The only way to pick up the vehicle as to do it online. I did so via the U-Haul web link which took some time as it required a lot of information, only to get an error at the end. I was told by the agent at the station that the process only worked via the U-Haul app, so I had to do this all over again. After 30 minutes, the pickup was finally approved. I was then surprised to learn that I could not leave my car at the gas station even though there were plenty of empty parking spaces. Not only was I late due to the long pickup process, but I had to drive across a busy intersection and park at a shopping center and hope that my car did not get towed. None of these inconveniences were posted on the website for the rental pickup location. I give the pickup and customer service 0 stars. Do better U-Haul.
Daniel Du-haul moved pick up to this location the day before the pickup. The location was out of the way for me and required an uber. After arriving at the location which is a gas station, the male representative had extremely poor customer service. I'm 65 and did not appreciate being moved and than the male acted like he was doing me a favor. I waited for the female to finish checking me in which increased the amount for the rental to $751.30 vice the original $684.26. The moving help was previously paid on the 20th in the amt of $135.95. The male followed me outside and continued to argue with me, calling me names and cursing. The truck is in poor service battery is at half volt, gas was at 174mil less than 1/2 a tank and oil indicator shows low (picture of dashboard is available). Will not use this company again.

Ronald TWhen I arrived, I called the number in the U-Haul App for the Barcroft Shell and the man told me I cannot leave my truck there. I told him that his Shell is listed in the app and the phone number he picked up from is listed in the app. He stood on his stance that I couldn’t drop it off there. I then called U-Haul Customer Support and they said based on my location I’m at the right place. After walking around the location I saw a locked fenced area with a U-Haul signage that said “Scan Here” but the QR code didn’t work. Eventually the clerk came out of the Shell and said he will open the gate for me to drop off the truck. Not sure what changed between then and five minutes earlier when he told me I can’t park the truck there. I’m glad I didn’t have to drive 30 minutes to the next drop off location after spending the last 10 hours moving, but had the clerk not had a sudden epiphany before I drove off, that’s exactly what I would have had to do. Avoid this place, consider dropping off at an actual U-Haul facility.
