The lady was not in the office when I got there for my truck. She was supposed to be walking the property but, I saw her in the back of the property just sitting on the golf cart. I had a 9 a rental and was a bit late but she also didn't answer her text or message that was sent by the lady that took my complaint over the phone.- This is my second bad experience with uhaul. Also the return policy puts too much on the paying customer rather than just having us drop the key and leaveâ€¦we now have to do too much on line check in.LaTrese C.
I arrived at 8:55 am along with my husband to drop off uhaul no one was at this location. We waited until 9:15 am and no one showed up. So, we used the mobile link to drop off because we had another appointment. This was unacceptable because they opened at 9:00 am. I will not in the future use this location or recommend to anyone.Millicent W.
If the truck I rented is indicative of how the other vehicles are maintained I would never recommend this location. The inside was filthy and smelled like smoke. The truck itself was slow and unresponsive. The outside of the vehicle was severely damaged and the interior of the storage space looked as if it hadn't been swept in weeks. My overall experience with this rental is by far the worst I've ever experienced! If this is a reflection of how Uhaul operates its businesses now, I'm going to have to find another company for my future needs.Kay A.

Don't order moving pads. You won't get them and you will still be charged for them. Even after calling them to tell them you never received the moving pads.Joshua W.

The employee at the Texas Parkway location was rude with extremely poor customer service. She never greeted us. She did not offer to help when I was confused. We ordered a dolly and was told we had to get it ourself. She did nothing but just sit there as if she didn't even work there. It's been a while since I have encountered such discouraging behavior. I will certainly not visit that location again. I strongly feel that this should be addressed with her. Even while I was struggling through the check out process, she never offered any assistance. This was my first time using it and definitely my last. Every aspect of this process was a struggle where this employee could have made the experience better. She was a black lady, on the heavy side. The mobile check in process was not as simple or quick as was expected. We did all of the preliminary work, so we thought, but got hung up with an unresponsive app. The clerk was very nice and helpful. The truck could have been cleaner in the bed of the truck as was debri on the floor, but we gave the good rating because the clerk was very accomodating.MAURICE S.

We discovered a hole in the fuel line at the first attempt to put gas in the truck, which was clearly damage done by the previous customer. Several gallons leaked out during the process of figuring this out and the ensuing 9 hour drive. We had a deadline a d had to push through, so it got patched and we kept trucking. We thought we would get the issue resolved and compensation for the wasted gas at drop off. The employee was completely unwilling to help. She told me to go away and call U-haul customer service instead, which has been another nightmare to deal with. The entire experience was terrible from start to finish. Moving to a new city is already super stressful, and U-haul made it ten times worse.Paige L.

No furniture pads on truck as I ordered. This unit was poorly maintained, engine shook while idling, the tire were obviously out of balance, left with less than a quarter tank of gas, back carriage box was scattered with trash. It was obvious the last person to use it transported some kind of trees. I've rented from Budget and Penske in the past, I've never had such a poor unit. I'm not sure I would ever rent from UHaul again after that experienceJoseph K.

I tried to ask questions so that I can understand the return process and the lady acted as if I was bothering her. She was not helpful and said that I would get an email. I had never rented a uhaul in this capacity before and just wanted to make sure to be aware of the expectation going forward. Employee was very unwelcoming. Was abrupt with responses and states she emailed me my receipt but I never received it. Never asked me if I had any concerns with the truck, just took the keys from me. I still have not received a receipt for the storage portion of my rental truck and I believe I was overcharged. The truck itself was very uncomfortable. The driver's seat leaned to the right so I had to put a rolled towel under my right leg to level out my hips. There wasn't AC in the truck either which became very hot driving in Texas.Deborah J.

When I returned the truck Veronica went to expect the truck she come back in and shows me a scratch on the right rear and said it fresh. I told her no walk around was done on the truck when I picked it up as I was handed keys so unsure where em the scratch would come from in a dirty truck. When I was leaving she ask for a claim sticker so not sure what she is trying to do. My point is how are u going to point out a scratch and no pre inspection was done in truck.MORRIUS J.

The location was fine. My issue was with the scheduling of my UHaul. I spoke with someone and scheduled my UHaul a few days before my pickup. When I went to pickup my UHaul by the 24/7 phone virtually, the price was wrong and much higher. So I called the 1800 number to customer service to get it fixed. I ended up being in the phone and at the Uhaul place for over 2.5 hours trying to get the issue resolved. I almost lost the truck and was late getting my daughter off to college in another state. On top of that ib ended up having to talk to 3 different people with 3 different prices. The last lady that actually helped me resolve the issue over the phone, stated that she was giving me an extra 50 miles for my inconvenience. Once I checked my bill it didn't have the additional 50 miles on there. I have been using UHaul for over 25 years and have never had this many issues, long hold times, and confusion as I did on this rental. This rental debacle makes me want to never use the company again.FORREST B.
