Trailer itself had physical damage on pick up. The U-Haul rep did not check that the correct trailer ball was installed (I should have checked too), very fortunate that there was not a catastrophic failure on the tow to pick up the Jeep. Loading made it clear there was an issue at least.

Truck had a very loud exhaust. Must be leaking somewhere. Trucks shouldn’t be rented to customers that have problems.

My rental experience was awful due to severe last-minute changes and app failures. Minutes before pickup, my location was changed from 8 km away to 70 km away. Adding an extra day and mileage did not cover the wasted evening or the personal gas spent on a 140 km round trip just to get the truck. On top of that, my 10-foot truck was changed to a 15-foot truck at the last minute, which significantly increased my gas bill due to higher fuel consumption. To make matters worse, all my pre-registration data was lost, forcing me to re-do the whole process on-site. The app froze repeatedly when uploading pickup photos, making departure a nightmare in an area with almost no cell reception. The only positive part of the entire experience was the on-site truck stop employee, giving the key, who was lovely and helpful. I expect U-Haul to honor the $50 Reservation Guarantee and provide a partial refund for the extra fuel costs caused by these last-minute changes. Reservation #: 76950853

Everything went well. The truck was clean, but I'm not sure about the maintenance. The negative comment stems from the state of the truck's automatic transmission. When shifting from park into reverse or drive, the shift lever had a mind of its own. It took a bit of flexing to get it into the proper gear.

Overall the rental process was smooth, but I was disappointed to see a $25 cleaning fee added to my final bill. I returned the truck in a clean condition and would have appreciated being contacted or shown what required cleaning before the charge was applied. I would like this fee reviewed.

Easy check in, allowed to leave my car while I was using the rental van. Able to gas up on site after the use of the rental van. Very clean, very professional. No hard sell on rental of accessories for moving, and the rates for insurance coverage and safe trip are reasonable. Overall, and excellent experience.

Price is really steep, should be a refund section when fuel is higher than what was left, or usage ends up being shorter than expected. Being safe and expecting traffic ended up costing more for the rental.

The customer service representative was professional, friendly and efficient. Exactly what many would expect from customer service. Thank you for that. However, this location seems to be short of staff resulting in delays. I must admit though I was a walk-in. I didn't reserve ahead. The vehicle was very clean and drove okay but it is old. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving it a long distance. Then again, it was my first time driving a vehicle this large so I wasn't used to it. I would go back because of the service I received from the representative. It makes a huge difference these days to have good service.

I found I was unable to make use of the truck within the first hour due to poor physical ability. I returned the truck to rental location withing the first hour but received no refund of any kind. It would be nice if you had a refund policy for such a situation.

the pick up and drop off locations are fine. I notice you don't ask about the booking experience which was absolutely dreadful. The initial rep couldn't explain himself and I couldn't confirm the reservation. Then I was sent to a different drop off then I picked it up and I'd left my car at the first location. Your company is awful and I won't rent from UHaul again.

Last two experiences with company, I was called within days of my move, to inform me the size of truck I reserved weeks ago, was not available. Previous instance I was forced to take a 26’ truck that I had great difficulty driving, was too big. This time exact same call I recieved, however, I explained I couldn’t drive a truck bigger than the 20’ I had, again, reserved. After much discussion and a call back 20 minutes later, I was told my reservation was ok and I could have the truck. When I picked the truck up, I had reserved 2 trollys, but they only had one. Then I start driving and noticed something wrong, with transmission, as was shifting poorly. Then I get to location to load up and saw the back rear tire on passenger side, was almost flat. Had to take truck to get air, but it was so cold, the air compressor was not working efficiently, so flow was compromised. So had to drive on under inflated tire for the duration of my move. I am greatly disappointed in both of my recent experiences using Uhaul.

Clean the snow off the trucks you know are rented and ensure the ADD ON ITEMS ARE IN THE TRUCK. Being charged for blankets I don’t get an 106 extra charges for not returning the blankets they never put in the truck. Perhap walking the vehicle with th client instead of making them do everything online themselves would eliminate that issue

The people (Kyle and Robbie) at Antrim were wonderful and honest. The people from some call center in Ottawa who called me representing U-Haul were not. They weren't needed. I hadn't reached out to them. I went to the Antrim shop and was well looked after. The rep who called without asking rewrote the contract and when I returned the van when asked to do so my bill had been increased from $19.95 to $163.00. We paid despite the contract showing clearly a despute between what our contract showed from Antrim and what U-Haul had billed from the call center. The person who we spoke with was rude. She was absolutely rude to the local representative from U-Haul at Antrim. We came to understand that U-Haul national intervened because they had viewed a quote on their site given by Antrim to my wife and I for a rental to Atlantic Canada in December for $9600 plus HST. We were advised to rent from Ottawa and not Antrim and for switching they'd reduce my quote by $100.00 which would completely cut Antrim out of anyway to earn a dollar. Bottom line. Please rent from U-Hauls competition. Anyone but U-Haul but more importantly please don't blame anyone at Antrim or the truck stop itself for U-Hauls despicable antics or behavior. My family has frequented Antrim for years and it's a wonderful establishment. From the gas station, to the bakery, the restaurant and the garage. Wonderful wonderful people. Its absolutely unfortunate that they'd be in business with dishonest, disrespectful people like the people representing U-Haul. Sincerely Recent & Last Time Customer of U-Haul. As for Antrim. We'll continue to frequent your business but do yourselfes a favor and tow these U-Hauls off the lot before they damage your credibility.

I didn’t like the amount of dealing with rental on line instead of doing it all I person. Even when I called and spoke with a person to reserve they couldn’t add insurance- had to do online and had to rent longer as the pick up after hours at location seemed complicated. However the humans involved were all pleasant. On return (after hours) needed to use the app to return but couldn’t upload photo - glitch maybe Not impressed Prefer human interaction vs using an app

The first vehicle was inoperable due to an engine problem. The second vehicle was fine but much smaller than what we needed and we might end up needing another truck because of it. Wasn't the cleanest either, lots of spider webs. I got called twice, once from the origin location and once from the company, despite placing a call to the company when I dropped it off. At least the service rep was kind, and I was reimbursed for the gas I couldn't use in the first truck.

Was promised a 50 dollar credit because truck share did. Not work. This promise was from corporate (the 1800 number). Did not recieve credit please rectify.
