There was no one in the office when I arrived and another person was ahead of me and said he'd been waiting over 10 minutes. Maybe put up a sign that you will be back soon or something. When he finally got back inside he said he was out back cleaning out a truck, etc. I had also left 3 voice mails regarding our rental over 2 days and finally rec'd a call back. It's a one man show, I get it but still.

Fill gas tanks up before rental. Mine only had a quarter tank when I picked it up and immediately had to go the the gas station. A better policy is to have customers fill up the tank before returning so the next person can start with a full tank

The truck was completely cleaned out when we returned it. That said, we were charged a $25 sweep out fee which was clearly done to make the rental store extra money.

Lower the price on the cost per mile.I paid $150 for the truck rental & $700+ on the mileage charge.I was shocked when I saw that bill.And,because of that issue alone I will not be a returning customer & will tell other people to be prepared.The trucks cup holder was broken & our drink fell on the floor & spilled & we immediately had to get gas because the tank was on empty.Everything got changed.We rented a15' truck but was switched to a 26'truck.We were told they were the same price of $30 a day.We were charged $50 per day.We also originally were to pick up the truck in West Chicago & that also was changed to Batavia.

the before paper work takes too long and wastes 30min of your rental time. and uhaul should gas it up so customers dont have to worry about adding fuel which takes more of your time away.

parts of the app did not work and I had to go into a location. Location services were great, but rather do all on the app.

Window was down on the driver's side and it had rained overnight so the seat was all wet. Also gas tank was at 42 miles until empty. After I found a towel to put down on the seat I drove straight to a gas station. Not the start to the rental I was hoping for.

I was charged a 15 clean up fee. I didn’t even use the inside of the box trailer. I only used it for towing. Why was I charged for clean up?

Have key boxes that work

A couple of items. In very cold weather the back doors should be opened daily. It took us 30 minutes to get the door open as it was frozen shut. Secondly, we couldn’t see the mileage because the Check Airbag message was in its place. Thank you,

I returned the device the same day I rented it from a small mom and pop mail shop in Batavia. I realized I had to put down extra deposit because I used a payroll type prepaid card. However I got the receipt and I was charged for two days and I still haven’t gotten a refund of my deposit I want my money back.

STAY AWAY! This location is fraudulent and poorly run! Not to mention, they don't care about the appearance of their business in any way. You walk in and most of the lights are burned out with only a few working bulbs. What a disgrace. When we went to return the truck, the location door was unlocked, and there was a sign on the door saying they would be back in 10 minutes. So we patiently waited. After more than 10 minutes, they called our cell phone and told us to leave before they called the police. They forgot to lock their own door, and somehow that was our fault. On my online reservation, I purposefully declined all coverage. But yet somehow, they billed me $15 for additional coverage. And because they couldn't be bothered to show up on the dropoff, they just went ahead and charged us. Finally, the truck had 1/4 tank of gas, they said bring it back with a 1/4 of gas. We did, we purchased $30 of gas and we only drove the vehicle about 150 miles. They also charged us $30 for gas and $8 for some BS Gas fee. I will be filing a BBB complaint, a Yelp Review, and a report to the IL Attorney General for fraud. These kinds of businesses that lie, cheat and steal have no place in our society. Please avoid.

Similar to above. Only one person was working so he couldn't check in the trailer. He said just drop it in back. Seemed sketchy. However he was polite about it. You don't ask but Uhaul Corporate is terrible to deal with. 40 minute hold times on the phone. Calls dropping after being on hold for long times. Unable to confirm reservations until the night before, even though there were 6 identical trailers to what we rented when we showed up. Your computer system and app were unable to send me text messages so I was unable to do self check ins. I tried dropping the trailer at another site and the guy working didn't know how to do the check in. He said they have only been doing Uhaul rentals for two weeks and you just dropped the truck without any training.

Your app is faulty. It failed to upload photos after repeated attempts. The mobile app features do not line up with the website options. For example, adding and editing additional equipment doesn’t work reliably on the mobile app.
