Experience with Mobile pick up was very inconvenient. I had to wait for an hour to pick up the truck after even choosing mobile pick up. When I reached the spot/ location the page said you need wait for the office to open. Mobile pick up is utter nonsense. And I was not even compensated for this inconvenience. We came from out of town and since the UHaul trucks are parked behind the residential mini mart we thought we had the incorrect address. I would recommend that a description of the pickup place and the fact that UHaul vehicles will not be visible might help.Charlene L.
I did all the online paper work and when i went to get the truck, the woman there just asked my name and never checked the paper work I had with me. I asked her,"Are you going to check this ? " She said."No". Gave us the number to get the key to the truck and we got the truck and left. Found out later she was SUPPOSED to give me papers about the truck etc. She didn't care. They need someone who knows what they are to do. She was a foreign person.Marion S.

Store clerk on duty not trained for uhaul returns..I had to wait over 25 min for someone to come from where ever as they were the only ones who were trained or knew how to close out a u haul account that was not on a credit card to refund the deposit. Then they still took another 25 min just to check out the truck and issue deposit refund. I would have been scared to return a truck there if it was on a credit card cause God only knows what your card might be charged with since it would not have been processed until sometime Monday. Without the customer there, and I have had bad experiences with uhaul drop locations over charging on credit cards days later n U Haul corporate says they will look into it n never do or will not return my callsDavid E.
The unit was dirty before we picked it up, the employee who rented us the unit could only accept visa as the Uhaul debit machine was broken. The unit handled like it was pulling g to the right and the steering was loose. The gas in the truck was marked on the bill as half full but was more accurately 1/4 full.Ashley D.
The truck I reserved broke down so then you decided to just cancel my reservation and not even tell me. I called 2 months in advance for this truck and my gut said I should call just to make sure everything is good the day before and then I was told it was cancelled without informing me. I had several people ready to help me move and then I had to tell them they had to change their plans. Uhaul said there was nothing they could do and just apologized and give me a 50$ reimbursement which I never received. I will never use your service again and I will tell everyone I know the same.Mark O.

Reservation pick up location and truck size were changed at the last minute. Confirmation message said the truck would be available at 0800 but this store does not open until 0830 and in fact no one arrived until 0840. The store personnel were unapologetic and surly.Stephen L.

The attendant at the store did not know what to do about receiving the truck. She tried to reach out to someone for help but didn't get anyone. I said that there should be a box to drop the key and she didn't know of one so she said I could leave it with her and I parked the truck in the parking lot. The truck was returned on time. It wasn't until I returned to the house an hour later (directly across from the Mini Mart) that I realized the drop off was behind the Mini Mart and then I found the drop box. There were other trucks parked there but she didn't seem to know anything about that. I took the key back from her and dropped it in the box. Now it looked like it was an hour late so I was charged for another day rental! Not fair and not professional!Suzanne M.

I used the 24 hour drop off box after hours so I did not interact with anyone at drop off. The availability of the after hours drop off was helpful and there were no issues. I received my invoice the next morning. Wonderful option for convenient service.Lisa C.

Again the agent and location wet very good. Again your on line system was flawed. Before starting the actual rental of the truck I had received notification that I would 171 km would be covered by the contract due to the distance we had to travel to pick up the truck. At the time the truck was dropped off the distance covered by the contact changes to less than the 171 Km.Danial N.

In terms of equipment (the truck), it should be maintained and be checked for leaks, as some of my boxes ended up getting wet, as it was raining on my moving day. The individual in the Beckworth Mini Mart was very helpful, and provided excellent customer service.Heather R.

When we arrived at 12:40 pm there was a sign on the door that said they would be back at 3:00 pm. No phone number to contact anyone. After three calls to unsullied help number(we went thru voice mail hell and were put on hold and call terminated twice), the haul attendant said we could leave trailer out back with other trailers.Robert M.

Originally was supposed to pick up at Forest City Storage Maitland St 277 Maitland St London, ON N6B3N4 at 930 am, they had no trucks and said I had to wait until 130pm. Sent me 10 km to another location to get a smaller truck than i had asked for which I didnt get until 1130. Completely threw off my whole day, with movers/elevator booking. Cannot believe that Uhaul would run their business like this, unacceptable.Neven V.

There were some problems getting their system to work with Visa to allow the charge to go through on my Visa card. The staff were all extremely helpful and patient as they worked to get the charge to workNELLIE P.
I am so disappointed with the way our move went. I booked in St. Thomas in advance, to not have any problems. The day before the move I was advised the truck would not be available till 3:30. When I personally stopped to speak to them, I was told that a truck was due back at 9 a.m., but they couldn't guarantee it. Next thing I know I receive a call from uhaul, saying they could guarantee a truck at one location in London, which I agreed to. When we went to pick it up, they had no truck, and sent us to another location, which didn't even open till 9. What a frustrating waste of time, on a day that is stressful enough. I am a real estate agent and have been recommending you people for years. I am now re-thinking that as I always strive to be professional, on time, and do as I say I will. The location attendant was very helpful but the UHaul system was brutal! I did everything on line prior to pickup thinking that would be helpful and efficient. But, when I arrived, I had to provide payment details and other validation methods again. Further, I waited about 20 minutes for the contract to print, which it never did. All the while the attendant was on the phone with the help desk trying to resolve. This is the second time in as many years that UHaul system has failed. Equipment has been generally ok.Dave A.

We were told our pickup was at 8:30am when the location didn't open till 9am. The lady at Beck worth was rude and it took her forever to help us when I did express check in. We didn't get to our place until 9:45am when we had the elevator from 9-noon. We could not finish our move.Diane R.
