The car trailer was kinda broken. One side would not extend out to the ground. Didn’t know this until we got to La Grande. Not sure how she would know this. I don’t think this is the fault of the Mountain Home location. U-Haul assured me over the phone that II would get help getting my car on the trailer safely. Rock and Sons in La Grande was unhelpful and rude about helping me get the car on the trailer and getting it safely connected. The heavy set guy that I think was the manager said he would only tell me what to do and that I had to do it myself. I’ve never worked with this equipment before and struggled to connect the straps. A younger skinnier guy in his twenties helped me get the car on and to secure the straps. However he sent me on my way without the chains connected. I had no idea the chains had to be secured to the car as well at the time. When I returned the truck and trailer to Salem the worked there was flabbergasted that I drove the whole way with just the straps. He said I was very lucky not to have had a bad accident as parts of the highway had lots of turns and incline/decline. Also the truck battery seemed to be on its last legs. It was hard to start and barely started in 2 locations. I was afraid to turn the truck off. The unprofessional interaction with Rock and Sons took place on Thursday the 25th of June. His attitude was “the city boy wants help for free and we don’t do that, good luck”. This is not a quote just how I felt. I’ve never towed anything in my life so I didn’t know much. The younger guy was nice and helpful and did more than his boss wanted but he didn’t seem to know about the most important part, the chains.

Eran GAutumn Enterprises was very helpful and I recommend them highly. However this was the second dealer I went to get my truck. The first one, C&A Automotive did not assign me a truck as promised and was not open on Saturday. I had to contact UHaul directly and have them look for a vehicle. This resulted in about a 45 minute delay in getting the equipment and having hired movers waiting for me. UHaul made it right but it never should have happened.
DAVID LA little muddy in the parking lot? Our shoes and therefore the vehicle got muddy on account of that. Other than that, everything was A-OK.
Trina SWe didn't want to pick up at this location - there isn't anything wrong with the location necessarily, but Uhaul basically forced us to drive from Boise to Mountain Home and back to get the size truck we reserved and that is bad business.

CATHIE GLady didn’t know what she was doing. Said we had to log in online to get our reservation. Then wouldn’t let my driver take the truck because he was 20 which has never been a problem. Made us late to customers house.
