One of the worst U-Haul reps place! They charged us for an extra day because they did not register the drop off properly! They had it looking as if we dropped off the U-Haul several hours past the time it should have been there. U-Haul refunded us for this error! There was a very rude lady who work there, who walked by my husband and I several times when absolutely no acknowledgement!!! She was on the pH with someone. We stood there was several minutes. I ended having to say "excuse me we're making sure this U-Haul is reflected that it was dropped off on time"!! I said "bc you act like you don't even see us standing here"!!! Then she proceeds to tell me she's on the pH with a customer and her boss. I told her I didn't care, she was rude!!! I've worked in customer service for years and plenty customers have seen me on the pH and I've always acknowledged them, it truly goes a long way!!!! She knows I specifically mentioned the time and they were still nasty putting it in as if the truck was used several hours over!!! Thank God we had a great U-Haul rep who contacted this crappy place and we were refunded. We were charged 19.95 for gas bc the line was slightly below the mark according to the U-Haul rep. It's what it is about the gas. We'll happily pay that vs the nearly $100 they lied about!!! Needless to say, I'll never give this place my business or recommend anyone there!!! U-Haul really needs to do better about who they contract with. These places just was a few dollars they make renting those trucks!! Some fool called themselves responded to the 1star review I posted about the experience. They had the audacity to say a video is available of how I spoke to the women. That was laughable to me. I said please post it and while you're at it, let that video also show that U-Haul truck was dropped off in time!! What a bunch of crooks!!! Absolutely never will I turn up in that place again!!!

Vladimir DThe trailer had cockroaches. We did not notice until we were loading the trailer. I had to leave that day, so I rolled the dice and used the trailer anyway. Luckily, all of my stuff was properly contained, so they did not get into my boxes. Additionally, the trailer was missing a stand, so it had to be rested on the ground when we detached it from the truck.

DAVID EI was very impressed with the local employee Keke at Batten's during my Uhaul rental. She was kind, communicative and easy to work with. She assisted with our check out and check-in process. I was hesitant to call this location based on other interactions I have had in the past for other business concerns. Keke was a game changer. When I need a Uhaul rental, I will ask for her by name going forward! Give her raise!

TANTALAYN DI had issues with the mobile app pick up. Website was not working correctly and the representative at the location had a sign on the door for their lunch break, the representative never returned bck to the location, I had to call customer service line for help. Unacceptable. NOT GOOD BUSINESS. THAT IS THE 2ND AND LAST TIME I RENT IN THAT CITY.

RANDOLPH MI really dislike writing bad reviews, and I can't even remember the last time I wrote one. Unfortunately, I think this warrants it. From the first moment I arrived, it wasn't a welcoming experience. They didn't seem happy to be there. Not everyone is a morning person, so I'll chalk that up to lack of coffee or something else. As I was waiting, I saw the ex-FUEL OPTIONS card sitting on the counter. Option 1 is self-refueling, and option 2 is ez-FUEL SERVICE. I inquired about option 2 and was told they don't do that. I suggested removing the card and they said no because people need to read it. Didn't make sense to me. The gentleman went and blew out the back of the truck and I was given the keys. Did what I needed to do and the mom of one of the kids helping asked about the rental. She is an employee of U-Haul and gave me her employee discount code to use when I dropped it back off. When I dropped it back off, I informed the employee at Battens I had an employee discount code and she very quickly told me they don't do discounts there and kept on walking. I left, but when I got home I realized I left a pair of sunglasses in the truck. I called and asked if they found them, and she said she did. I asked when they closed and I had about 35 minutes to get up there before they closed. She did say that if they left before I got there, she could leave them on the drop box if that was okay. I was very thankful for that gesture, and honestly, that's the only reason they are getting a two star instead of a one. When I got back up there, I asked if the truck was satisfactory, to which she replied that it had fake Christmas tree needles in the back. She let me know that she tried to upload a picture so she could charge me a $25 fee, but it didn't upload, so she wasn't able to charge me. How nice of her. I personally won't be using them again, and I will be sure to let everyone I know who is thinking of renting a U-Haul to not use them as well, as the customer services was very lacking. No issues with the truck though, so that was a plus.

CLAY MThe person at the desk was rude and confrontational. When I went to pick up the truck she said I was late and she didn't know if she still had it (she did). I said to her I told you when I made the reservation in person with her that I wouldn't pick up until 10:30 or 11 am. She said very rudly I'll get my boss to play back the tape. When I showed her the reservation with the time on it she said someone must have changed it. I had also made a reservation online for 2 days earlier and when I went there she said I don't have that truck or any truck available. Blamed it on online reservations. No concern of hers! I'll never use them again and wish I had just walked out.
