I gave one star only because the gentlemen that assisted us who did not work for U-haul was so helpful. The manager on the other hand, gets no stars. We scheduled a 10am pickup online the week before. We arrived a little early, but no one was there. The truck was not setup yet so we had to wait for the U-haul manager to come. We called and texted the number on the door like it said to. No response. We called several times, and Nothing. The other guys who shares the building come, and he calls the manager as well. After a few trys, he finally answers. He says he 10 minutes away, but he took over 30 minutes. By this time, we had called someone from U-haul which I am assuming was from the head office. He called the manager as well several times before he got anyone. Keep in mind he had yet to arrive. The head office finally reaches him, and he says he on the way. We were on a schedule so this had us very late because now it is 10:30am. Finally, the manager comes walking from around the building looking like he just woke up. So now we had to wait again for him to go in and manually set the truck up. It was about 10:45am before we left there. The manager also stated that he would give us a discount because he was late. I sincerely hope to see this on my credit card bill. When I last looked on my U-haul account, I did not see the discount. We drove over an hour only to still have to wait around almost another hour. This was our first time renting a U-haul truck, and it was a terrible experience. The U-haul custermer service, and head quarters person was the only silver lining.crystal F.

They billed me two months later for return of trailer (and the days in between). After looking on yelp accidentally, I noticed that another renter had the same problem, only a month before me. I am completely frustrated at trying to get my money back. I would recommend people using uhaul ONLY pay in cash and do not use this branch.Christine S.
The lock on the back of the truck was difficult to open. The code word had to be just right. Also the code word sent in the picture for the online self check in was incorrect. Had to call customer service for help. This painful as well. 45 mins just for someone to answer. Icing on the cake was gas in truck was empty. Loved to see that. This was the worst self check in ever. Highly do not recommend this place.Mark T.

Not the company's fault, but the location was closed on a Saturday, which was the day of our reservation. Uhaul should periodically update their locations hours so customers aren't burdened by waiting for equipment and vehicles at a closed business.RACHEL S.
The only problem I had was that the tires were low on pressure. I aired them up and all else was greatFERRELL M.
To improve the experience with next customer, I'd say you cut ties with this location, but you're not gonna do that. At least hold this location accountable for not answering phones or returning calls. I was overcharged after two months of my contract. It's been 4 months and the location has not been able to help me. I've called at least 60 times. If you do not help your customers, why are you even running a business in the first place. Luckily uhaul customer service was helpful enough for escalate this issue.Pushpen S.

Was told to find a spot to park the the trail and unhook the trailer myself and put the paper work on the desk and they would get to it when someone came in. Additionally, this location double billed me for the rental. Not sure why since I was allotted 2 days for the rental and it was turned in right at 24 hours of picking it up. Trailer door seemed to have a rusty track or something, a little hard to operate. Also getting disconnected was a bit of a pain but fortunately the guy at the store was there when we were returning about 11 PM and helped us get it off the hitch. Not sure if the hitch had a problem or it it was just the way we were positioned.John S.

Rent clean equipment that has been maintained to generally accepted standards. Also, instruct the sales clerk to be more precise when explaining the refueling policy. I was charged for gasoline even though I returnJulian D.
I was double charged on this rental twice the amount of the truck and insurance everything and then the guy put insurance on it without asking if I wanted it or not and then when I brought up the double charge he said of yeah it shouldn't have done that then ask me if I could come back the next day for my refund and I came back the next day he said that he didn't have any cash in the business office and and to come back later that day so I left and came back he wasn't there and had close the business early then text me that I would receive my refund in mail and I never got anything this was very bad and never received service like that before I will never go back to that location and I would really appreciate my refund of over chargeApril D.

The truck smelled horribly of smoke. Then when I returned it in Charlotte the building was empty. then he called me and said the truck was dirty and charged me $25.00 clean up. I protested but he said to bad. Plus the the truck had 3qtr tank full whe I picked up. I filled the whole tank and he still said to bad. I want my $25.00 back or I will use budget for now on.John D.

My appt time was for 9:00 am and the lady who was supposed to be there didn't show up until almost 10:00 am Thankfully there was a gentleman who was with UHaul from a different location dropping off a trailer that helped me out.DONNA C.

I want to say that my experience with U Hual had to be the most frustrating this time. I was sent to Denham Springs, LA for my original reservation to be tolf it was in Baton Rouge. When I went to 2nd location, was told that it was not there but, on Airline Hwy. I went to that location, got the trailer on to be called back because of some paperwork issues. I could rate this less than what I have but, the young women at each site were so apologetic and helpful.Richard R.
