Cab smelled like someone smoked pot. I asked if I needed to add gas to the existing 5/8 tank marker when I returned the truck. I was told NO. Then when I went to return, I got charged almost $30 for gas! I was tired from moving all day and just paid it. Won't rent from uhaul again. That was a rip off. I must add that the people working at this location were very nice and very helpful. It is not their fault for uhauls issues.DEBORAH O.

Keep your records organized and stop overcharging people. After standing for over 20 minutes waiting to return, we have been charged for an extra day! This is outrageous and downright theft. I want my money back now. To add insult to injury, I've been on hold for 40 minutes trying to resolve! What a poop show. I'm going to tell as many people as possible about your company's practices and horrible customer service!JERRY H.
Went to drop off Uhaul and they had no knowledge of that uhaul getting dropped of there. Had to call uhaul and check it back in using phone. If someone didn't have a smart phone, how are they suppose to be able to use a uhaul? Will probably never use a uhaul after the lack of organization uhaul hasScott B.

I chose mobile drop off, completed the steps required, and began looking for the key drop. I was unable to find the key drop so I went inside and was greeted with an unmasked person who would not accept the truck until they performed their own check-in.MATTHEW L.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in all my years. Not one employee knew what was needed to be done or how to deal with uhaul. They were pleasant and nice but zero training for the 3 employees I dealt with. I will never rent a uhaul from this location again and will tell everyone I know to go elsewhere. I have been a long tine uhaul user for over 15 years to move around the country but will go to budget or someone else from now on. Thank you, SethSeth L.
Improve your online checkout. It took me over an hour to get checked out. I had to call 5 times, change numerous settings on my phone. Complete waste of my time. I should've been given a discount, in the VERY LEAST.Danieal R.
The personnel at this location were doing all they could do to help, but my real problems began when people in higher UHaul authority decided that the employees at the Stayton were not yet sufficiently trained. After I had a truck reserved for the next morning, someone unknown, from the higher authority, CHANGED my pick up location the evening before pick up, from Stayton, to another city ! The following morning, I ended up driving to Salem to the 12th St location, to talk to a live person. I could not understand why I could not have the truck that was sitting in Stayton ( I knew that it had not been rented out to someone else). In Salem, I learned what was really going on. Mark fixed everything for me! He worked some computer magic and I was then able to drive back to Stayton for the truck I had originally reserved ! I give all my stars to Mark in Salem at the 12th St location...and NONE to the higher authority behind the 800 number. The Shaff Rd, Stayton location employees were not to blame, they did the best they could to get the rental accomplished with little help from higher management.CHARLENE P.
Handling the UHaul business is new to many of the staff at the service station so there was some trouble getting checked in and picking up the truck. Dan, the area manager, called me and totally expedited the process. It could have been a bad experience if he hadn't stepped in.Five stars for Dan. Overall, I think the online reservation and check-in process is great. Employees at this location just need some more training and experience.Ramona D.
U-Haul makes it look like their services work great from their online marketing, and rental reservation system. But once you're at the location, the application starts to glitch out, and the employees at the location have no clue what's going on. thumbs down. But.....the drop off process worked great. Application worked perfectly, uploaded photos, and worked as it should. way easier than working with the locations employees. When the application glitches, total nightmare.Mathias C.

Staff was unfamiliar with uhaul. Was a gas station with a uhaul business attached. Didn't have computers to track my invoice/reservation. Had to wait 40 minutes to return the van. Uhaul rep wasn't present at 9:35 am. Almost went to a different location to return the vehicle.Samuel V.
