the actual rental location is very clean. Seriously I'm not used to a U-Haul location being this cleanly. the guy at the front desk was knowledgeable and helpful. The truck was standard, nothing special. I will note that the seal on the hand truck broke loose and it slid around. I was not charged for it, however, so I'm not complaining. Truck parking was all full so I had to park it by the front door. It was after-hours so I hope that I made the right choice.Alison J.
The uhaul was filthy when I picked it up. And I didn't even notice it was dirty until I slid my mattresses across the dirt when I started moving. I put $20 worth of gas in and still got charged another $20 because it was a little under where it was when I picked the truck up. That was the last of the money I had and I couldn't fill the tank up anymore. I got charged $150 for this rental, and that's the most I've ever paid for a uhaul. Not happy that I had to pay so much this time around, for a disgustingly filthy truck that ruined my mattresses. Someone obviously didn't even check this truck in before I took it. I'm sure the mileage and the gas gauge were off as well. But I ended up paying for all of that in the end.Reanna E.

I spent the whole morning chasing the truck around as it was promised to me at a certain location. After several phone calls to locate the vehicle and four stops later, not to mention an incredibly rude person who answered the phone, I was told they couldn't help me out. I will not rent from UHaul again or recommend it to anyone I know. Worst service I've received in a very long time.KEVIN M.

The trailer I rented for this weekend had to be re-scheduled several times because the previous renters didn't return on time. Fortunately, U-Haul told us about this in advance of our arrival. But each time, with the help of U-Haul's customer service rep. I had to find another trailer within a reasonable distance from our home in Prescott, WI. But for her professional, pleasant, caring, thorough and calm help, I might have rated my experience with U-Haul a "1". But her help made a "5" rating a no-brainer. Though she remembered my name and situation between calls, I never learned hers. I wish I had because I'd hire her in an instant if I ever have the chance. Watch out, U-Haul! If you don't treat her well, I'll ask her to join my business. So there!JOHN G.

The worker was rude and inept. Upon asking about the hold for cards or cash he was sarcastic and ended up being wrong. Over all a condescending asshole Upon telling him his truck had drive issues his first response was to tell me I did some thing wrong instead of listen to his customer explain how the truck was. Had to pick up truck at one location and drive an hour to pick up trailer. wiring harness for trailer was not working upon connection. Staff fixed issue in short order. Not too happy about the inconvenience of getting trailer. Timing interfered with my pre scheduled UHAUL movers contract.Craig K.

It took 6 hours for us to get a truck I had reserved before hand, three phone calls to customer service (that you sat on hold for over 20 minutes each time, before getting a human),1 visit to another location to get a truck, there was no one on site to help when our truck was stuck behind another truck... and no one in the company could get ahold of a manager for the site or employ who could help with the problem. I had a good experience from the location, but bad experience overall. I booked a truck at the Saint Paul location and the truck was not available for pickup and was relocated to Eagan. I ended up paying much more for mileage and gas along with an extra 45 minute round trip to get the truck and return the truckShane W.

Pick up location was fine. The 24/7 pick up took 30-45 minutes to complete. The approval to get key lock box code took too long. The 30-45 minutes past the pick up time did not add that time on the return time. So I lost 30-45 minutes of the rental time. Needed the additional time. The 24/7 pick up should be smoother and more efficient.Lawrence D.

The only complaint I have is when my pick up / drop off location was changed it added an additional 18 - 20 miles to my driving for the day. So at 1.29 /mile and a couple extra gallons of gas when re-filling the tank, my rental was roughly $30 higher than if my original location (or one closer than the final) was used. I did receive a voicemail the afternoon before the rental but did not notice it until I was already at the initial location.GENE O.
