The people are always very friendly. The shop itself is not very clean or inviting. Also, if you are dropping off after hours you are told to use the app. but it repeatedly tries to connect you to the other location further South on Cerrillos. You could very easily make a mistake and return it to the wrong location and get a surcharge if you aren't a local which is likely a lot of people. We also didn't feel safe dropping it in the back at night. There was broken glass and articles of clothing everywhere. The sign isn't lit at night and is easy to miss. This is our third time renting here and we likely will again because we like to support independent businesses.

Ryan M.Because your website says I can check-in remotely using my phone, I tried doing that when I got the U-Haul parking lot. After wasting 30 minutes of my time trying to check-in with my phone, the U-Haul rep told me they had turned that feature off because the app kept assigning the wrong trucks to customers. Someone should give customers simple and accurate instructions about how to check-in. My advice seems like it should be blatantly obvious to any corporation that's been in business for more that a couple of hours.

Isabella M.It was difficult to refill the gas. The adjacent gas station wasn't functional. I had to drive way down Cerrillos. We returned the vehicle when the office was closed. It was very difficult to make the electronic check-in process work. Going to the website as recommended in print on the contract papers never resulted in anything workable, because the pull-down menu list of available U-Haul locations **didn't include the Able2Scoot site!!** That is a clear glitch the company ought to fix! We finally realized the only way to get to the correct program was through a link in a text message from you. That worked; but the process of photographing the mileage and gas level on the truck's dashboard was difficult, and I never succeeded. Turns out it wasn't needed anyhow. Low marks for a bizarrely complex process that is not well designed.

This is on a Saturday…then we tried to return the trailer to another location and were told there would be an extra fee for not returning it to the original rental store..So I called the 24 hours number and was told to download the app and take pictures of the trailer and then send them to them and I could leave it!!! That was ridiculous but I did it so that I wouldn't be charged for keep it an extra 2 days…not pleased….
