I allready had a receipt in hand saying there was no damage to the truck . I registered a complaint with u haul they were no help and gave me claim number and said I had to deal with the general manager at the rental location . So I took time of work and went to speak with him he was very rude and said the truck was returned with a hole in top of it . He showed me the damage and there is no way I was responsible for it . It was very obvious and would have been seen on the walk around performed the day I returned it . I believe that when they pulled it around in there drive way they must have done the damage . I paid for the safe move insurance that was supposed to cover any damages to the vehicle he said they only cover 80 percent of the damage cost and that I was lucky I paid for the insurance or it would be over 800 dollars . I’m currently seeking lawyers representation to take U-Haul to court over this unbelievable retaliation for arguing over a fuel and cleaning that I wasn’t responsible for.
Laura RThey charged me twice for basic insurance. It was supposed to be $15 which it shows on my first receipt. When I got checked out they charged me $30. So now I have to waste more time today going back to that location to get them to put the money back in my checking account! Nobody's got time for this BS.

Ryan YEverything was great! I would say that Finding the location was a bit difficult as there was no "U Haul" sign that we could see on any building in the compound. We had to "guess" which building was U haul. We could see trucks/ trailers in two lots so that was a clue we were "close". While there may be a sign posted somewhere, it wasn't apparent to us.

I’m thankful that I was only moving furniture a few miles rather than cross country, otherwise my furniture would be ruined.

Ed SThe bed of the truck was covered with black grease. we were sliding all over it and got our shoes covered with black grease. I drove 4 MILES in the truck, put one gallon of gas into the truck. They charged me $20 for gas. THEY OBVIOUSLY MISS READ THE GAS GUAGE! I brought it to their attention and they said it was automatically generated???????
