Lady at the front counter yelled at us for one hour telling us we were over our miles. We assured her that we went from point A to B and no more. She kept checking her computer and blaming us. My husband told her the mileage was in KM not miles at which she yelled at us some more and told us that was not possible. Once she calmed down and realized he was right she then saw a computer error. It was HORRIBLE.DAVID S.

The one person I talked to barely gave eye contact and did not greet me. The online process was fairly tedious but convenient. I turns out I did not have to talk to the employees there.Julian L.

There was a bit of a wait ( which I didn't mind) but the lady behind the counter seemed to be rushed to get us out of her hair and didn't really explain anything to us. I felt like she just sort of tossed the keys to us and said good luck. She didn't even check my driver's license to confirm it was me and that it was valid. It would have been nice to be told about the app and the step by step stuff that can be done using it to get the vehicle and to return it.Majal T.

Finally one employee asked what we needed and when we said we had said to pickup by phone, they offered no help or guidance on how to do so. It's a uhaul rental location - really not much room for improvement- place could be tidier but when renting a moving truck I'm not expecting a shinny storefront I just want to get a truck in a quick and efficient manner and they do that.Peter M.

At a time like this with covid 19 you walk into the shop it was in organized the appearance inside was so messy crap and uhaul supplies stacked out in customer area junk every where even the counter tops loaded with crap from one end to the other a fire trap waiting to happen.James Y.
Got to pick-up location, lady serving said we couldn't have the vehicle because her system was down. Said to come back later. She seemed surprised we didn't find this a very suitable situation. She said that these things happen. I asked her what were our options, as the vehicle was outside, we had to have the stuff out of the apartment, we were moving, by 11.30am, or lose our security deposit, also we had driven in, from out of town, to help our daughter move. She said that wasn't her fault and she was just following U-Haul's policies and if there was no website use then we didn't get a truck! When I pointed out that if 'these things happen, maybe there should be a plan b', as we, as customers, just being told, 'hard luck, go away', wasn't really any type of customer service at all. After our questioning her complacency, she became very defensive and really disinterested. She suggested I go online and do the booking by phone, when I asked how she expected me to go on U-Haul's website, if she couldn't, she just stared at me as though I was being really rude. Luckily, after about 10 minutes of her telling us there was nothing she could do, the website started working and she said she would allow us to take the truck...that was nice of her! I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IF THE U-HAUL BOOKING WEBSITE IS UNAVAILABLE, FOR ANY REASON, YOU JUST DON'T GET THE VEHICLE YOU HAVE BOOKED, EVEN IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY STOOD NEXT TO IT... JUST RIDICULOUS. Also, when we got in the vehicle that dash information indicated that the vehicle required servicing. I would not use this particularly unhelpful, and I would like to point out, really filthy outlet again. Also, they seemed to no concept of the current requirement for social distancing.Michael F.
I used the online check in and so picking up the trailer was quick and easy. My issue is with the state of the trailer tires. They were both very worn and one of them was virtually bald with no tread left. I would never run tires that bad as it is a safety risking driving a trailer like that on the highway.Kathleen R.

This was not the location I had originally arranged. Two days prior to moving, I was informed that this was where I needed to pick up the trailer. Owner was not friendly, and was not helpful when I phoned to inform her that the trailer wiring had malfunctioned within one hour of use. The U-Haul dealer in Vanderhoof where I wanted originally to pick my trailer up was more than helpful, and had my trailer fixed in no time at all.Chris P.

I recommend helpfulness and friendliness. And consider winter tires on U-Hauls in Prince Goerge. Some people do move in wintertime! The first U-Haul Pick-up location we were ordered to after our booking was not even open!lani V.

The UHaul Dealer needs to be better trained as he advised me that I can drop off the truck at any location when in reality the "fine" for dropping off at an alternative location is a couple hundred dollars. I almost found this out the hard way but thank goodness other then some wasted time, I did not make this mistake becasue I called UHaul prior to leaving the truck as the App was not letting me finalize the drop off (in the south location, b/c the dealer in Prince George had identified a north location). This was a huge hassle and wasted time and I would have rated him much much lower if I had been fined.Champa M.

The rental agent at this location was very rude and abrupt. She was not helpful in any way and when I had an issue instead of being nice about it she automatically just told me to call head office like she didn't want to deal with it. On a plus note my service at pick up from her was quick and had very little interaction. Also, the lady Amy I dealt with over the phone from head office was very sweet and helped me in more ways than I can express!Stephanie B.

The lady working was not very nice. I called to say I would be late and she was a bit rude on the phone. Then she was rude when we arrived. When I filled out the express check-in form, I never received the box number or code. So I had to call u-haul and was put through to 3 different people before I got help. Then she did something on her end and then I had to redo the express check-in form again. This whole process took almost an hour. Then my contact person wasn't approved so I had to figure out a second contact person. This was a gong show and I hope I don't have to rent a u-haul again for a very ling time!Richelle W.
Most of the lights on the unit did not work, this includes clearance, tail and brake lights. The person at the pick up location checked my lights before I left and claimed they worked prior to leaving. When I check at home they did not. Also the lady had a poor attitude and was snappy when questioned were asked and was not helpful. Rude service to say the least.Steven R.
