Truck was dirty inside and out. Needed truck for one more day and no accommodation was offered. I would have even taken a smaller truck and paid for it. Traveling from western NY to Southwestern Va, I had to stop 3 times to try to locate a service station with air compressor because the right rear tire continuously was losing air pressure. Trailer worked fine but it was a real inconvenience to have to always keep an eye on the tire.Dennis K.

Fix the system. I received multiple errors trying to use the after hours system. "low memory, transaction not performed" . The service wait time 64 minutes, then call back was cut off ! I waited another 34 minutes for "the next available rep". Horrible experience. Will never use after hours again. The truck and site worked, not the system.James L.

The trailer had to be picked up about 20 miles from the requested site. The trailer was not inspected. We immediately noticed a noise that we diagnosed as the tires but about 600 miles into our 1200 mile trip, a wheel bearing failed due to lack of grease. Thanks to a great service man that was contacted by your Hillsborough NC office, we only lost one day of travel time. The remaining part of the trip was uneventful and return at the Palm Bay facility was great.Raymond G.

The only issue was that the trailer was not available at the location I initially selected. I ended up having to drive 25-30 minutes to pick it up rather than the 10-15 minutes it would have been otherwise. Fortunately, I was allowed to pick it up the night before I was supposed to pick it up (early in the morning) which mitigated the longer drive.Scott N.

Uhaul employees did not show up until 9:15 despite an opening time of 9:00am. No explanation of any sort was given. Sign on door said need a mask for entry. All customers, including myself, wore a mask but counter person did not. When asked why he is not wearing a mask, no response was given. Will never use this location again. I was quoted 69 free miles on the phone. Upon arrival I was given 51 free miles.Romulus D.

I don't often rent from Uhaul but I felt I've had better customer service at other locations. I chose this location because of its proximity to my home. the guy at the desk seemed as though I interrupted his day by taking my reservation. the interior of the truck wasn't completely dirty nor was it clean. but my biggest complaint was that we ordered an appliance cart to assist in loading a heavy refrigerator only to find out that they didn't have any on-site and I wasn't informed earlier before my arrival. so I ended up being late to get the appliance by having to figure out another method to get the refrigerator on the truck.Matthew R.

We had a reservation for 9 am on a Sunday using mobile pickup because location was closed. We were given a picture and told We would find the trick to the right of the entrance. It wasn't there. We called the number provided and was told, " That hairball, you'll have to pick up at another location (20 mls away) with no reinforce for the additional miles. My husband thankfully thought to drive to other side of entrance and we found the truck. Then the fresh hell of completing the online pickup ensued... Noone was responding to chat to verify reservation... and they said they needed a passport or signed lease agreement to verify me (not driver's license?) Since my alt contract wasn't answering. (Because she was moving boxes waiting for truck to arrive) WHO CARRIES THESE THINGS AROUND WITH THEM? WHY isn't verification part of the pre reg process we did the night before? .... you've got my DL, credit card, etc! We called customer service and waited 18 min before call was answered and she said she had to transfer me... and I waited another 15 minutes.... AN HOUR LATER we finally were on the road. Moving is stressful enough. This process made it unbearable.Raymond J.

The location was fine. I called customer service due to the truck that I needed being at a location 20 miles away. I waited on hold for an hour. I ended up taking the 20' truck that they had on site. I find it unacceptable the presidence set by your company is for a customer to drive an additional 40 miles at $.99 a mile to pick up a truck that you have a reservation for at a set location. Your service was an inconvenience costing me both time and money. In the future I will utilize another truck service and recommend to others they do the same. I hope that someone does take it upon themselves to rectify my experience.Ian S.

This is the second time U-Haul has changed locations on where I NEEDED to pick up a trailer. I NEEDED the trailer for Sunday so I selected the Orchard Park location because the had Sunday hours and was only 5 minutes for my house. HOWEVER you sent me on a 30 minute trip to a location that DID NOT have Sunday hours. Too bad you have a monopoly on trailer rentals because I would go somewhere else.donald S.
