I ordered pads and dolly but they didn't. However, all of them were charged and the insurance was charged for the amount I had never ordered. I waited for more than 15 minutes because of the late preparation for the truck, and they said 15 -minute return but they over charged . Worst service.

Dominga RThe trucks are too old. I was unable to adjust the mirrors on the truck so I was literally driving blind. The place itself is good and the employee was helpful but I think the trucks need to be inspected regularly and taken off the road if they have faulty equipment.

Tony OHaving rented Uhaul trucks for over 10 years, for some reason here I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone, having three other people verify they know me by phone. I wasn't able to inspect the inside of the truck and mileage before "approving" them - because the shop wouldn't give me the keys until I had. We didn't get the packing blankets we asked for and the shop said they didn't know anything - they just had the keys.
John KThis was a bad experience picking up the UHaul. Based on what the UHaul website and the customer service specialist who called to confirm my reservation had said - that this was a UHaul service center from which I could get the truck as well as rent any moving supplies I needed - I arrived and found to my complete dismay that this was not the case at all. This was a gas station, not a UHaul rental facility. The only thing that went right was that that the UHaul was parked there. The gas station attendant was confused and very visibly flustered that I showed up, as per the contract, to rent the truck. He had no moving supplies whatsoever to offer to assist the move, which was hugely disappointing and created a problem for me to solve after I left. The gas station attendant had to simultaneously attend to his own customers while calling up UHaul on his cell phone to figure out what to do about serving me. Either UHaul's app or the internet in the gas station were not functioning correctly, so even though I did my part correct in scanning my ID on my phone to rent the UHaul, the scan didn't go through on their system, meaning I had to wait for over 20 minutes while a UHaul "Dispatcher" drove out to problem-solve. He was eventually able to scan my ID on his phone and get me squared away, minus the rental supplies that I had expected. Altogether, I found the experience frustrating in terms of confusion from the staff, lack of expected supplies to rent, and how very long the process took.

Hanoka BMake the return directions less confusing. You changed my return site and they were closed. I was unaware of that procedure until I tried to call uhaul and was on hold for 20 min. Finally I found the drop box.
Gladys SThere shouldn’t be ANY REASON WHY MY CAR WAS CHARGED 128 the truck was 1995. Not NOT 29.95 and filled the table back up exactly how it was so there is not reason to charge me 79 miles for gas when I only had the truck for 2 1/2 hrs

GEOFFREY LI had originally requested a pickup at a location in Groton, CT at 0930. I was called the day prior and told that because it was already booked by someone else (even though the website let me book it weeks ahead) that they would have to change my location and time. When I got the truck finally none of the extra stuff that I payed for like the dolley or moving blankets were in the back of the truck. I dont know if this is the owner of the stores fault or U-Haul but it was very annoying, especially since I booked this ahead of everything and paid for those items.

Michael KI will never used a third party uhaul location ever again, these people at this citco location are running a VERY shady operation. I had reserved my truck online, I only had to pick it up. Guy behind the counter made me redo my reservation on his phone and increased the payment and even included insurance when I said no, and also I personally opted out on the online reservation. Upon returning the truck, a different person was behind the counter and they acted dumb, they had no clue what I was explaining to them to reverse what they had done. I ended up calling customer service which I never got a response from anyways. While returning the truck I was charged for returning the truck with less gas lol when I clearly returned it with even more gas than I picked it up with! All in all this was a EXTREMELY shady place to say the least. I will never use them again and to whoever reads this. I would certainly revoke this place from uhaul as they are forcing people to redo their reservation and charging them more!
LUIS BThe order was not processed correctly and the store clerk was unable to help me complete the truck rental. HOWEVER Joshua FADDEN came to the rescue. He drove to the site and corrected the order. He was courteous, pleasant, and made it a more acceptable situation. He is fantastic! Thanks again Josh!
