The equipment and process was easy. The actual facility staff started off a little intense. Simple questions were answered gruffly and somewhat rude. Not sure if it was because I was a female or just a bad day. When I returned the vehicle they were much friendlier. I would prefer not to go back but would if they had what I needed.

First time renting uhaul for a long distance move was not informed no locking mechanism on truck door and had to stop overnight with no secure truck. The passenger side door would not unlock with key (broken) so literally had to crawl across cab of truck to unlock for passenger..I am almost 60 years old and not an easy task.

Using the online check in was not easy. Once I got to the part to mark parts of the vehicle. It wouldn't upload my picture and then I wasn't able to continue from there. I also wasn't able to input the beginning miles.

Very professional. They delivered as promised after having a bad experience with a different U-haul location in Akron (237 Fountain street). I would definitely come back to the Canton Rd location for rentals. Thank you!

This is actually the second time I've rented something from American rental centers and I've had no issues either time. I actually had to go inside to get my key and the owner came out right away and helped me and was very polite. I have no complaints.

We had problems with movers and had to have more time than expected moving and the bill was way out of control ! I am now iverdrafted at my bank because of the reduculous bill we we're given!! I feel taken afvantage of to the extreme . I'm awaiting surgery walking on crutches and my husband and I were trying to do this move as fast as possible and then to see ‘tis bill was just unbelievable !! I can't work barely walk and the ungodly Amount iof money we are being charged is used up my whole SSIcheck Which has now overdrafted my bank account and used my ssi deposit for the month !

The guys behind the counter were very helpful and patient, as there was a little trouble with the online check in process on my end, and it was near closing time for them. Absolutely fantastic customer service.

Vehicle was not available up front when I got there. That caused a lag of 10 minutes. Also the guy that got my vehicle for me was VERY RUDE and not accommodating. I will NEVER USE THIS LOCATION again! Also even though they have a big lot users are not allowed to leave their vehicle there while using the uhaul. I had to park quite a bit away and walk back there.

The Wether was bad and an employee cleaned the snow for us. The equipment worked well. Our trailer was to be returned by 4:00pm and the location closed at 3:30. We are hoping there is no additional charge.

This place was too far away from where I was and I asked for a closer location, I was not happy driving additional 20 miles to return because it costs more to do so and was inconvenient for everyone.

The things that I had to do on my phone didn't work. The people I talked to on the phone said I can leave my car there and when I got there they said they never do that. The guys working there were very helpful and moved things around so I could fit my car there.

Very good customer service. Truck was clean and ready as promised. We were early to get truck and it was perfect! The big thing that I liked was there was no intimidating upsale with add ons. They were offered but not rammed down your throat like some rental places do. Good job!

This rental was a joke. Posted store hours vs. actual store hours were different. Arrived promptly at 9 am for pickup just to find out they aren't even open on Sunday. Spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find alternatives. Not a good experience.

Very personable fellow running the site. Kind of a misnomer that its $19.95 as advertised plus taxes etc. We were within 50 miles and four hrs of time. We paid $50.08. Is that standard? Otherwise the van was great and did the job for us. Thanks

The only issue I had was parking. I went to pick up the truck by myself, but the location has limited parking. If you're by yourself, you have to park somewhere else and walk back to get the truck. The situation is easily resolved by bringing along a second driver for the car as long as you know in advance.

The first trailers lighting wires were rotted. We ended up going to another place in canton and no one was there. Even though the main #for your company called them. After contacting the 800#. AGAIN. the person I talked to said just take it and she fixed the numbers on the contract. Point is. I reserved this a week in advance only to have to run all over to get what I reserved. If these places get any kind of commission or anything, I think I haul needs to check them out better.

Was not happy I was charged .79 per mile, I went under 50 miles and was told it would be cheaper than .79 per mile if under 50 miles. Also mileage on vehicle was lower than what I was billed for, last numbers were 855.0 was charged for 855.1. Would like an adjustment for cost of mileage, when I was told if under 50 miles, mileage rate would be cheaper. I sent picture if dashboard with mileage and fuel tank. Why was I charged for 855.1 when it was 855.0? And why was I charged .79 per mile when under 50 miles?

This place is incredibly dirty - Does UHaul have minimum quality standards for its locations? In addition, the gentleman who helped me was very rude. Perhaps he was having a bad day but his attitude is unacceptable. When I called UHaul and made the reservation they assured me that someone there would help me tie down my motorcycle. WHen I arrived and asked for help, this location told me, "No way! You have to do that yourself. We are not permitted to touch your stuff." So.. which is it?

Uhaul messed up my reservation and gave away the truck that they said they had available for me. Didn't find out until the day before I needed it. Head to ggp out of my way to pick up the truck. Terrible customer services. Not the fault of the rental facility where I got the truck. They were great!

They wouldn't accept my personal check so I had to put it on credit card, I didn't want to pay cash because it would leave me short if something happens so I was forced to use a credit card
