The woman checking us out left us repeatedly to do other things and did not focus much on us. She gave us someone else’s contract which we did not notice until we reached our destination and needed to return it. Additionally, the uhaul they provided had a broken windshield.
KEVIN JI was treated very poor by location they when asked to extend rental and they demanded me to return trailer said I could not extend rental I would like to talk to someone about this

Truck to someone else and they no longer had the truck for me. I had to go with the 10ft. Truck. Very unprofessional. When you make a reservation well over a week in advance.. don’t call up day before and say, sorry gave to someone else!

I had to go purchase one for 70$ as there was not a local u haul there. When I said something upon returning the trailer, the cashier was VERY rude about it. I rent trailers often but will NEVER rent from this location again

JESSE KThe information for renting is misleading. I rented the uhaul cargo van for what I thought would be $19.99 per day plus the insurance and road hazard. I knew I would probably have to put gas in it and at where our was when I picked it up. Even when I was at the store, getting the van, the contract was done but NO EXPLANATION was given that there would be a "per mile charge!!" The only thing mentioned to me was that I would need to make sure I brought it back with the same amount of gas that was in it when I picked it up (which, by the way was under 1/2 tank!!!) I only found out that I would be charged PER MILE when I got to my destination that day, looked at my bank account and noticed the $200.00 extra that was taken out of my account!!!!! ONLY at that time, did the person on the other end then tell me about the "per mile charge" and at that time it was too late as I was at my daughter's and too far away to just bring it back!!! No transparency and misleading advertisement. I have and will continue to spread this word around. This is unethical and bad business.

Elizabeth KI can’t think of anything that needs to be improved. The rental agents were professional and knowledgeable. The entire transaction was seamless. The car hauler I rented was in excellent condition, easy to load and unload. It was quiet and vibration free. I will definitely use U haul again and will recommend this location to anyone that needs to rent a truck, trailer or car hauler. Five star service.

But not aims.Zero. very disappointed. No uhauls available in or near Rochester or hornell cmon now complete bullshit so I took a 15 ft truck. Zero discounts and the manager did not give a shit. That's all I got.

Star TI only drove my U-Haul rental truck 11 miles and I cleaned it out thoroughly yet was charged $25 cleaning fee. That’s ridiculous. I have a storage unit there as well…which I’ll be emptying soon. Could possibly reconsider future rentals due to the overcharge on cleaning.

David RI was very pleased with Hornell. The young man that got our uhaul found the neck of trailer was bent, so immediately switched us to diff trailer. The drop off location is a complete diff story! Gated drop off with Noone there & no info that it's a unmanned drop off. Noone showed up to location for a 1030 appt w other customers. Had 3 customers waiting on Saturday. Finally we got the gate code from another customer & we unhooked & left, wasted 2 hours of the day w our out of state family waiting for uhaul.

Michael CThe tire on the trailer had a broken belt causing it to have a v shape to it rather than a u shape causing it to bounce when rolling. I drovea short ways and turned back. On reporting this the staff was very helpful and within a half hour I drove off with a larger trailer for the same price.
