There was no gas in truck and the app was not working so got truck later than supposed to and caused delays. Plus had to immediately put gas in truck spending extra money

Neal NSince our reserved truck wasn't available at the Citrus / I-10 location we had to go to Buckeye to get a truck. "We'll lower the mileage rate to .99." Um, okay. We're obviously at the mercy of the company because we've planned and are in the middle of this life event. This TRIPLED our expense! What a scam. I will never do this again. Goodbye to U-Haul forever.

Heriberto RLied through their teeth when I attempted to pick up my 26’ truck 30 min after my 7:00 AM pickup time. At 7:29 they informed me that they had given the truck to the next person in line so I would have to pick something up from another location. The website says I have an hour. They said I have an hour before they cancel, but only 15 minutes before they can give the truck to someone else and reroute me to another pickup location. The other location didn’t open until 9:00, and I didn’t have transport from one to the other. As you can probably imagine this isn’t something I’ll be doing again, or recommending to anyone.
Michael RCargo space was filthy. Had to borrow a broom to sweep out all of the dirt and hay. It was stated on the contract the vehicle had a full tank, but it had barely 3/4. The tire pressure sensor was defective. The steering wheel was filthy, and the rubber was sticky and gooey. Driver seat springs were worn out. The vehicle had not been cleaned anywhere. Windshield was very dirty inside and out. The Windshield wiper fluid was empty.
Eric LAlison was awesome!! She made our pickup experience great! She was so easy to talk to, and made us laugh the whole time! I'll definitely be picking up all my future uhaul trucks from her! 100% recommend!! The only issue we had was the internet wasn't working great for the app to pickup and drop off, but Alsion got us sorted out on pickup and I called the uhaul number upon drop off as it was outside business hours of the drop off location, but even that worked out ok. Gilberto EThe U-Haul transmission is bad. The truck only let me do 20 miles per hour. Didn't get to pick up and move my items I had to turn around and return the truck. Customer service line to get help, didn't help.

David LWorst uhaul service I have ever had I will never use uhaul again. I got a one way truck and because the person who did my reservation put it as in town I had to pay 230 dollars because they charged me for wrong return location even tho it was clearly a one way truck I got punished for an employees mistake. I spoke to a rep and she said that the regional manager said to waive the charge but then got re routed to the reservation manager who said there is nothing that can be done and it is impossible to over ride the mistake apparently there is no one in uhaul who has access to over ride there own mistakes they made even tho the uhaul I tried to return it to showed me that it was entered as a one way that could be dropped off at any location. I've used uhaul for years and have been satisfied for years until now also I would not recommend using a contracted uhaul company because if they make a mistake uhaul will not fix the issue the Tempe office was amazing and noha did everything he could to help me but his corporate office did not care or was concerned with the customers service or fixing an obvious mistake made by a contractors mistake and Deb is horrible at customer service did not listen to anything I asked and I got charged due to her mistakes
