Lee TThe location is great. The uhaul website and call center was over capacity on Saturday when I picked up the truck which caused a 30 minute delay.
Bryan HWaited 3 hours for truck …claimed services were down. Lady in office rude and no help and then no dolly inside but still charged for it. Entire rental should be refunded! Never use uhaul again and did I mention this is my 5th rental at uhaul this year ! No more!!
Gary jTook over an hour. Uses iPads but no WiFi so you have to walk 50+ feet “to the yellow pole” to get a signal and come back. Repeat this at every step of checkin. They said there was a major U-Haul outage which made it worse. Check-in was a small trailer with only room for one customer at a time so everyone had to wait outside over an hour. I was given the wrong truck too but after being delayed 1.5 hours I took whatever I could get to get out of there. To get the keys we got a code to walk to a lockbox by the highway (far away). It was the most odd experience and several people were wondering how this place is really a business. I’ll be calling to get a refund because this was awful. I know there will be others calling too.

I did not get an email, text, or phone call that you changed my location. And, you moved it across a toll bridge to Destin on a Saturday. TRAFFIC. My dentist bothers me for weeks about my appointment. What steps did you take to let me know?
Barry WThe only real issue I had was that the 6 X 12 trailer did not have a jack to raise and lower the tongue of the trailer. All else was very good.
Frank JI would never recommend this location to anyone. No one was there. We were unable to access the online service due to no Internet connection. They have all one star reviews. This place should be shut down. They tried to charge me for multiple charges and dropping off late after I dropped it off on time and then tried to charge me another $15 for accidental coverages which I already paid the first time they charge me $112 twice on my credit card of which I had to dispute. Please do not go to this location.
Kelly DThe lady in the site wasn’t friendly threatened to return the truck within six hours and if the truck is not returned by then she will report the truck stolen, which is U-Haul provide 24 hour rental.
AIMEN SLocation was great. The truck was great. Pricing was very reasonable. Rating overall would have been better…IF… it hadn’t of taken over an hour to rent the truck and over an hour to return the truck. Due to very poor reception for your phone. So hard to download the app. No reception. Couldn’t drive down the road to try to get better reception…you had to be onsite. Ended up calling the U-HAUL number for assistance. They were able to help. It also would have been nice to be able to rent a handtruck and furniture pads…but no one was onsite on Saturday.
ANGIE LThis location is a scam. A few weeks ago they charged me for missing blankets which I did return. Today they charged me a $15 cleaning fee for a trailer. The trailer was returned in the same condition I rented it. I would never recommend this location but it is the only return point in Freeport. Total joke. I have had to report them to my credit card company twice.

Meredith CI had a drop off location that was one hour away after an 11 hr drive which we were unaware off since it was our first time going to this place. I called the National line that gave me the State Line for U-Haul and they fixed it immediately which I totally appreciate that. Thank you so much. I will use U-Haul again!!

Mike II booked a week in advance at a closer location only to find out the day before pickup that the location was closed. The lady at BJ’s was helpful in explaining the circumstance and guided me thru the inconvenience. Little irked about why the system didn’t pick up the error at Moll Dr, location in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. location.

andy dIt’s not really anything location can do but checking in with the mobile app was a little problematic just due to the Internet service in our area. However, when we returned the vehicle later that night, checking it back in, went smoothly and oddly enough, the Internet didn’t give us any trouble.

John BThis comment is to UHAUL not the location. The pricing is extremely expensive so cutting the price is the only suggestion I have.
Brianna KThe trailer did have a bit of dirt still on it, so I understand a cleaning fee, but the sticker on the trailer stated a $15 fee, I was charged $25. Also, an "after hours service fee" of $20, that was never mentioned, there was nobody present at the lot, and the trailer was placed exactly where it was picked up from as requested. I was overcharged by $30 when the rental was $48. I will never use this service again, and I will suggest others use any other available location as well.

Carolyn Wmake it easier to check in equipment at this "primitive" site. I was charged an additional late drop-off fee even though I had returned the equipment well before it was due...because it was highly confusing on how to check in and it was not explained well at pick up!
danny sPut more lighting up. At night it’s very dark and seems unsafe. Are their security cameras? You can’t see the location from the road, especially at night. A road side sign would also be a benefit.
Mark MDirty truck. First one 20’ didn’t have keys. I tried to rent a 26’ and it said none were available on app, yet the yard was full of that size. There is no signage, nor lighting. Truck smelled like a dirty ash tray and was dirty inside. The gas was at 1/4 of a tank. I will never rent here again.

MICHAEL KWas charged an “After hours fee” and there was nobody there when I dropped off the trailer. This was after taking the time to put the trailer where I was told to be a convenience to the worker. There was no convenience to me yet I was charged a bogus fee for it.
Bradley MThe site was very well organized, with signs directing where equipment was to be parked by size and type. The keys drop off and other items were clearly displayed, and the size was well sized to maneuver the trucks into position. Great location.
Martin SThe drive area is very bumpy. I’ve rented trucks and trailers here and it will rick a truck unless you go really slow and it bounces a car and trailer.

Melvin FDidn’t have trailer ready when it was supposed to be. Then I told them I would drop it off at 5pm. Was given a total and she never mentioned an after hours drop off fee. I dropped it before 5PM and got my receipt the next day with this charge. Ridiculous.
SHANNON PI booked at Santa Rosa Beach location but got bumped to Freeport location. Hours of operation at limited so I had to adjust my schedule and of course it rained on the morning o could come. Lady on the phone was brash and gruff. Equipment was fine. A little explanation of how to use the straps for a car hauler would have been nice. But I get it he didn't want to be in the rain. Me either and I wouldn't have had to if you had been open past noon. Office not clearly marked. Was not sure where to go. In a cargo trailer in the back but everything says BJ bait and tackle.

Mark MThere is no lighting in that lot. You can’t even see where you’re at and there’s no service. It’s a dead zone. I couldn’t even upload pictures. Couldn’t even get on U-Haul website. It was a completely dead zone which led me there longer than I needed to be
MARCI DIt’s just a big self service dirt lot so how do you answer “clean and inviting.” There was no one there and there has not been anyone there on my last three rentals. It is reasonably well organized but not a good location if you might have any trouble unhooking. It is very rough driving into the lot. Dropping here is better than sending me 30 miles away which was the only option your app offered when I booked. There is a lot just two miles from my destination but NO it seems to be invisible for dropping off.

michael cUhaul drop off location staff person,/mgr ran the business in a smart professional manner. uhaul truck gas mileage was unexpectedly wonderful. The big truck outlasted some cars with the long gas mileage. The return location had an upstanding person in charge. For the next customer, please have a review rating for the companies that contract to load or unload the truck.
Kathy SThe verification process was not customer friendly. Asking to verify by calling other family or friends is not a good process. Had I known prior to arrival I could have prepared better. With that said it was frustrating. Not to mention I had sketchy internet connection at the location which made it difficult to upload photos. Just a frustrating experience but overall I got what I needed and delivered the truck back with no issues.

JOSEPH AThere is little to no cellphone service at this location. I was charged for 3 gallons of fuel when I refueled the truck before the return. I reported the issue at the pickup and provided a photo of the fuel level online. I drove less than 10 miles so the fuel charge should have been a red flag for the attendant. I should not have been charged. I’m sure terrible cellphone service at that location allowed some photos to not be received at U-Haul. Glad I took my own photos. I’ve submitted them to upper management. I don’t recommend this location at all.

Tammy GThe location is in a field that has no lights at night. The staff was not helpful when returning/checking out equipment. Very poor wifi service so picking up/ returning a vehicle on the app is almost impossible. Unsafe when picking up/returning at night. I returned equipment at night. Had to call customer service to verify time and location of drop off. I would not recommend this location.Not only for local rentals but for customers out of state returning/ checking out equipment. Location is hard find especially after dark.
Rich MWhen I called to see if would accept my one way rental truck female who answered said yes, to make sure truck is backed in like other trucks, drop key in box and that they would not be open when I drop it off. Did everything as told. Was not told I would be charged almost $22 for dropping off after hours. I dropped the truck off about 4 pm on Friday. No one told me because they were closed that I would get charged more money! Not happy. Poor business practice.
