Everything at the location was great… from checking in, to picking up, and then to the drop off; the staff was very nice and went over everything with great detail being sure to offer things like boxes, moving blankets, etc. My only concerns were the inside of the windshield was not as clean as I would think it should be, making driving with the sun on the windshield not easy; and I wished the truck had a side step, it was a little difficult to get in and out of.

Len WNot sure why they couldn't location my reservation with the ordered blankets and boxes? Even though I selected the following and submitted same during my online reservation: 1. Pickup (Sonora) & return (1327 W. Texas, Fairfield, CA) locations; only to be told erroneously there isn't any return location in my reservation! I could not believe this. 2. 1 dozen of blankets. 3. 20pcs of box different size boxes. I was told this location that they couldn't locate return location, blankets & boxes; I was shocked and this took quite sometime as an elderly gentleman came to assist the baffled young lady. I wasn't amused.

Wendy CThe front desk staff and the crew were both very helpful and provided great service. However, the truck’s maintenance was concerning; the brake pads were severely worn. I had to press the pedal all the way to the floor to come to a stop. While the brakes handled fine on flat ground, they felt unsafe in a city like Sonora, where the steep elevations and winding descents require brakes in top condition. Had no option but to use it.

STEVEN PThey are obviously extremely experienced. Just get to work and get it done. I am almost 79 years old and pulled a 6x10 trailer from Michigan to Sonora in 3 days. Absolutely no problems. Those hydraulic brakes were not on the last trailer I pulled—and they are fantastic—felt so much safer. Just drove, no worries. Same location who installed a hitch on the jeep I had them — probably 2 decades ago when I need a u-haul. Thanks guys!

LUIS CWhen we call and booked with Austin at the Jamestown location in January and called back to confirm he said the truck was not going to be there and hung up on me , then wouldn’t answer the phone after that! Something was strange about his customer service. Thank you for setting up a truck pick up at a new location!
