I don’t remember the gentleman’s name that ran the place but he was very kind. I tried to rent a U-Haul from another location the day before and they called me to tell me the truck would not be back until 1:30 PM instead of 1. No big deal, I could go at 1:30. At 1:30 I showed up and the truck was not there. The next day I called this location which was a Sunday and he said he had a truck available and would book it for me right over the phone. He made the process very easy explained how everything worked and gave me tips and tricks to drive the truck since I had never driven a U-Haul before. Overall it was a great experience.

Julie RTruck needed swept out in cabin area. Parking brake was inoperable. The handle was loose from the lower dash. This could be a safety issue and possibly a motor vehicle violation.

Julie RPickup location was fantastic, the gentlemen there (John I believe was his name) was extremely helpful as he noticed I was having issues with the U-Haul App on my phone. We also changed the pick-up time and there was absolutely no hitch.! I would LOVE to comment on the overall "reservation" part of this process, it is frustrating to say the least, I reserved the truck a week in advance, received a confirmation number, but when I called to confirm, I was told "we can't guarantee your truck will be available when and where you want it. LAST time I reserved a truck the same thing happened . . .and I did NOT get one thru the system, they literally left me high and dry!!

Jamie CThe rental pick up location was great, no issues with them. Your app however made my drop off take an hour, had to call support and they advised me to use the website instead of the app as it has bugs and site runs smoother.

Cassidy SThis location is dirty and unkempt. It's an old farmhouse, the guy running it sleeps upstairs and is fairly rude. There is another location 2 miles west that is exponentially cleaner and more professional, I'd suggest going there instead.

MILES MThe U-Haul app is quite likely the worst customer service experience that I've had...twice now. It doesn't work. Why exactly can't I take pictures of my license, sign agreements, etc.before I get to the pickup location? The owner/operator was at least willing to help this time. The other time he couldn't be bothered because he was too busy. My advice, scrap the app until your IT can upgrade the system to actually be beneficial and make these lazy owners work!

Sarah BNothing. I had to talk to John 3 times between picking up my trailer in Michigan and arriving in Ohio due to the trailer being late and then the truck overhead door failing, he was always patient and helpful; he was the same in person once I arrived.
