We arrived at 8:55 not knowing they opened at 9:00. The door was unlocked and when I went in I was very rudely told â€œwe open at 9:00 so I went outside and waited for 5 minutes. She then came out. My husband was driving and he asked where she wanted him to put it and she again very rudely yelled at him to wait. We weren't in a hurry we were just trying to be helpful and she was obviously annoyed with us. Attitude that we did not deserve.Richard M.

There were so many issues... where do I start?!?!? I initially booked the truck and trailer online and I was under the understanding the truck and trailer would be at the same site (because I had to load my Explorer and drive 6 hours from Caldwell, Idaho to Moscow, Idaho. Since it's only me, this was a huge inconvenience to have to go to two places!). So after loading the truck, I went to the place that had the trailer. After the agent hooked up the trailer to to the truck, I stepped back and paused (because the gravity of hauling my 2016 Ford Explorer was not lost on me) and I realized if I was going to be able to do this successfully EVERYTHING would HAVE TO BE RIGHT. I had checked the turn signals and the brake lights on an attempt to do my part of due diligence. So, because I don't know about trailers or hauling car on trailers, I paused again asked the agent, â€œIs everything hooked up properly and is everything ready to goâ€ She responded â€œyesâ€. I then drove back to the uhaul location where my vehicle was parked waiting to be loaded. As I drive in to the parking lot, I can tell everyone there is looking at me... to find out two of the chains were not secured and I hadn't even loaded my vehicle yet. Ugh! The uhaul people there looked at the chains WHICH WERE BROKEN and replaced them. They helped me load my vehicle and it looked ( from the casual observer) it was secured and ready to travel. I received the truck only 1/3 full of gas (which was actually a good thing) because when I did stop for gas I checked my vehicle. The straps were completely loose and the vehicle still there the chains but I had only gone about an hours of my 6 hour trip. So, I did the best I could to tighten the straps but it's not my job and I really don't know what I'm doing. I had to stop every 1/2 hour and check/re-tighten the straps. This went on for several hours until I got to Lapwei, Idaho. While checking the straps at a gas station, I man said, â€œYou got the wrong tires on that trailer!â€ This man happened to be a manger of a uhaul in Boise and told me â€œthe tires on the trailer are from short trips not 6 hours!â€ This man helped me secure the straps and did a thorough check to help me out! Thankfully, this random meeting saved a little time and nominally reduced my frustration. The one thing he couldn't fix is the truck... which the rpm's sounded like they were revving so high, he check that I was using the towing mode but that made no difference. It took nearly twice as long to make it to Moscow! SERIOUSLY ...VERY ANGRY. It's stressful enough with having to tow your vehicle but it's beyond words when you pay for something and it's Beyond words to pay for something that doesn't meet even your basic expectations!Daniel H.

Just clean the truck windshield and drivers side window very dirty there was mud and dog hair all over inside the cab of truck we drove it to Nevada that way good thing we are not allergic to dog hairTracy O.

With the 26 ft truck rental, explaining the storage coming with that for a free month free storage should b better explained, we planned on it to find out there was no available storage thru uhaul..Sammy D.

We requested to drop our trailer and truck at one sight and the person checked us in and switched the site. Which was then a nightmare to correct. We called U-Haul and were disconnected 5 times when I finally reached someone at uhaul she was rude and told me I made the reservation wrong online...NO I have lived near our drop off point for 19 out of the last 20 years we moved back to Ut yesterday. My husband is an dyalisis patient and was exhausted and we spent an hour in the car trying to fix the drop off point. Finally we reached Portia in the call center and she went above and beyond to fix a simple issue no one else was willing to fix. We have used uhaul for 30 years. I nv will have to think seriously if I ever will again.Jim M.

If they have hours posted as being open, then they should actually be open. I couldn't find anyone to return he trailer to. I called the number and reached more of a corporate place instead. I was told to leave the trailer and take photos of where I left the trailer. I have been worried about it since then.Ann M.
The lady was rude and it's clear she hates her job. Customer service has been great up until this point. Every member we spoke with over the phone was very helpful but when we went to return the truck, the lady was rude and snapped ag usbabout the gas which we just put more in. We showed her a picture of the gas when we received the truck which was less than what we returned it with and her reply was either pay 40 dollars or go out more gas in so its 7/16ths full. We paid the 40 just so we didnt have to deal with her again.Jonathon P.

Couldn't return trailer to destination and when we returned it back to American Trailers they we'e rude and said we were lucky we didn't get charged another day! Moscow, Idaho was supposed to be our turn in site and they refused to take our trailer. So we had to take it all the way back to Caldwell to turn it in. Very Poor attitude at both locations and zero concerns for customer.William T.
