A week and a half ago I reserved a truck from a service point for 9am pick up, 2 miles from my home. I specifically put in the reservation that the truck is for one way and I would be dropping off at a specific location at my destination because it was 2 hours away. At 8:15pm the evening before I was to pick up, I received a call from uhaul saying they do not have the truck I need so I would have to pick up from a location 30 minutes away AND it would have to be RETURNED to the same place.Â I called uhaul at 8am the next morning in tears because of this incredibly inconvenient change. My husband and I had no plans on driving back 2 hours to return the truck because we had a graduation party to attend in PA. My hands were tied so I said I am forced to take this truck. I spoke to Jody at 8am about this and she said I could pick up the truck yesterday between 8:30am and 9:30am. I got to the truck at 8:30am and WAITED until 10:45am when a person from uhaul came to cut a key. I am still very upset thinking about this. Because of this delay, we missed the costco delivery window for couches that were to be delivered to my new office. In addition, I had hired movers to help move from 12pm-3pm. I had to pay them EXTRA because we didn't arrive until 2pm. When I made my original reservation, I was given a rate of around $110.00. We returned the uhaul today and it was $267.00. This entire experience was horrendous and unacceptable. I am requesting a refund. Oh- and there was a 14 inch crack on the window when I received the truck.NICOLE W.

You guys should say how many miles are used on average via distance in moving. I went way over thinking I could do less, maybe like â€œaverage of 10 mile move, takes 100 milesâ€ are something like that depending on the vehicle size, would just make the process a little easierChase B.

Was closed, so have no idea about facility nor personnel. One thing I did not find a Uhaul drop box, it was a mail slot in the garage door, and the key just landed on the floor.MICHAEL M.
