We don't receive the truck really in good condition and after we return it at st-eustache, the guy inspect the truck and told us everything is good, except the fees for the extra kilometre we ad to pay of 15$... after that he send us a bill of fees of 150$ for the cleaning and send us a texto to said to us that we are not good human and not are civilise.. he check our address on google map and said that because of we had a new construction house, that we are in fault !!!!Alex B.

WORST customer service I've experience in my life. The owner of the shop got offended when I said we did not want the insurance. I placed my reservation with the app. Opted-out of the insurance. Once on site, the owners wife put it back in without our consent. When I politely told the owner it must have been a mistake, he started yelling and being agressive. He even said that â€œmy brain wasn't functioning rightâ€. WORST U-Haul experience and overall customer service experience ever.Guerdy A.

I was not happy with the pick-up location since this is not the place I choose on my reservation form. I should have been informed at the time of my reservation, that the vehicle I wanted was not available at that date at the place. I feel like I was framed into this reservation with the confirmation of what I wanted, for then being all changed !!!!! Also, the U-Haul representative was not even wearing a mask !!!!!LISETTE L.

Did my reservation for 8:30 cause I only had until 11:30 to bring my demolition waste to the city waste bin. I called at 8:35 on the number written on the door because nobody was at the office. The person who answered didn't knew about my reservation and told me he would be there in 10 minutes. He arrived at 9:00. Luckyly we were able to make the 2 shipments needed before 11:30 (we arrived at 11:22 for the last shipment). I wouldn't have liked to be obliged to go back another day to finish the work. No hello when we came in, nobody wore mask in the shop. Will not be choosing this location place he next time.Julie C.

I rented a pickup and a trailer. The trailer was not properly installed and the hitch was missing the pin. After 1 miles , the trailer detaches which could have caused an accident. The person from the location came pretty fast and fixed it.Liviu-George D.

When a truck is reserved at a specific location and you change the location since the truck is not available there, please write a more explicit message saying the truck will not be at the reserved spot. I only got a text with the new address, but I didn't check it carefully since nothing indicated that it was not the place I choose to pick up the truck. A clear "WARNING, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but your preferred location is not available. Here is the new address where you will pick up your location : ..." would have been nice. I return the truck at 10H AM, the store was suppose to be open (9am-12 noon) and the store was close, left the keys to the owner son who was shoveling snow. I had to call at 14h30pm (line was redirect to owner cell phone) to had feedback and ask him to close the contract. he had no idea and no information on how I get my refund. I did all the steps by myself by calling UHaul directly and explain 4 times my experience. the store/place did not look cleanPatrick B.
U-Haul try to rip me off by renting an unit that was not filled and by charging thirty three dollars and sixty six cents for EZ-Fuel even though I had put the gauge back to where it was. It was costing me 43,26$ of gas for 38 kilometers. I had to complain to get my money back. U-Haul reading system estimates suggested that we had consumed 27 liters for 38 kilometers for an average consumption of 70,7 l./100 kil. Who could believe that. It is absolutely impossible that we have consumed this quantity, the readers of U-Haul are false and causes harm to customers. The measuring systems of U-Haul is seriously inaccurate and it is hard to believe that it is not made voluntary with all the existing technologies. The tank of the unit must be full before leasing it so there will be no imbroglio about the amount consumed. There is no other way to evaluate precisely the consumption. THE UNIT MUST BE FULL. A complaint will also be made at the Office de la protection du consommateur du QuÃ©bec. It is inadmissible that a company as big as yours does such fraudulent practices.Stefano C.

Please improve your information system; pickup location is confusing even after confirmation. Also, I was charged for insurance when I didn't take it. I tried to select a doley and it wouldn't' work not tell me why. Lastly, return location was â€œNominingueâ€ when there is no one operating in that town. I had to call twice (costumer service is of no help and they transfer you to head office) to get the right info. Good point: the truck works nice and I was giving extra KM to compensate troubles.Samuel S.
