The pickup location was a residential home which consisted of a mobile unit on a debris filled property. There was at least one kennel at rear of the property filled with barking dogs and a front yard/field where a few U-haul vehicles were parked. As such, the site did not appear overly safe. I had to knock on the side door of the home to gain the attention of the owner/representative who appeared unaware of the scheduled rental and pick up time. Once aware and with some difficulty, he processed the entire transaction on what appeared to be his personal phone. This made me uncomfortable since I was providing financial resource information. The owner/representative then had difficulty removing a trailer from the rental truck and needed assistance from me and an additional resident to disconnect the truck from trailer.Floyd L.
