Truck made noises as if it was going to break down, had to push too far down for brakes to stop. Very old truck, u helpful argumentative attitude attitude. Long wait times even with prior reservations, Internet did not work which slowed down entire day!

Johnny ZAvoid this location at all costs. I rented a pickup truck specifically to tow a trailer for an event, but the truck came with a locked hitch from a previous customer. U-Haul did not have the key to remove it and had no replacement trucks available. This massive oversight left me stranded and forced me to hire a professional welder out of pocket to cut the steel hitch and lock off just so I could use the truck. This ordeal made me hours late to my event. To make matters worse, the manager/owner, Anita, completely ignored the situation and never returned my calls. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.

BRIAN KWe dropped off after hours. The location was gated so we had to park along the street. But there was no parking available along the street when we arrived. After about 15 minutes, finally a space opened up. We have no idea how we could have left the truck if that space had not opened. Had we known this was going to be the case, we could have chosen a different location for dropoff. There were two or three other U-Haul trucks parked in the street as well in various places.
Casey CThe lady was rude. Furthermore, she charged me $471 for a scratch on the truck, even though I had paid $179 for full coverage. I filed a complaint, but no one has replied yet. In the meantime, they have already taken the money.

Darrell RThe store doesn’t open until 8/9 but the street sign said no parking starting from 630a which means on the entire block of Rosecrans where we’re told to park near the location is at risk of getting a citation which is what they said not to do. Customer service is lacking. And you can’t park your vehicle in the lot even for an hour is wild for paying customers. Also the fact that we have to take all the photos is tedious.

EDWARD MWent to a different location first as that's what my reservation was listed as. Drove there and the business was closed with no drop box in site. I should receive a notification when my location is modified, not have to discover it once I'm already there. The app would only show the location for a split second before switching to the drop off info. I was forced to take a quick screenshot to realize my location had been moved.

BRANDON DI’ve been written from you offer four years and 1995 was for 24 hours. The first time I ever experienced to wear. I had to bring it back in four hours never knew that and dirty. I told the lady about it that was the manager she understood it she was nice and everything Because I didn’t like the $50 charge for bringing the truck back within four hours. That’s crazy. I never heard of anything like that before.

MICHAEL H2nd time using it, rented a pickup this time and a 9 foot van last time. Both were new, clean and did the work they were rented for. Really affordable for local moves.
MURRAY TThe wait was just a bit long (ie get there early if you have a time crunch because by 9:15 we were 5th in line for 2 people at the counter) but service was excellent and the truck was good. I would suggest that when you put in the appliance dolly that you put it cross wise in the truck or strap it to the wall. It slid up and down each time I stopped and made a giant booming sound. Scary the first time!

JEFFREY MI visited this location, parked my car in the "CUSTOMER PARKING" lot. I drove around 15 miles when I got a call from the representative there to "come back and move my car within 15 minutes or we're going to tow it". I was 25 minutes out. When I rushed back so that my car doesn't get towed, I noticed there were absolutely NO cars/trucks on the lot (I had assumed that they needed my space for the trucks), and the lady who called me wasn't even there. Best part is that the lot says "customer parking", I got charged an extra $41, and UHaul is not giving me a refund because they are a franchise. Never using UHaul again.

It was one person working and it took time, but she had excellent customer service, it was just a bit of a wait, and the customer behind me walked out due to the waiting too long, and she just wanted some boxes.
