We returned the truck around 4pm and there was nobody there and they did not answer their phone. We then used the uhaul.com/share app, we received an error message, stating the problem was on u-hauls end and to try again in a few minutes. We did this multiple times, using my phone and my son's phone. I had the interior pictures on my phone. We tried to call the u-haul 800 number and it took over 30 minutes to get an answer. Overall, over 2 hours just to drop off the truck.

the main issues came up when I returned the truck and had you guys hit my company credit card for $9,254 for no reason. Unauthorized transaction and I almost lost my job because of it, I have used Uhaul about 6 times now and this is officially my last. WILL NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND AGAIN!!!

This facility is a bit smaller than normal, limited equipment to rent, but the employees are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It is the closest facility to our new home so it is prefect for dropping off rentals. It needs to expand its available equipment though.

I have literally walked out of a uhaul place because of sub-par customer service. I have never walked out of a uhaul location/experience and been overly please with the experience. The practicality of the moving trucks is what keeps me coming back. But this experience was wonderful. If all Uhaul places were ran this way, then I'm certain the company would make more money.

First, there was some confusion regarding the dropoff location. On my UHAUL reservation information, the location listed was the ABB Storm Shelter, however, this facility is listed in Google on another nearby street (Porter). I was confused as to whether or not to go to ABB or the Charleston Rd location. We settled on the Charleston location. We poked our head inside the shop because the door was open. The man inside seemed surprised to see us, and the store smelled remarkably like weed. We explained to the man that we were dropping off the trailer, and he just said, "Ok!" It was not reassuring that we were at the right location, but I went along with it and hope I will not receive any further fees!

Truck had a bunch of small bits of moving debris (beads, plastic feet off of furniture, screws) and what looked like concrete dry mix in it. I had to sweep and mop in order to put my stuff in it to move. The location I booked with did not have my size truck so I was called and told to go to a different location. I found this annoying since I had booked well in advance that they could have driven a truck to the correct location. The new location was not the Storm Shelter business that I was told it would be. It was a concert booking business. The lobby was unmanned and was just full of concert posters and guitars. No one was up front, there was no signage to tell me where to go to get the check out done. I had to walk around and ask if I was in the right place, then the U-Haul computers were not working. We had to walk to a different computer. The lady that did help me was very nice. But, I was delayed over an hour due to all of the problems.

Having to jump a curb to access the yard where the trailers are stored is a negative. Suggest having people access from the driveway on the east end of the yard (not jump the curb on the west end).

The location was closed when I went to return the trailer. It took 3 calls to uhaul to get the trailer returned. Uhaul told me they would be open at 10 am. They were not The phone number for that location was not correct.

The late pick up on the day of the move ( the location hours start at 10 am everyday They did get there at 9:15 am) made it difficult to get things coordinated with the movers and made the arrival in Texas late finishing unloading at 9 pm. I had tried to change the pick up to Sunday afternoon, but no one got back with me to pick up the truck until Monday morning. It made everything about the move stressful.

The female agent was excellent and very helpful. The facility was small but effective. I was on a waiting list for a U-Haul trailer but did not have to wait long. I drove 2,000 miles towing this trailer with no problems. I would use U-Haul again and recommend to others.

Due to the service she provided and the professionalism and having everything ready, I will use her location as well as recommend her to other movers

Shea was very helpful and reached out to me because of my earlier unsatisfactory experience with Uhaul. She was kind and offered me several drop-off options as well as provide me with directions to her business to drop off the trailer. Shea receives a 10 out of 10 in customer service (highest rating available). Unfortunately, my overall rating for Uhaul on the entire experience is 3 out of 10 because of the amount of stress, anxiety, and worry that Uhaul put me through starting with your on-line reservation system. I have rented from Uhaul on multiple occasions (at least 5 times before). This, unfortunately was the worst possible experience. Lessons learned: 1. The online Uhaul reservation system in North Dakota cannot keep up with customer demands. This online system gives the customers a false sense of security that their requested item will be available for the requested date. North Dakota is having massive population fluctuations. There are few available trailers (9ft long) in that state. So, this puts the Fargo, ND office in a bind to try and call the customers back (less than 24hours before the customer is going to use the equipment) and explain that Uhaul has no nearby equipment. Please fix this! 2. As a manager of any of the Uhaul offices: stay late to call your customers back. Waiting until the day of the customer's move is unacceptable. I am a surgeon. If I wait until the day of a patient's surgery to announce an alternate plan (that could have been discussed beforehand) it looks unprofessional, the patient may have increased anxiety, and there may be a surgical complication as a result. If the Uhaul manager cannot return customer calls the same day that the customer called her, the manager should have a SENIOR support member from the 24 hour customer support center return the call later that SAME day. Simple. No excuses. 3. Why is the computer not working on the 24 hour Uhaul representative computer? I had this call recorded and requested the transcript. This person is a "safety net" for customers who are running out of options and are getting ready to move. This person's computer absolutely has to work and an investigation needs to happen to determine how often her computer does not work. 4. Finally, the last "safety net" for Uhaul (Emanual) at customer service, 11pm, the night before my move helped solve the problem. Thank God. Why does this routine have to be so painful? Can someone please look at this flow process and figure out why the North Dakota reservation system is so inaccurate? Is this a common finding with other states? I have to move again in 2.5 months to Ohio (and I plan to rent from Uhaul). If I have similar problems, you will be hearing from me again. Thank you.
