The woman at desk had me wait 20 minutes while she tried to upload my driver's license and work on the computer. Also took other information. Then a man entered the office and said, "He's already paid, just give him the key." (I had completed everything online when I reserved my rental. I waited there for 20 minutes for nothing. Aggravating.

The lady who checked me out when I returned the vehicle needs help in customer service. She asked me to get rid of a few pine needles on the rear bumper. I actually thought she was joking. When I realized she wasn't. I informed her that the windshield was dirty on the inside when I picked up the vehicle. But she didn't have a reply. Or a smile. Just a heads up.

Paying $1.19 per mile is a bit extreme when we have to go out of our way to get to that location. A 15-20 mile buffer would be nice. Other than that, it was fine.

The young lady on-site was very helpful and professional on the phone when I scheduled, picked up and dropped off. She did a great job! One special thing to note, she offered me 2 levels of insurance. I didn't know there were 2! I went with the higher priced one so I could be completely covered. I'm not used to driving a truck so it made me feel more comfortable knowing I'm totally covered.

To check-in online with U-haul is a nightmare, I was 20 min with a customer service rep and it did not go anywhere, you are left with a feeling that you are a scammer trying to steal the truck. Thank God I was at the site and finally the employee Ivory checked me in, noting that 50% of the time the online check-in doesn't work (??). I just wished that she would have done the effort from the get go and saved me the grief and time in dealing with U-Haul online. In my years of renting vehicles this was by far the most bizarre and awkward rental. Return was a breeze though and went on quick and smoothly so that is why I rated it above average because if not I would have definitely rated it Poor!

I picked up a 10 foot truck specifically to use the ramp to move a piano. When I got to the location to pick up the piano I opened the back of the truck and the ramp was missing! The ramp was the only reason I rented the truck...and no ramp!

The tuck was dropped off at the same place it was picked up. Even an hour after it was rented my son got a call trying to confirm a totally different drop off location along with a different date! I do not understand why there was so much confusion- if it was input into the computer correctly, why was it so screwed up?

I reserved a furniture dolly with my truck only to be told that there isn't one available. This was more than just an inconvenience as we had to move heavy furniture out of a large apartment complex through hallways and the garage to the truck. Not acceptable!

The the fuel was at 1/4 and I returned at 1/4 full. Please reimburse the $57 for the 6 gallon fee and fill up fee. I did not rent or use the utility dolly. Please remove the $5 fee.. I did not rent or use the furniture pads. Please remove the $5 fee. The lady at the front desk did not explain the return process correctly. She said to just drop it off and put the key in the key box. She did not say to process the return online. This is really bad business!

Online check-in was clunky. Some steps could have been completed in advance (like calling the secondary contact). Once I completed the online check-in and received the "code" - I accessed the box but it was empty. I called customer service, they told me that I would have to wait an hour for the location to open, or go to another location and completely restart a new reservation. Neither the location nor the customer service person on the phone offered any apology or compensation. It was basically "go somewhere else or just wait." Keep in mind, this was all due to the fact that the location did not place the key in the box... they still had it in the office. I had to bring up the "$50 credit that was shown online" for cases like this. Once I finally got the key, I had asked if I would be charged an additional fee if the truck was not returned at the estimated time. She said there would be no charge, and if I returned it after the office was closed I would simply drop the key in a nearby lock box. I received a call from the office later that day (about 30 minutes after my estimated return time) and they were telling me that I had to return the truck because it was "late" and another person was waiting to access it (let's not forget that I didn't get the keys until 75 minutes AFTER I was initially supposed to because of the office's mistake earlier). I have cancelled a subsequent reservation with U-Haul.

Change the oil in your trucks before the light tells you to... Also clean out your key box it's covered with spider webs and had black widows inside Also mange your traffic and parking lot better, difficult for novice drivers to pull out safely with all of the inbound traffic

The people were great. The uhaul check in process was terrible. It took an hour to check in with all the online steps and the support call dropped and the online system froze. Everyone who helped me was courteous and calm in these troubled times. The system and process were not good. I would recommending making it easier for people to find the reservations they've already made, make the system quicker and easier to use, and fewer steps. Also make it clear to people that they need to check in online and it may take a long time.

Front staff a little cold; when picking up uHaul I asked if I could leave my car in the parking lot area for a couple hours so I could drop off the truck and come back and I was told no because the parking lot was for customers only. I reminded her I too was a customer and was still denied because she said the parking lot gets full easily (or something to that effect). I let it go and parked my car outside the facility - the area is sketchy and I really did not feel.comfortable. But I was most turned off by being told I was not a customer even though I spent almost $200 to rent a truck for a week. I will not use your services in the future. There is a competitor close by and maybe they will consider me a customer. Btw when I returned 2 hours later to pick up my car there were no cars in your secured parking lot.

I was sent to a different location the day of the pickup (further, more of an expense to me) without really being aware, so I had to call to confirm. If you have a moving truck in the area, it would have been appreciate to move the truck for me to the closer location since there was enough time to have done so. Not 100% accurate on fuel gauge.

I realized too late that this location did not really have a good selection. The vehicle served its purpose, but was somewhat dusty and dirty in the interior and the windows had to be cleaned to see out of them. The personnel was polite and efficient. The cargo department was clean and mechanically it ran ok .

The mirrors on the 10ft truck were not adjustable which made driving difficult. I had to contact the corporate office for assistance who stated that the mirrors had to be pushed firmly but they still did not adjust.

Truck was completely horrendously dirty, the truck would slip in and out of gears on hills, customer service was very rude and very vague when dealing with them and the teller at the store refused to accept cash due to uhaul policy then proceeded to tell us we could go to our bank and put cash on our credit card and not be charged the miles then turns around and charges us another 25 fuck you uhaul your service is shit

Quick and simple process picking up the van. Cashier did forget to give me the blankets I rented, even after checking to make sure they were in stock. Turns out I didn't need them, so it wasn't a big deal. They would've been useful as padding, though. Received a full refund since I didn't get them. Overall, great experience. Brand new vehicle with 3/4 tank of gas, which made things a little easier.

The van smelled like livestock. Whomever had the van last must've transported sheep or other animals. We also found hay particles in the back. I brought this up during our checkout, but the front desk girl ignored the comment. Wouldn't even go out there to check for herself. To make matters worst, my brother and sister who were both helping with the move broke out in hives. This experience has truly been unacceptable. If someone from Uhaul corporate is reading this, please call me asap. I would not recommend rentals from this place, unless you would like to get sick.

The individual who I was dealing with was INCREDIBLY rude. I asked her name & believe it was Angie, if the information I was given was correct. When asking if I could leave my car in their parking she said "No, you can't park there" rather than something like "No, i'm sorry our gate closes at a certain time, and no vehicles can be left overnight." I asked if I could just leave it for an hour or two until someone could drive me back. Her response -"No." When I returned the vehicle I went to the wrong location because there was a misunderstanding (they never told us where to return so we assumed any U-haul) I was on-time at that location, and because my phone was not working and I had no other means of direction I asked the employee to print directions to the correct location. I arrived 30-45 minutes later than my scheduled time. When I arrived she was not sympathetic to the mistake at all, and charged me the second day's rate as well. When I arrived I was trying to park out of the way of the gate where self-storage traffic drives, but I'm horrible at driving a 15' truck. She came out of the store & told me I could park along the fire lane (which I was trying to do), and I said "I'm trying but I'm horrible at parking it might be a minute." She replied, "Well you can't park where you are, you're blocking the entire gate," and walked off. ("Where you are" refers to about 3 feet away from the curb she was asking me to park on). I asked if she could help direct me, seing as I just told her I'm horrible at driving the truck, and she acted like I asked her to do it herself. FINALLY, when I was checking out she told me "your total will be 205, do you want me to run your card on file?" I was a little shocked it was so expensive (for 24 hours & 30 minutes), but said, "yes that's fine." She apparently didn't hear me and asked, "do you want me to run the card?" I said a little louder "YES." & she smirked & laughed for some unknown reason. I had refueled the tank (40$) to put it back where I got it, but she also charged me $22 because it apparently wasn't where it should have been. If that is true, I understand that's the policy, but it was incredibly close if not on the correct spot. When I told her I paid the $40 for gas - again, no sempathy at all. She is the WORST customer service individual I have ever, in my life, had to deal with. No enthusiasm, giving me minimal information/help, wanted to be anywhere but there, and completely rude to other customers as well. I actually saw another customer of the self-storage come in to tell her that she had a Penske truck inside the gate, but it broke down & though the technicians were working on it they might need to get it towed. Angie responded, "well I suggest you get it towed as soon as possible because you can't leave it here after closing." The customer & the technicians were clearly doing whatever they could to get the Penske up and running, but they knew that might be impossible, and they were ki

We called and needed something to move a table for one hour so they rented us a van (all the home depot trucks were already rented out). Said it would be $19.95 for 4 hours. Never said anything about the other charges. We returned the truck in one hour and it totaled out at SIXTY DOLLARS! $60! They never said anything about the mileage fees. Will never use this service again.
