We called and said the RV dealership was running late we end up being 1hr late but the only one person that could help us was out on a run. We end up waiting around 45 minutes before she got back I think there should be another person learning the system.Dennis S.

I dropped off equipment for two days and they never checked it in,I followed up on a phone call and I was giving excuses,I went to the location and the husband of the so called business partner got into an argument with me and told me he does not run the place so he doesn't care about me,because his wife is the one who runs uhaul,he called his wife and she was very arrogant on the phone and told me to leave the property,it took 3days and I never heard back from her.i called back and no answer,call the next day and she said she's busy babysitting her kids and she will check the equipment in when she gets time to do it,I'm asking uhaul to look into this because this place is run by a trashy husband and wife irresponsible Mexicans who don't care about people,,YAW O.

I was told we just needed to show up, show out ID, and sign for truck. We expected a quick pickup. We had originally scheduled for 8am pickup. Uhaul called to change locations because our original location we chose did not have equipment we needed. We arrived at 8:45am. No one arrives to the office until 9:20am. Then, we were told we could not rent the original equipment on our order. The order basically had to be completely redone in the system, including a call to uhaul. After someone else on the phone was able to fix the system, we were able to get the original equipment. We were also told we would get an extra day, because of the late start and location change. This was NOT on the printed order, so we only had the original three days. Truck was only 3/4 full, and we still had to wait for blankets and dolly to be loaded. We did not leave until 9:50am...so we started almost TWO hours behind schedule.Keith B.

The man who ran this place was quite rude first he wouldn't give me my key to the Uhaul saying i had to call Uhaul and get them to call him so he would give me my key it wasted alot of my time, i was on a time limit, I had ordered the Uhaul for 7am, the time was switched for 8am, without anyone telling me then he said he wouldn't give me my key till 9am, I had to be at my new apartment at 9am! And I was supposed to be at work at 11am, when Uhaul called him and he threw the key at me and got mad at me for calling them! He was very rude! I know I'll use Uhaul in the future, but I'll never get one from this location again.Victoria H.

If it had not been for the independent U-Haul dealer, I would never use U-Haul again. Made reservation in person at U-Haul facility on Monday 8-13; received text confirm 8/18 pick up; this was to be the pick up location was my understanding. Friday, 8/17, I receive a text that my pick up location is now in Alvarado TX...20 miles from my house one way! I called U-Haul several times to get central center that cannot make changes to be transferred to scheduling to only be told nothing they can do it is the closest that has trailer. To asking for a message to be sent to the store; who called me back so I can speak with store where I rented trailer. To only be told there were no other trailers in DFW. Frustrated, my daughter(over 21) went personally into the store where it was located and discussed with manager on duty. With no other options, agreed to drive 30 minutes south to pick up the trailer. She was also ASSURED that this trailer could be picked up after work at 6pm and that it would be there since we driving so far. Well while looking up the directions to this pick up location, it came to my attention that this independent U-Haul closes at 4pm?? I am now at work trying to figure out what to do. It was Alyssa at the tire shop that calmed me down, offered her personal assistance after hours and came up with a solution that worked. Trailer was picked up successfully. AGAIN - this was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. Corporate U-Haul should be really grateful to this independent dealer for saving the day. The customer service that called to route my trailer were terrible! I spoke to several different people and could never get back with the same person twice which resulted in my rate going up $400 which I had to spend another 2 hours and 4 people later to finally get the rate fixed! It seemed like every person I talked to on the customer service line couldn't help me so they had to transfer me to another agent! Uhaul customer service really needs to get it together! My rate was finally adjusted after a long repetitive conversation of the customer service saying there was absolutely nothing they could do about the $400 up charge to then find out .....oops we actually did make a mistake! The facility dropping off and picking up were the easiest part of this transaction!Lacey E.
