I ordered some supplies that were not available at the time of pick up. Make sure everything that is available for purchase is available at the time of pick up as well. I have been unsuccessful in getting a refund, which is honestly fine because it was not very expensive, but it is the principle of the matter. I was fine but another customer may be strapped for money and may need every dollar.Sergio T.

We had an appointment at 6:00 pm to pick up our trailer. When we arrived we were informed that the manager was not there. The employee called and where told he would be there in 35 minutes. That 35 minutes turned into an hour and 10 minutes. Also we had reserved furniture pads and were informed that they did not stock them. If the manager was not going to be able to make the appointed time then it should not have been agreed upon. This location also had the $50 guarantee. Guess that doesn't mean it has to be on time.John B.

I reserved a truck and a appliance dolly. When I picked up truck this location did not have an appliance dolly so the gentleman told me he would take it off the order. My mistake I took his word for it. When I turned truck in, the dolly was never taken off my order, so not only was I charged for a the rental of the dolly but also a $150 charge for a missing dolly. Of course no one can recall anything or wants to even talk about it. Thanks UhaulEric R.

I had to go to another location after picking up the truck to get the 36 blankets I had ordered when I ordered the truck. Horrible management of process. I completely blame U-Haul for not managing and training its contracted people and employees correctly. I will never use U-Haul again.Kevin P.

Trucks needs to be cleaned inside and Inside light wasn't working. I unloaded my belongings in the dark.Isaac M.
It took over a hour to get trailer, they had open trailer not enclosed, like I asked for. Young Man worked at convenient store. Did not have time or knowing about trailer. He asked a coustomer to check it. Made me feel very uncomfortable about towing it, sence I had never towed one before. This 5x8 cost me $187 and a lot of stress.Vesta T.

My review is based on the location and NOT UHAUL. The person at this location was really great at assisting me work out a UHAUL reservation mess up. I would recommend this location based on the help I got from the employee that helped me but I will not be renting from UHAUL in the future.Jeanette B.
I was already aggravated that I had to drive 45 miles minutes out of my way to return the truck since I was told I couldn't return my truck to my storage even though they rent trucks there. When I went into the location the cashier had an attitude with me because I was told to take the truck to that location. Customer service was lacking l had tried to speak to customer service before my trip and that gentleman was also rude about where the truck was to be returned. Unnecessary mileage was put on the vehicle, I had to drive 45 minutes south from my storage unit and then spend 85 minutes driving home. I have rented vehicles in the past and am not sure if I will use you again in the future.Diane C.
Be more respectful to the paying customer. I had to physically measure the truck I rented because the representative couldn't take 5 seconds to walk me to the truck. Then upon drop off the representative proceeded to tell me the truck needed $12 more gas after I just paid him $7 and verified the tank was as it was before we left.Joshua B.
The Lady at the shop were not knowledgeable of the rental process. We waited almost an hour for her to print the invoice. She told us that " we could dropped off the truck any UHaul rental place". So we went to the closest one & was told that we have to take it to the address on the invoice. We wasted time & mileages. It costed us more to pay for the extra mileages. That is not acceptable to anyone; especially, senior. The Lady gave UHaul a bad reputation.CHIN N.

The 1 star reflects how angry I am at UHaul even 3 days after I picked up the equipment. The rating has nothing at all to do with the people or location. I reserved a truck and tow trailer 2 weeks in advance with a late afternoon pick-up. I was informed 60 minutes prior to pick-up that the equipment was not there. Yet, when I drove past the location I wanted to pick-up from, there were multiple 15' trucks and tow dollys on the lot. UHaul made me go to 2 separate locations to pick-up the truck and trailer. NO! YOU GO GET THE TRUCK AND TRAILER AND HAVE THEM READY AT MY DESIRED PLACE OF PICK-UP. DON'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO RUN AROUND THE CITY, YOU RUN AROUND THE CITY FOR YOUR CUSTOMER!!!!!James D.

We reserved online a 15 foot one way rental to Macon ga. For pickup in ball ground ga What was provided was a 20 footer for pickup over 30 minutes away. When we arrived at agreed time, we found the location did NOT rent one way trucks. We were sent an additional 25 minutes to a location further away. At next stop truck was again a 20 foot and location took 30 minutes or more to process our rental due to fact it was a busy convenience store with one employee who sold items concurrently. When we finally went to possess truck, it's cargo area was locked and there was no combination. It took an additional 1 1/2 hours to get a truck. So my uhaul experience was about as BAD as can be. It started with online request software that FAILED to provide a rental as we requested. JUST A HUGE CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL.Scott R.
It is absolutely important to pay close attention to what the client needs or says to avoid misunderstanding each other. When we are too busy or appear to be too busy it may send a negative signal as was clearly my case where I stated that I needed to return the truck the next business day and I was surprised on returning the truck when I was told that I said that I would return the truck the same day. I should also have paid closer attention when I was told to return the keys before 11PM which I thought referred to the same day instead of the next day. The issue was solved amicably and very courteously.Titus S.

THE INCOMPETENT LADY THAT WAS WORKING BEHIND THE COUNTER HAD NO CLUE AS TO WHAT THE EQUIPMENT WAS ON THE LOT. AFTER MAKING THE RESERVATION ONLINE SHE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THE CAR CARRIER I WAS RENTING WOULD NOT WORK? I WENT AROUND THE CORNER TO THE U-HAUL FACILITY AND SPOKE WITH SOMEONE THAT NEW WHAT THE HELL HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND SAID THAT CARRIER WOULD WORK. I WENT BACK AND COULD NOT HAVE HAD WORST SERVICE OR EXPERIENCE RENTING THE CARRIER. I WILL SERIOUSLY CONSIDER IF I WILL USE U-HAUL AGAIN WITH IGNORANT RUDE USELESS PEOPLE BEING ALLOWED TO RENT EQUIPMENT. THIS LOCATION SHOULD BE BARRED FROM USING YOUR NAME!chris B.

As I mentioned, the truck needs to have its transmission checked. I hit the brakes and the rpms revved until I punched the gas. I forgot to mention that when i turned the truck in. The gentleman who received the truck and check in said there was no refund. I had been told there would be if we turned the truck in earlyKaren B.

not very friendly. The clerk that rented me the truck was on Facetime with a family member the entire time. she never ended the call to help me. She gave me the keys and was done. We never walked out to look at the truck or over the damages even when I asked, she stated they know whats wrong with it. I have rented with U-haul many times in the past and this was the worst experience I've had.Terrail W.
The inside of the truck was dirty, including the cab. The steering is very loose so it made it difficult to keep it in the lane on the interstate. The flashers worked only for a minute. Worst uhaul I have ever rented and I've rented many times. I also hold a CDL and have experience so knowing how the truck should handle and how this one handles is night and day. Your customer service is horrible. We scheduled a truck at one location but had to drive 16 miles out of our way at our own expense to get a truck. Furthermore we were inexplicably over charged. Your process does not communicate important details and your service only frustrates people more. I have told everyone I know that U-Haul is the worst company to deal with.Valarie L.

Truck should be checked after it is returned, before rented to the next customer. Truck was full of trash and boxes when I arrived at my destination to load and obviously was not inspected after the last rental. I had to clean truck out before being able to use it. Also, truck was supposed to have 1/2 tank has but was in empty. Chevron did pay for 1/2 tank before I left but this was inconvenient and should have been checked beforehand!Susanne A.
