Make it mandatory that employees do all set-up on equipment. Our guy said your regulations prohibited him from putting chains on vehicle using car transport trailer! Bad idea! Only an experienced person should be doing that!Paul C.

The seat belt alarm stayed on the the entire time. I latched all 3 seat belts, and it still rang out. Thank goodness I had a loud radio.bob R.
There was a dolly in the truck, but we did not request one, nor did we use it but were charged for it anyway. We were in a hurry to move some couches and entertainment center and due to the rain, we thought paying the $19.95 + .79 per mile for the 31 miles was worth. We estimated a little over $40 and when we turned in the truck, we were charged $61.25. We had the truck for a lite over 3 hours. That price is ridiculous. Ill think twice before renting again. Rude service too. I think I would have preferred wet couches.christopher M.

On pick up i was told I could return the trailer to a different location in Lansing, but when I got there I was told they didn't accept trailers. I took it to another location near by, but I was told at pick up that if I brought the trailer overnight, I could just leave it with a copy of the paperwork in the drop box... I'm glad I didn't end up needing to drop it off outside of office hours since they didn't accept trailers!AMY H.

First, I was expecting to start with a full tank and it was on 1/4 tank so I had to put gas in to start. The oil light was on, I had to spend my time checking the oil and adding 2 quarts...it was very low. I was not told of the tax nor the credit card fee that was added on the end, plus I left 1/8 of a tank more than when I started. I was reimbursed for the oil but nothing for my time to gas twice and check the oil. I'm dissapointedWENDY I.

This is the third time in a row I got a "not-so-well" maintained truck from Uhaul. For short trips around town is fine but when i call and specifically ask for a good truck because I am moving across country with ALL of my things... I would hope I could get a truck that rides properly. the truck we got ran good and was clean but needed some serious front suspension work. The truck rattled like an old lumber wagon all the way from Northern Michigan to Denver Colorado. This is the final straw for me... I'll be renting from Budget or Penske next time.WARREN S.

I rented the u haul at the cass location. When I went to pick it up they sent me to the M37 location. I was not told at the time I rented to go there. Not happy with that.JACK C.

I have rented trucks from uhaul and others several times but using "BLAIR SELF STORAGE" was the best experience I can remember. They we're professional with their services and everything was "smooth" from pick-up to drop-off. I would recommend them and uhaul to anyone in the Traverse City area. My original pickup location called several times to advise us the prior customer would be late returning and scheduled another location. Both locations were extremely helpful and friendly. the fuel tank was noted by the clerk when I picked the truck up to be one-half full. It wasn't yet I was expected to return it half-full. I should have returned immediately but was in a hurry and had difficulty turning the "rig" around. So it cost me an extra $20 or so when I gassed it up to return it in Maine. In addition the part time student/employee was friendly and tried to be helpful but was unable to offer advice or assistance with for example the tow dolley. I ended up picking it up on the following Monday.Thomas L.

This was a dabocle - we advised on Friday that we would need the storage unit on 6/5/10 and when we arrived on 6/6/10 we pulled up to a locked unit pushing our moving date to 6/7/10 - we were advised this was a careless error, but it put everyone involved on our end in a bad spot since we had to rearrange schedules to make sure we could get the U-Haul emptied and returned before we were charged for an additional day. Just be more aware so you don't put anyone else in a bad situation.JASON W.

They need to invest in a plow because we had to wait for 45 minutes while they worked to get the truck through the snow in their lot.
