This dealer is such a cheat that.. he never give the U-Haul truck with full gas tank. We always return the vehicle after filling the gas for the miles we drove, but he simply charge extra money stating gas is less. This kind of mess or confusion will not happen if he gives the vehicle with full tank. When we call him to discuss about why I was charged more even after filling the fuel. Only answer we get from this dealer is to call customer care service to raise dispute. Why do we have to go through all this even though the vehicle properly. Hope this review helps others.SURYA M.

This experience was only below average because of a truck breakdown by another customer, and thus I had to wait one hour to receive another truck. It was frustrating, though in the end it worked out. The staff at this location were very concerned with me about this and did what they could, and in a very personable manner.David V.
Ques2: truck was clean and it didn't break down, which is all I want, but the mechanics of the engine/computer probably has some problems. Taking all the photos at return was a bit muchâ€¦ Perhaps add a reminder on app to drop key in drop box if facility is closed. Website could explain rental options more clearly: one way vs. in town in regards to guaranteed pick up locations. Otherwise, for the reasonable price and I had good experiences with various staff at traffic and at Pick up Site, I was happy overall.JAY G.

The location was fine in general but our pick up location was changed on us at last minute and that added another 16 miles to our trip that we had to pay for. We wouldn't of had to if the original pick up location was kept. Also, we had to redo the pictures of the drivers license stuff and all that info in person when we picked up though we had already done it all online in advanced. So it didn't save any of the info. And When it changed our Pick up location it still said to pick up at 9 am but the new place didn't open untill 11 am so that wasn't the best experience. It was incredibly stressful to arrive and have to work through your confusing on-line check in system. In addition to having to add location services , it also required additional identification that was not clearly stated at the time of reserving. You need to prepare people to have a passport or even a friend's phone. Also, even though I had my own phone in the reservation when I tried to enter it with my driver's license it said it had already been used and would not let me continue. I was in tears and completely distraught as time was wasting. Fortunately, your customer service people didn't make us wait TOO long to answer and talk us through the situation, that was honestly a mess because of our situation not knowing anyone well enough to hand out their phone number to you and not having our passport with us - why would anyone bring their passport if not expressly told to??. The man at Acorn storage where we picked up the rental, Lenny, I think, was also an angel. You should pay him more for his dedication to getting the trucks checked in and ready.Elizabeth H.

The online and phone Uhaul experience was terrible. Acorn site was perfect. But online reservation process and ensuing cancellation/ rebooking/ transferred calls. Uhaul is the price leader which is good, because 90% of the customer experience was horrible. To reiterate Acorn site was perfectly fine.Matthew R.

The truck was dirty inside the cab and bed w/ peoples things they have left in there, a crack on the front right of the windshield i asked about but was dismissed on, the mileage was put in wrong so my 30 mile trip when dropping off turned into 990 miles due to an error on their part.Madyson B.

I had a reservation at Bauer's originally. I took a Lyft there and they didn't have a truck for me.On top of that they were rude about it.Then I was sent far away from that location needed to pay for a 2nd Lyft ride there.The guy at the 2nd location was not very understanding of my drama trying to get a truck and could use customer service training from the lady at the return location.Inconsistent service from U haul has me questioning my upcoming reservation. Submitted reservation for 15' truck about 7 weeks out from pickup. Verified reservation twice within week of pickup. Day before proceeding to Grand Forks received call from agent truck not available. Had to change pickup location to Fargo, ND. Fortunately, we were proceeding through Fargo on way to GFKS. Truck was Good except for Side mirrors unable to adjust so difficult to see.Paul B.

The online check-in was a rather frustrating experience it took an hour on the phone with U-Haul before I was finally able to download a different browser, Firefox, and get everything to work. Close to the end of that hour the gentleman running the Mini Storage arrived to open the facility. He was very kind and very accommodating not to mention empathetic with my frustration. Again when I brought the van back he was just really nice and made the whole experience a lot better. The van was very clean it was pretty much brand new everything worked great I just wish there was some sort of a way to test that your phone is working with the website or the Uhaul app appropriately prior to actually sitting there waiting to get pick up the vehicle and your phone can't communicate your location because the browser settings won't work.Christina H.
