Dear Sir or Madame, To follow up, pickup time was 8:00AM. When I arrived at the location at Sunoco gas stations at24539 US 23 Circleville, OH 43113. The mgr of the gas station and the U-Haul rep was was 10 min late. He spent another 10-15 min opening the store and then proceeded to start the U-Haul transaction. There was gentlemen in front who stated he schedule self check in but nothing was in place for him. The mgr was ill prepared as he had to look and find our reservations on his phone. Once we finally got through the check in the mgr gave me dolly and told me the truck was over there point in the direction of the trucks. I found my truck opened the rollup door and found the inside condition of the van to be a mess. broken glass was litter throughout the inside of the van. I took a picture and then went back to tell the mgr it needed cleaned up. After some frustration on his part he did go out and cleaned the inside and promptly told me he would be charging the previous driver a fee. Which I retorted, shouldn't you have inspected the truck after it was checked in?" As this caused me a further delay of another 10 to 15 min. I am typically not a person that calls out poor performance but - 1. showing up late. 2. Opening your store causing additional delays 3. Not being prepared who was picking up trucks. I figure Saturdays are a pretty heavy volume day. 4. The broken glass in the back of the van. 5. The poor attitude from the mgr when reporting the found condition 6. Telling me he's going to charge the previous drive an additional fee when the truck should already have been inspected. Just overall not a satisfactory experience. Regards,

Truck was clean, but had a engine light on the dash. It was also missing the hand dolly. Location staff were less than ideal to work with.

Also, the guy was selling lottery tickets while dispatching our vehicle and didn’t even dispatch it properly so U-Haul had to call us later and fix it. I think this location should not have a contract with U-Haul anymore. They are hurting your brand.

Aaron KGentleman running counter was rude. Smoking and blowing smoke towards me. The seats and console floors were dirty. Didn't even want to touch it . My experience at the lancaster actual store was so much better. For a almost 200.00 rental for less than 5 hour rental was horrible. When I went to return there was no one in the store as people came in he pushed me aside and also a guy was behind me waiting to rent the truck I brought back. Then after he checked about 6 people out as I stood there for over 20 mins he took care of me still smoking in the store. Would not recommend to anyone. I told the guy that was waiting to rent good luck and how rude he said yeah I know unfortunately I need this size truck and I have used him prior he was rude then too
Katie MPick-up time was 8:30am. I arrived at 8:20am. I finally got the keys at 9:40am. The employee was very nice, but wasn’t familiar with the software or couldn’t figure it out. Even though I completed everything on line prior to my arrival, I couldn’t get the truck. Very frustrating!
