Location of pick up was not what I had requested. At the new location, the app couldn't verify my location and the bar code for location didn't work either. After trying to "chat" with a yep, I finally was told to call. After being on hold for 10 more minutes, the kind lady told me that the location on the app was hit or miss and that I should use the website instead. This was extremely frustrating as I had 4 people waiting for me to show up with the truck and I was 30 minutes late because of this

Checkin and dropping is very easy and friendly
Venkateswar VasireddiIt was not necessarily the location or the people that worked at the location by any means. The people were nice. The app would not work. I was there at 7:15 AM to pick up my vehicle and working with technical support. It took me until 8:11 AM to be able to obtain my truck. I had paid movers in my house at 8 AM waiting on me. It took until 845 to get there so I lost almost $200 with people sitting at my house waiting on me because I cannot get the truck because the app would not work. The truck had 1/8 of a tank of gas when I got it. I had to put gas in it before ever driving back. That is completely unacceptable. I understand replacing gas that was used but you should have enough gas to at least get the job done! Are used the U-Haul app to hire two additional movers to help me. I’m not sure where U-Haul finds these Movers or recommends these companies. These are two of the slowest people I have ever worked with. They had to have a cigarette break constantly. They would leave to go to the next location when I did but I’m driving a truck and I still get there 30 minutes ahead of them which once again, is completely unacceptable. When I left to come back to reload my truck, we had an already had it well over half reloaded before the two paid movers to U-Haul ever showed back up to my house. Once again, very unacceptable! Maybe it was the perfect storm! I don’t know! All I know that it was a very horrible experience with U-Haul! I would not recommend using U-Haul again. Jim

Emily LittleCheck in process on Saturday was absolutely ridiculous-Uhaul needed to call 2 additional contacts in order for me to pick up the truck. Whoever called the contact numbers just hung up abruptly without telling us why she was calling. It took close to an hour for the whole check in process which was incredibly inconvenient. And then we were charged a fuel fee plus a fuel service fee. Approx $60-that just seems unnecessary when I only used a little less than was what in when I picked up the truck. I probably won’t be renting from uhaul again.

Kira RoxyThe truck does not break well, makes an ugly noise if you push the breaks and the engine has not being started. Starts shaking so bad at 60 mph. That location is so far away for me living in Inver grove heights and I had to go there only because I wanted the bigger truck if asked for the next lower size I could have picked it up like 2 minutes from where I live. Most of the mileage distance I paid was just to go pickup the truck and return it to your location.

We had to pay for 3 extra miles, yet we gave U-Haul over one gallon of FREE gas for the next customer. For better customer service they should not have charge us for the extra 3 miles for $3.21 versus the $4.00 extra gas we left in the vehicle. Maybe we should send U-Haul a bill? Cancel the $3.21 on our credit card they charged us for!harge for!

Michael PadgettThe two dollys I rented were not in the truck. I reached out to customer service for possibly picking one up elsewhere and they said I need to talk to the business about it when they reopen on Monday. My rental was Friday to Saturday. So I never got the dollys. The drop down ramp was frozen into place with 2 inches of ice encasing the ramp under the truck. I had to chisel away at the ice for an hour to get the ramp loose. Then once I loaded the truck I couldn’t lock it for the overnight because the padlock key hole was filled with ice.
