When I picked up the 6 x 12 trailer, there was a young man that hooked it up but didn’t really seem to know what he was doing. He actually put the wrong ball on so the trailer did not pull right. It went back-and-forth so when I got to Ocala, I had to stop everything had to be unhooked and redone. I asked this young man more than once if he knew what he was doing he assured me that he did he didn’t even know where the chain was. He was trying to take apart a different area of the chain and then he said oh dummy it’s back here so he grabbed it from back there and hooked it up and I said there’s too much chain hanging on the ground that just doesn’t look right so anyway I was not happy. I did call the store manager talked to Chris. He said he was going to refund me back, but I do not believe that I ever got that he apologized and I told him that they need to do more training with this young man I mean my U-Haul was loaded and it had to be undone and put on the right ball I could’ve flipped that thing and gotten into a bad accident all because it was hooked on the wrong ball so no, I am not a happy camper

Great overall experience from start to finish
Michael GThis was my second time at this location. The first time, I dropped a truck off that I rented. One of the employees of Ace Hardware, was extremely rude. I understand some things can slip through the cracks. The car hauler bounced the whole time, even shaking my truck. When I had to take the trailer off of my truck, I found out the hard way, someone had put an extra long bolt on the handle. It took a chunk of skin from my arm.
Deke WThe reservation process was very easy. The staff answered all my questions. Check out and check in went smoothly. All in all it was a great experience. I have need for another rental reservation. It will be easy when I am ready to rent again.
SHERRIE GTrailer was waiting for me when I arrived and the paperwork was done quickly. An employee hooked up the trailer for me and checked the lights and off I went in a very short time. When I returned the trailer, the process was exactly the same and I was finished and headed home very quickly. Highly recommend this location.

Raymond SThe store was fine, although they did not have the appliance dolly, I had reserved, nor did they have a substitute. I was forced to buy a dolly from their store. My biggest issue is with U-Haul themselves not having accurate information on their website as to which store had which equipment available, and then when they change my reservation, switching it to an agency that still did not have the equipment I needed.

No explanation just told us take it or leave it. I have never encountered store representatives this rude. They are a terrible representation of U Haul.

JOHN PI added gas just a few blocks before the drop off location and was charged for two gallons of gas. I know I returned the truck with more gas than when I picked the truck up. I would not trust the people working at this location. It was not a lot of money but it makes you question how often do they do this to their customers.

Make sure that when someone calls the eight hundred number that they are given the same information each time, they call the eight hundred number. It should not depend on which person you talk to as to what you pay. The people in store are not helpful when it comes to figuring things out.

Russ MAuto transport trailer was in very poor condition. In fact, it was out of order. My Sonata 2020 has regular size tires. 1. When I have driven it to on auto transport trailer, it turns out that there no clearance between my car bumper and the front part of auto transport trailer against which the wheels of a car rest. When I needed to unload my car from auto transport trailer and drove it back the bumper of my car got caught and was torn out from my car. This trailer is not suitable for transporting Hyundai Sonata 2020 car with regular size tires. 2. The ratchets were out of order, and it took long time to make the tire straps work. 3. I am not satisfied with you service this time.

William JThe truck was not ready and at first I was told they didn’t have a truck available, but eventually they made it happen. They had no packing material available and it was a hardware store. It would have been nice to purchase bubble wrap, boxes etc.
