Make sure they are told the drop off location could be in a different town than the one they’re moving to. Or just let the customer drop it off in the town they’re moving to.

This location was not what I was shown online, it was a secondary location out of the way. The person there while polite did not seem to know what was going on and quoted me the wrong price and charged another. He was also unwilling to accept cash for my uhaul which was an option given online. Not only was this miles out of my way but the entire proccess put us hours behind in schedule for when people were available to help us move. I would not recommend this uhaul location to anyone. Uhaul needs to find a better secondary location if they are going to make reservations and then change them. I have used Uhaul, penske, and Budget in the past and never had this many issues. Need to fulfill promises made online. Online price was guaranteed yet still had extra fees that were not quoted. thats not including the extra 100 the clerk tried to charge and could only tell me "I have to do what the computer says .. i can't change it" I even tried to call the Uhaul area manager and could not get through. Overall it was not a good experience.

Person at hotel was not familiar with computer checkout. No help at all with trailer hookup. Person was very nice but did not know about Uhaul process or equipment.

Mr. Patel did all he could to get me a replacement auto transport. He was not efficient with the computer and did not know how to hook the transport up. His boss, Devin, belittled him over the phone and to me. I understand he was frustrated but that is not how you treat people.

The online options might use some quality check. From reserving a trailer and checkingf it out, I had to load address and credit card information muliple times. I almost quit and was about to switch to another vendor.

we were originally supposed to get this trailer from the Sioux Falls location where the confirmation email said it was guaranteed to be there when we went to pick it up and when we got there they said they only had one auto trailer in del rapids...? And no one working could pick it up and bring it to the Sioux Falls location... so we ended up making the time in our already busy schedules (since it was moving day) to drive to del rapids in a storm... yeah it’s a half hour drive but picking up the trailer was also another half hour and none of the prices we were quoted for the trailer and the truck was the price we ended up paying... I felt like they didn’t really care about our time.. they gave us a 40 dollar credit for the trip to del rapids but that was an hour we could have spent saying goodbye to our families and also packing since we were leaving right away the next morning to move across the country... didn’t appreciate the added stress when it could have been avoided by just having the equipment at the correct location that we reserved a month in advance... also the dolly we rented wasn’t even in the truck so that was another trip back to the Sioux Falls location we had to make to pick it up when they said it was in the back of the truck...
