kevin sI am rating this location below average because all the U-HAUL documentation indicated that this was an after-hours drop-off location; however, they are a gated facility and they lock up access to the drop box so that you cannot return your vehicle or the key after a certain time. I had to return my vehicle after 9pm on the day of my move because I had no were else to park it and this was incredibly inconvenient. I had to park the truck on the street near AutoPrada that evening and then make a special trip the next day to return the key (which took 2 hours out of my day). I was reprimanded by the staff for leaving the truck out on the street because it was a "bad area" and that the truck would now not be available for other people who booked it (since there was a delay in returning the key); however, this was not my problem as I followed the step-by-step directions on the U-HAUL app for the return and was instructed to park in a legal spot nearby. If I had known after-hour drop-off would be an issue I would have selected another return location.

Chris GGot a text the morning of the pickup asking me to come 1.5 hours earlier than my scheduled pickup time so they could “close up the shop early”. After scrambling to get there early, I arrived and the shop did not have the dolly I had reserved and suggested I drive 20 min out of my way to a separate U-Haul location. Not wanting to add miles to the vehicle, I ended up moving without it. I have never been more sore or bruised in my entire life. Moving is already stressful, but somehow this shop managed to make it one of the worst days ever. Thanks!

PRESTON SThis has been the worst experience that I have had with a rental. Disgusting to be overcharged, especially after such poor service.
Kayla GAutoprada was unable to honor the terms of the rental. 1) I chose to use the contactless rental option. Upon arriving, I went over to the truck area and began the process, when an autoprada employee interrupted me and insisted I come in and let them handle it in person. 2) I booked thru uhaul.com, and chose a rental time window of 12:30pm-8:30pm on Saturday, 5/30. However, the Autoprada employee informed me that they close at 6pm and cannot accept returns after 6pm. They gave me the option of returning the truck in the morning at no extra charge, but that did not work for me, as I have nowhere to park the truck overnight. When I said so, they offered the option of canceling the reservation and starting over at another rental location! When I expressed frustration, she told me I need to have a better attitude about the situation. I said, "Why would U-Haul provide an option of returning at 8:30pm when the local business cannot honor the agreement?" They did not like that question and was visibly annoyed. 3) I had to rush to get my move done and barely got the truck back in time. Moving was insanely stressful that day, as a result, and Autoprada is to blame.

Dave RExtra $15 insurance was applied to the bill by U-Haul even though we declined it. Had to call to get the charge removed. From the comments it seems like this happens a lot.

Incredible support, super friendly and chill personality, and is just a genuine person I really enjoyed interacting with. Regarding the location itself, its such a cool place and makes me want to invest in badass speakers. Will come back!

Lawrence SCould not have been a better experience. Super fast at the checkout desk, van was ready to go and clean and entire experience was great. On checking out/turning in the van wait time was very low and efficient. Next time I need a van or truck I will work with this U-Haul dealter.

Michael KI have rented Uhauls on many occasions over the years. AutoPrada is the best experience I have had renting. It is easy, equipment is ready and waiting and staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend using this location for Uhaul rental!
HANNAH PWe were told we could drop off the truck at a different location but when we did I got a call the next day saying I couldn't do that and that they will be watching the cameras to make sure I wasn't lying when I told them we had permission to drop off the truck at a different location. They also tried to charge a $20 after hour fee because the uhaul location closed before we could get there. We had the truck for up to 24 hours and were returning it early.

LUCAS TWe waited at the drop off area making sure that the truck was clean and tidy for over 10 minutes before we even saw anyone. The person didn’t even get very close to us, as they walked toward us from a distance they said, “are you returning?”. Then they said “we’ll check it in”, and just walked away. We did not see that person for another 15 minutes while we were waiting for our Uber ride, but really didn’t want to go anywhere without them checking so that we wouldn’t get any extra charges if they said it wasn’t clean when you do a return, I’d expect that they would come and inspect the truck so that you would know if you were going to receive any charges. I ended up taking pictures myself so that I could leave, and make sure they wouldn’t pretend that I brought it back dirty or the gas tank empty.

Olivia GI had an excellent experience with Autoprada, which was a complete and refreshing change from my experience with other Portland UHAUL dealers. Courteous, friendly, easy. Truck was in very good shape and best of all, there was no pressure trying to upsell me, hassling me over mileage and gas or hidden fees...all of which I have experienced elsewhere. Check in , pick and drop off were smooth, quick and easy.
ISAAC R1st my truck wasn’t even ready 2nd the truck had enough gas to make it 2 blocks to the gas station 3rd I come back after being told I had till 6 to drop off and there is nobody on site I will not be returning to this location they not only cost me $ with my movers by making me wait to pick up the truck but it cost me time and $ when returning the truck as well having no fuel made me late to our move and put as an hour behind the entire day I rent a lot of uhual trucks and it seems some places just don’t care about the standard uhual has in place

CHRISTOPHER JWe rented a 20-foot truck for an out-of-state move. The truck was new and in excellent condition. The U-haul staff were very helpful and friendly at both ends. I'll recommend U-haul to anyone considering a move.

John HI returned the vehicle with the tank filled exactly to the 3/4th mark as I was told to return it at, however when he checked my vehicle in, he marked it as 5/8ths full and charged me for two gallons of gas.
PAUL NEquipment had only a 1/4 of a tank and the cab was pretty dirty/sticky. The back of the truck was clean.
Emma RUpon arrival for our reservation, no one was around. This is an automotive store, and one of their employees saw us waiting and helped us. He was very nice, but about 20 minutes into helping us, we saw the Uhaul worker that was supposed to have been there when we arrived. I was very disappointed that even though I made a reservation for a truck, furniture dollies, and moving blankets, that their system didn't receive it correctly. It had listed items I didn't add to the reservation. I'm not sure if it said I reserved dollies, but this location didn't have any available. This set us back 1.5 hours because I had to drive all over town to different Uhaul locations to get dollies. This location should have called ahead and asked if the one they sent me to had them, but they didn't. The automotive guy was very nice, and I think he helped as much as he could for not being a Uhaul employee. I would say the Uhaul end of this location was unprofessional. This setback led to more issues and more stress as we had to visit more locations to get the dollies we needed.
Jaici SVehicle was covered in bugs outside, every piece had damage, it was on E and I was told to bring it back with ¼ tank, we were offered a $16 gas credit but $30 wasn't enough to get to ¼ tank, the moving blanket seal was cut. The truck managed to do what I needed, but for the additional gas expense, mileage change, taxes fees etc. If I needed a truck once a month I might as well just have a payment for something I will own.

SYDNEY BWell..my problem is upon returning the van Im sure my bank card got charged but did I receive a receipt or an email stating my charges and what balance I paid for..nothing of such ..oh but wait I got an email asking for to submit a review, questionnaire..well here it is ...I mean Ive never rented a vehicle and got no receipt statement of charges...on original contract upon renting oh I did get estimates of what charges could be up in the the hand corner...who does that

David EPeople were very friendly, but newer. The process just took a little longer than I would have liked. Ordinarily I don't mind waiting a bit if someone is training, but moving is not a process that allows for long delays...!
