I have no issue with Aims. I do have a major issue between U-Haul's website and the U-Haul dealers in Western New York. We used the U-Haul website to reserve a 5x8 trailer to be picked up at 10 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 29 in Lockport, NY and we received a message that we would receive a call at 6:00PM the day before. At 6:00 PM on the 28th we received the call, but they didn't have a trailer available in Lockport, NY at all. I was told a trailer would become available at 6:00PM on the 29th in Buffalo, NY. This was no good for us as it did not meet our needs or expectations for our reservation. We had been driving long distance from out-of-state to move some furniture and personal belongings and needed the trailer earlier in the day to get it loaded. I was hot... I asked if a trailer might be available anywhere nearby and no trailer anywhere close. The gentleman I was talking with was able to locate a 5x8 trailer down in Hornell, NY as the closest location so I requested it be reserved for us. The big issue here was the long drive to Hornell just to pick up the trailer over 2-hours away, and then turn around and drive back with the trailer thus losing significant time we had intended to use to load the trailer. I am not happy that the website indicated a trailer had been reserved for us and come to find out there was no trailer available at the last minute.

Unit had rusty latches to tie down the front tire. Almost impossible to tighten up. When time to take off, needed pliers to get ratchet to work. This trailer should be retired or upgraded. Don't give to another customer. Beyond that, Uhaul representative failed to secure the auto transport to the tow vehicle so that when I started to load the vehicle on th trailer, the supposedly locked hitch lock failed and lifted the hitch about 4 feet until I stopped loading the vehicle. The excuse I got was that the locked seemed tight although it was not.. Rep came out and tightened the lock further. Luckly, the auto transport did not damage my tow vehicle.

I had a great time reserving the uhaul, checking it in, and returning it! Staff was so friendly and helpful, and operation of the vehicle was completely reasonable. I had a small issue with my receipt which was also quickly resolved. It was an extremely pleasant experience, which is such a relief considering the huge headache of moving! Thanks Uhaul!

Usually everything is is clean and equipment locked to sides, but this time we had to clean the truck before used it due to dirt and trash in the back. We didn't use the ramp but pulled it out to sweep off and it was covered.

The van ran well and was perfect for what we needed. The inside cab and the windshield Inside and out was filthy tho. For the price paid for this, i shouldn't have to clean it before using it so I could see out the windshield well. I was disappointed by that.

One of the right sully tired had a big slice in the tire by the rim. I originally ordered a 12' trailer; then they gave me a 15' truck so now I have to go back and pick up my personal truck. Then they limited my miles and my house was farther away from what they limited. So they charges me extra for more miles. This is the second time in the same month they messed up my reservations. Sour experience.

The change the oil message was a bit disconcerting, but the staff assured me that this had already been done. Also, I was not able to figure out where the milage indicator was. But aside from these small things, the experience was great.

The individual who served us was very friendly and took his time to explain the process and walked us out to see the truck. He showed us where to return the key when we dropped the truck off after hours. This was my first time renting a truck. I appreciate the time he took to make sure I was comfortable and understood the process. Great job! He also explained about the boxes and other services that are available. I will definitely return!

I didn't want the extra insurance and I specified that when I made the reservation. The paperwork was not shown to me until after everything was ran on my card. It was when I was reading it I saw that I was charged for it anyways rather than being offered the opportunity to sign a waiver to decline it... other than that everything was excellent, the customer care was excellent customer service was excellent great attitude clean environment everything was well-maintained really appreciate all the help I would definitely recommend this place of business.

The staff at the desk was very helpful and accommodating and even helped me clear off ice and snow off of the van. I would definitely recommend this location for people I know who will rent in the future. On a side note the staff at tinkertown hardware were also very helpful in finding me an available vehicle.

I ordered a tow dolly from the tinker town location originally online. They sent me a confirmation email saying it was reserved for me. So I show up the next day they said my reservations had been moved to Hornell location. I call Uhaul 800 number and talk to someone and they said it was uhauls fault and they was going to give me back $50 for inconvenienting me. I said ok. Went to Hornell got my tow dolly. Made me an hour late to where I was going. Use the dolly take it back. Get up the next morning and see an email from Uhaul telling me they are not giving me the $50 they said they would the day before. So now I have to argue with them to try to get the money they said they would give me back.LIKE THEY PROMISED!
