My disappointment with Uhaul continues. My last experience resulted in a $50 refund as nobody was there to rent me a truck. Ace Hardware helped me but still charged me for insurance I DID NOT opt for on my reservation. This experience was again with Ace Hardware and all seemed well but for the truck being dirty when I drove it away and now I am being billed some additional fee that I will be going in person tomorrow to discuss with them as they NEVER MAILED me a receipt to begin with. Not real sure you want my feelings about Uhaul at this time.

You say that you support the military but you don't offer discounts to them at your locations. So you only support them if it does not involve you losing money, good to know. Also if you turn it early you still don't take anything off even though you can then re rent the vehicle

It took 3 young men to get the paperwork/keys. They didn't offer any information or advice/suggestions, even when I said this was my first time to rent. When I picked up, the gas tank was 3/4 full, I returned it at 3/4, but was charged $75 - they said I didn't return it on full. I sent a picture of the mileage and gas tank, but still had to pay...

Not sure how long they had the vehicle, but windshield was filthy. Not just dust. Bugs and road grime. Parked under large trees, so large black ants were inside the cab of the van.

I had a reservation and was to pick up the uhaul a Knights Inn in Franklin at 9AM. When I got there they did not have my uhaul and I had to drive 25 miles away to pick up a truck from a different location. This cost me 50 miles extra. When I called to speak to a manger I was on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever answered the phone. Very bad experience.

Air Conditioning did not work. Fan for the cab did not work. Clerk claimed he was unable to adjust the rental rate to reflect that the cab broiled me on an 90 degree day.

I needed a oneway truck for moving son to college. Having to return the truck to this location blew my budget and with mileage and gas i spent close to $700. Not happy. Truck was fine.

Ace Hardware in Lebanon helped me out in a jam. My reservation (Guaranteed) was for the Barrett's Marathon Station in South Lebanon. I got there at the pick up time to find the place empty, with a note on the door saying "Sorry, out with the wrecker. Back soon." Needless to say, I will never use Barrett's Marathon for anything and I question the purpose of a "Guaranteed Reservation" if they are unable to fulfill it.

The truck was difficult to use. I couldn't move the drivers seat forward. It was stuck where it was. I am on the shorter side so I had to fully extend my leg to reach the peddles. Also, when I would try to turn the truck back on, it wouldn't. The key wouldn't turn. I had to move things around to try and get it to turn on.

Stop using Armor All (or whatever they use) to clean the floors. It makes them very slippery While driving, there's no way to “plant” your foot. It also tracks everywhere. It got in the cargo hold and made getting in and out dangerous. It also tracked into my house, causing me to fall. I hit my head on a corner, resulting in a large abrasion on my neck and ear. It still hurts to open my mouth. I have a large contusion on my hip that is also swollen. Additionally, I hit my shoulder, leg and wrist. My son also had a close call getting out of the van. I wouldn't rent from U-Haul again because of it. You need to minimally use non skid floor mats. The hard surface flooring may be easy to keep clean, but it's dangerous.

when displaying width of payload perhaps mention that it is partially obstructed by the gas tank so someone planning to transport a pallet can be aware of whether they can fit the pallet

The 6x12 trailer had damage inside. The lights were pushed in on the back. I had to go in and show them the damage. I asked them to note the damage. The just told me to take pictures. I was also told if I brought it back early I would / might depends on how early get a credit back on my bill. So I returned it early around the time I talked about with the first guy. The old cranky guy. Said NO WE DONT GIVE DISCOUNTS for early returns. Who told you that. I said your employee yesterday. He said well I will have to talk to him. No concern about me the customer. Also he didn't check to see if I even brought back the trailer. Just went by my word. Didn't check for inspection.just didn't care.

It would have nice if they would have told us the ball size. I assumed that it was going to be 2&5/16 ball since 2” ball is generally rated for 5,000#. I was towing a car trailer and I'm sure fully loaded was over 5,000#. The online tool was particular about what the tow vehicle and what I was towing. Telling me the ball sizer would have been appreciated.

I wasn't happy with being charged the $14 insurance fee for both days. This was the third location without appliance dollies, yet uhaul online still lets you add it to your order. All locations said they couldn't get them, hadn't seen them in months. The rental truck itself was in good shape and we were happy to have it.

The location was not open. The Salem Ave person said I needed to return the truck before 8:55 the next day. I assumed that there would be a big parking lot to be able to leave the truck. This was not the case. When I got there to return the truck, the gate was closed and locked before 3:10 pm on Saturday, I waited 25 minutes on the phone, to get someone to help me determine what to do with the truck. I had to drive farther away. Our evening plans had to change because of the extra time required to return the truck.

They did a really good job of checking us in quickly and getting us on the road. I needed to leave my car there while we moved for a few hours and there was plenty of parking to do that. The associates were easy to work with. After hours return was easy. They did a good job and made a stressful situation a little easier. If it stays just like it is and doesn't change, things will be good. Thanks.

I am not sure why I have to keep rejecting insurance and sign both on line and in again in person. There was other requested information at the time I arrived that had already been provided on line. Very redundant and time wasting.

The moving blankets were wet and they didn't have enough. I had requested two dolly's and the two that were provided, although not the right ones, were sufficient. The gentleman did take money off for not having the right dolly's and did remove a bundle of blankets from the total cost. Overall, I would rent from this location again.

Issues with trailer - 1) Top right brake light no secure in trailer. Customer improved security of light. 2) Top right red running light did not operate. 3) Trailer had dirty foot prints inside. Trailer had not been swept out prior to current rental. 4) When picking up trailer, asked for tester to verify vehicle electrical connection was working properly. Tester used showed no power coming out of vehicle. Had vehicle checked at another Uhaul super center where it showed vehicle was good on two testers. Vehicle powered trailer lights and then when checked again at rental location, tester again showed no power. This cost me time and mileage to check. Will only use Uhaul super centers from now on.
