I ordered furniture fabric and there wasn't any, I ordered a furniture dollie and appliance dollie and recieved absolutely nothing. My reservation was mixed up with another customer who actually recieved the truck I ordered. I was an hour behind in my move. This was such a huge inconvenience.Wilbart J.
This was an absolutely terrible customer experience. Took an hour just to get on the phone and get someone at the location to acknowledge that this was indeed a U-Haul location. Then upon return was forced to circle the neighborhood for 45 minutes to find street parking for a large truck. Absolutely unacceptable to make customers find street parking for these large vehicles. I will not be recommending this location, instead I will be actively discouraging anyone from using this location. Completely unprofessional.Kiran C.

You can fix whatever is going wrong with the safari browser and the uhaul website and the fact that the website is not able to pick-up the location services despite the web browser saying location services is on. It delayed me picking up my rental over a half hour because the website was not picking up my location.Abigail H.
This location has a lock box approach. I was on hold for 45 minutes with UHaul to get the combination; finally the owner (a good guy) came and called his UHaul contact who gave us the combination. Web site did not state this was lock box only and had the start time as 9:00. I could have picked it up much earlier.Craig J.
Nothing. I have to give U-Haul a lot of credit. I'm old fashioned and like to work with a live person but your fully automated process is really good and efficient. I have rented from you three times now and it has been a pretty good experience each time and this last rental experience was the best.Daren J.
Online process should be easier, if I'm picking up a truck, I shouldn't be waiting on giving alternate phone numbers out for verification. I don't see its purpose. If you want two alternate phone numbers then ask me when I'm booking the truck, not when I'm ready to pickup the truck at the location.Venkata Girish K.
There should be some sort of a sign at this location indicating it is a rental facility. Seeing a few U Haul trucks parked on the street around this run-down gas station is not enough. I completed the rental form on line and then had to reenter all of the same information in the app when I was picking up the vehicle. A real waste of time. Remind the renter that the vehicle number is NOT the license plate number. The vehicle number is marked on the front left corner of the fan. Warn the renter that several steps are required when picking up and dropping off--pictures are needed etc. repeated information must be entered. Have a clearer list of the rental process. The contact-less pickup and drop off worked well. I had no problems at all. The van was new and easy to drive in city traffic.STEPHEN L.

The entire rental experience was horrific. No notification that I would need to download an App in order to complete the rental. No notification that I needed to have an account to complete the rental. Despite completing all fo the online information including uploading my DL, still took forever to get truck. Waited 30 minutes to speak to customer service rep. All could have been avoided by specifically notifying customers of change in procedure ( I checked to complete transaction at counter which is no longer available).Theresa R.

I was told I could not return my truck to the agreed upon location by the local employee. I was directed to a different location for the return. I was yelled at by the clerk at the second location. Tried to call U-Haul national phone number and was on hold for 25 minutes before hanging up. I went back to the original location and left the truck with a very angry employee at that location. I arrived at the pickup location and was not able to access the keys to the truck without having a 40 minute conversation with U-Haul support staff. When I was given the code to unlock the box that held the key - the key was to the wrong vehicle and I had to wait 1 hour for the key to the correct vehicle was located.Adam C.
I specifically requested counter check-in, only to have the mobile check-in as the only option at this location. Process took far too long, the web-based system is clunky and excessive from a user experience aspect. Probably around 10-12 page loads to complete, requires user to upload multiple vehicle photos and also requires location services to be turned on... again, all of this is excessive compared the counter-service. The location DOES NOT have a designated parking spot and since it's a tiny gas station, there were no available spaces upon returning the vehicle.ADAM S.

The mobile pickup was not very user friendly. We waited 30 minutes to pick up the truck because of the process I needed to do to confirm my contract with customer support. Maybe give an estimate as to how long you will need to go through the pick up process. No truck parking. Suggest giving specific parking locations at after hours Dropbox locations. Had to go to N Ogden location after trying to park at 1900 N Dearbon - same issue there. Ended up having to park the truck overnight at a gas pump at the gas station attached.Erwin B.

No staff were available to receive me, even though I showed up during working hours. There was no parking space to drop off the truck legally; I had to park illegally on the side walk next to the building, so it wasn't parked on the street illegally and would have been towed. The parking location on the side of the building is a bit dangerous with trucks from the nearby facility barreling past, especially since I needed to go into the street to get photos of the truck for after-hours checkout. Even though there wasn't a u-haul rep on site, the gas station attendant was friendly and helpful. Van was clean and in great working order.Stephanie M.

The people I dealt with at the dealership were very nice and the vehicle was very well maintained but my experience was ruined because Lisa was very insulting, rude, and unhelpful. I had so many issues with Uhaul. My pickup was relocated to Milwaukee instead of Crivitz, even though the trailers in Crivitz never moved so there were some available. Second, my dropoff location was changed, so I called Uhaul AGAIN to change it to a 24-hour dropoff location and they gave me this location even though I specifically asked if there would be a place for the trailer to go since it was in the middle of Chicago. Imagine that - we get there at 3:30 on Sunday and it's NOT a 24-hr dropoff and there's nowhere to park it so I call AGAIN and the guy tells us to just leave it there with my contract - unlocked and not attached to anything. I took tons of photos so I cannot be screwed over if it was stolen or damaged. I called again once I got home and the woman gave me her email address to send the photos and it was undeliverable when I sent it and she told me, "oh, that wasn't a 24-hr dropoff" ---> Well, I specifically asked on Friday and was told it was. I also asked her for a recording of the conversation since the hold music said you could get a recording if you ask and she said she's never heard of that, but she'd "figure it out and email it to me" - guess what? Never got that either! I never want to order from Uhaul again.Jessie D.

The shop charged my card without my authorization for "new damage". The damage to the truck was of course not new damage, but corrosion (corrosion cannot happen overnight!) to the corner caps that the representative in Charlotte conveniently overlooked. This scheme for repairing damage to existing trucks is a great way to lose customers, and their future revenue. I'll be writing more bad reviews about Uhaul all over the internet unless the charge is removed.Kylar B.
