There was nobody in attendance. I had to call and wait. I asked to change my pickup and drop off date and time. The pickup time changed but the drop off time didn't so I paid for a day I didn't use. The attendant was doing everything on an iPhone and wasn't able to figure out how to change it. He said: 'Don't worry, you can fix it on the U-Haul website". My overall experience with Uhaul was horrible. My first booking cancelled on me even though I booked a whole day. My second reservation, no one was there to assist me.Nyla G.
For UHaul in general there needs to be better communication across the board. For the individual places that rent out uhaul (ex: gas stations or small businesses/stores. I had a reservation for a good two weeks. When I went to pick up my truck they told me there was an issue with the truck and I couldn't take it and to try a different location. It would have been nice to be told that prior to my pick up date so I'm not driving all over town trying to find a uhaul to rent. Next, once I was able to find another truck to rent after losing so much time on move in day, the guy I renter from act like he didn't want to help a single customer. I signed up for customer service that way I am talking to an actually person if there is an issue. A group of us were calling and waiting outside to all rent our trucks however there was an issue with the Uhaul website. The man finally came out and was short with customers including myself. Upon returning the truck (our original reservation was for 24 hrs but he changed it to 6), the website still was not working and the guy refused to come out and insisted I leave the key in the mailbox and he would check me in later. Terrible customer service. Also, we calling the general uhaul number no one ever picks up! This was my first time using uhaul and after this experience it might be my last.Said A.

There was an exceptionally helpful man who happened to be there working on a different uHaul who helped me through the rental process. Besides him, there was no one at this site and there was no parking for my vehicle, which had not been told to me when I was told I had to rebook to this location. No signal for internet to pick up and turn in truck. Signed up for counter service reservation but nobody present and needed internet. Truck was suppose to have dolly in it per reservation agreement and payment for it but it was not. Even though associate told me on phone he "thinks it should be in there". Had to go to different uhaul across town to get dolly. Finally was able to start moving 4 and a half hours after my reservation was made for, due to lack of proper communication and service on uhaul's end. I never received an email or text or call saying my pickup location was changed. I went to the original place and then we had to call uhaul together to figure out what was going on. I went to the new pick up location and it was an abandoned building with a phone number for service. I called the number about 20 times and the voicemail was full. I called uhaul and the rep had to call 3 different numbers to finally get an answer as to what to do for me. This was a horrible experience and the worst I've ever had with uhaul... Or with any moving truck company for that matter. Absolutely ridiculous.SANG Y.

This was a miserable experience. I reserved online, but when I arrived the door was locked and there were no instructions. However, after I was there 10 minutes a person came out, took a key out of a drop box and put it in a lockbox, said â€œCOVIDâ€ and webt back in and locked the door. He didn't offer to help! I called U Haul, was on hold for several minutes and finally talked to someone who told me to watch video that she then sent me! Incredible! TO THE CEO OF U HAUL : This online process is horrible. Way too many steps; way too much information gathering on the renter. You need to set this up like car rental companies operate. Much smoother process needed. I could go on with needed changes to your website, locations, and customer expectations and disappoints. Call me.Daniel D.

It's hard to know where to park. When I returned my vehicle, someone had parked their car in front of the building and it was unclear where I should go so that I did not block traffic.Michelle D.
It took me 1 1/2 hours to complete my pick up because of self checkout that U-haul has put into to practice. The app was not working, and the clerk at the store had no idea how to use it or correct the issue. I had to call customer service for help, and they had to send me the code to open the lock box. This process was entirely too long. Again, 1 1/2 hours waiting for u-haul to fix the issues.ERIC G.

The whole experience was awful. The original location was a mile from me. When I got to that location (Peachtree Rd), my reservation was â€œcanceled â€œ. They did not have a truck for me and sent me the the Clarendon Rd location which was 10 miles out of my way. With traffic it took me 40 min. It was an unmanned location and the U-Haul app was â€œexperiencing high volume â€œ and it took me an hour and a half to get the code to unlock the lockbox. Horrible experience.Cindy D.

The location was filthy. Spider webs and trash all over inside. Obviously no heat . Clerk had space heater running. Took awhile to get assistance. No one came to door. Had to call then clerk answered door. Felt very uncomfortable inside location The clerk was very nice although English was poor and had trouble with his phone in registering me. Told to drop key in box when returned 10 foot truck. Returned that evening. Received an email today that equipment had not been returned. After long hold time the agent was able to resolve issue. Rental was in a dilapidated house where there was a note on the door with a phone number to contact someone. No rental agreement was provided after payment because they had no printer. My problem is not with the facility but with U-Haul itself, for refusing to allow me a one-way rental, or to give me a two day rental on a smaller truck, costing me an extra $200 with an excuse for every option that would not cost me unnecessary mileage and gasoline, telling me there were no trucks available when I'm driving past U haul centers with lots full of trucks, having me pick up my truck at an abandoned building where I have to phone someone to come meet me, and drop it off to no one, when there is a U-Haul Center right down the street Where I could've left my vehicle safely. Telling me there was no one-way rental available within 60 miles of Cumming Georgia which is 40 miles from Atlanta, where I drive past dozens of U-Haul places every day . You hustled me out of an extra $200 this time, it won't happen againrobert S.

This location is a shady company. They will scam you out of your money. This is a third party. They also LIARS! Just to get more money out of you. My experience was the worst i ever encounter. The manager or guy on duty is lying saying i never return the uhaul. Who keeps a uhaul to drive as a personal vehicle. I have my own car so what will i need with a uhaul truck. Then this truck was not up to part in maintenance. I would not recommend anyone to the location. The office is abandoned house with car parts all over the floor. First, this location is an absolute mess. Holes in the walls and ceiling, no door handle anywhere and a sofa full of random items I would never sit on. "Somehow", I was told by the attendant that he couldn't complete my reservation unless I was taking the $14 insurance. It was made clear that I would get a refund for that $14. Of course, I never got a refund even after talking to the attendant on numerous occasions. Made a complaint to the Uhaul office and even the manager didn't bother to call back.
